- The Tennessee Titans roster is mostly set as we head towards training camp and that makes it a great time to break down the talent level of the team. The Titans have a ton of talent at the offensive skill spots, but some young players who must prove themselves as well. Next, the trenches feature some high potential, but a lack of depth that is concerning. Finally, the backend of the defense has big names, but there is also some big spots of concern.

Don’t forget about special teams star Anthony Kendall, top 20 in the NFL in special teams tackles. He’s also a slot with a Dennard Wilson attitude. I think he makes the team.

Nice job Tyler. I agree with every ranking but 2. 1st, I would have put Murphy as a purple. He wasn't used at all last year (well very very little) so there is nothing to grade him on, and he does have some skills that could be brought out. You don't get that many sacks in coillege without there being some talent. The 2nd one I think needs to be upgraded is Laundry. Most of last year he was still in recovery mode from the knee injury. But, the last 1/3 of the season, he got back to his normal self and was destroying plays at times, pretty much blew up the Miami offence all by himself. This year should be the same or better than the last 1/3 of last year, so I would have him as a very good player.
Mane levis is gonna ball tf out this year if he has a decent oline that can hold thieir block

Ive been a Sweat hater since he was picked but if our depth at interior DL is a bunch of practice squad players i can finally understand the pick . High risk high reward . Hopefully milk carton can get out on the field and prove us wrong because we need him to
Not the biggest on Murray myself but he was a first round pick and a starter for the Chargers and the Titans paid him and plan on starting him as a starter. Don’t believe he can be below that at this current point

Here's the thing with Will Levis that a lot of people don't understand. First.. Look at what he had last year on the team talent wise. Then, look at the game against Atlanta when the team was basically healthy as a whole. Even with a sub par O-line and lack of weapons, Levis beat a top tier defense. After that game, the titans took a lot of injury's mainly in the Steelers game. Levis is an elite QB that has yet been able to really develope his techniques and hone in on some key elements to reading defenses yet. You have to remember at Kentucky, he did not have the talent there either nor the coaching talent that he has now. I know talent when I see it and dominance. Levis has got the "IT" factor. Why do you think Amy did all the hirings and firings she did? She seen a top QB with talent. Amy knows football. She's been around it her entire life with her father and has been in many meetings, games, talent talks, what to look for. She got burnt before with Mariota and letting her GM"s and Coaches make the decision. Mariota would have been fine if they kept the same crew after they beat KC in the playoff game. NOW... Amy seen Levis's talent which is better than Mariota's. A lot better. Miles better. Now she has her QB. She's going to test him, but you will see, Levis will put the Titans on the map and will also win several superbowls for the Titans. He's got the Arm, Focus, Drive, Talent, Smarts, the full package. Year 2-4, we win a superbowl. This year, we win btw 10-11 games and win a playoff game and lose the next. The following year after the stadium is built, Titans win their first Superbowl ever, and it could be played in Nashville.
I wish we would have gotten J.Simmons and picked up a veteran RT or RG but overall I'm happy with the offseason moves titan up baby!! Thank you for the podcast Tyler great great great great great great great great great great great show!!

He’s 5”9’ and ran a 4.58. Hell of an athlete but for the nfl, especially at that size, well below average athletically. 2 ints and 8 pbs in 33 games is nothing special. With the massive hole at safety he could see a lot of snaps this year.
U know who ran a 4.54, The King who is a lot faster than a 4.54. Not saying it's slow by any means but the Cheetah ran a 4.30 he's faster than a 4.30. 40 yard dash isn't everything, like I said I never called Molden a super freak athlete all I said is he's a avg player

I have a different opinion with Mason Rudolph. Although he may serve as a backup quarterback, when he steps into a game due to a starter's injury, he consistently gives maximum effort. in my view, he is an average quarterback.
Disagree. Arguably, Rudolph was mismanaged by Pittsburgh. If he plays like he did the last half of season, Titans will have a quarterback discussion. What convinces me of this is the solid respect he gains from receivers and offensive line. Rudolph has arm strength, and has shown maturity and knowledge of playing schemes.. His ball placement is excellent, which avoids injuries. And his commitment to stay in pocket and observe blocking lanes is highly respected by the offensive line. This will be interesting to watch.
