Just came across David Attenborough: A life on our planet documentary that led me to Breaking Boundaries: The Science of our Planet documentary. It was such an eye opener, and somehow made me a bit ashamed that I wasnt aware of such extremely important facts about our planet. Kudos to this man and the rest of the scientists who made such important facts known. Now, it is left to us, human beings to heed their advices. Personally, I am confident that I will do my best to be guided by the lessons Ive learned. I pity the other living creatures for being continuously ruined by the smartest creatures on Earth... The smartest yet the most dangerous, humans.
I ask myself the same question, why are more people not interested in this life altering topic. I was aware of the problem of plastics and the need to recycle and reduce, but I was unaware of the scale and danger of climate change until the 2016 presidential campaign. During the pandemic I took a deep dive into educating myself about the climate crisis. I've tried talking to friends and family but no one wants to here bad news, even though that knowledge makes them able to correct the problems. I'm exhausted. I'm a parent and grandparent who is beyond worried about the future...the near future. 😞
They will eliminate as many people as possible and with less agriculture needed they will reclaim abandonned farmlands for forests. I can see no other explanation how agriculture may capture CO2 for good.
