Can't wait to fly this helo. It's so like the old Sikorsky Sea King inside that I'm feeling nostalgic. Been ages since I've seen the view from the co-pilot seat. Definitely nostalgic about my training days.
@@Sallam6060 I don’t use trim. I have a so called “dead stick” that stays in place when I release pressure. I have a video showing my controls on my channel: ua-cam.com/video/iVoc0Ej5R5M/v-deo.html Hope they will fix it soon then!
The checklist is a great tool, and if you press the "eye" to the right it will point out what button or switch that you need to push. I'm not a pilot myself, just an enthusiast! 😋
@@Vtrontv I guess that depends on your system specs and internet connection. For me I have better performance in MSFS 2024 👍 I think it will only improve as they add more servers and there are also rumors that it will be possible to install some content locally.
You need to counteract those forces with the anti torque (rudder) pedals. Also use the cyclic stick to compensate for left movement tendencies. Helicopters will start to spin either left or right depending on if the helicopter has either clockwise or anti clockwise turning rotors. It’s a gentle balance of all the axis :)
Yep, you always have to give it some pedal on lift off unless it is a tandem rotor helicopter. Some are built to compensate for it a bit better but it is always there due to physics. Same as dropping the collective for descent, you sometimes have to give it little bit of opposing pedal.
I was flying her today!!! So fun !!!
She is my goal for tonight, can't wait to fly this beauty 😍

@@kcampbell3045 I sure hope you will have a good time! If you use VR then it’s like you are almost back 🫡😀
Hello, can you do a video on how to drop the water/retardant? I have been trying to figure it out and haven’t been able too
I forgot this came out yesterday I’m going upstairs to download it now
Nice! Have a safe flight. Enjoy!
which controls do you use for trimming the helicopter? I tried the force trim and trim reset with the Chinook, but none of them worked for me!

Hi! Quick question what did you do to get S tier with cargo hook missions? I cannot for life of me get beyond 67% for drop location.
Thanks in advance
I will tell you when I get there! This video was from a free flight session. But I'm getting there, currently in SAR ops!
Appreciate that! Safe flying, may your journey be bug free.
I don’t even know how to start the helicopter but I’m not a pilot in using all the buttons to power up and start flying

@ yeah I know it’s on the switch handle bar for pilot and it’s confusing using helicopters control keys
Performance in VR is terrible right compared to MSFS 2020?

@ehindur91 i have overclocked 13600k and RTX 4080 super i guess that's more than required. 2020 gives me Solid 45 fps with still extra headroom left.
Every Time I increase collective the helicopters start spinning

There is also an assist setting to automatically compensate
No no no!! Never assistant 🤭

@@ehindur91 is it normal for my rudder to twitch quite a bit when I move around my joystick
Can water be added? And drop water?
I suppose it can, but I haven't found any buttons for it yet. Guess I'll see later in the career mode if I can find it out.
