I love the engaging edits and the music is the right volume. Great video! Blood meridian is that challenging book for me. Very satisfying to read, although I went half as fast, maybe even slower, because I had to google words on every page despite being a native english speaker lol
thanks so much! haha i hear you with needing to google, i have an anki flashcard deck where i add words that i don't know so i can memorise them... and at the moment there are 50+ words waiting to be reviewed 💀 i've been meaning to look into blood meridian! i'll add it to my list
When I was your age I got through all sorts of books like butter but now I'm in my 60s still working I admit I find it an effort being tired rely on youtube videos for my education. I still get books that I have a preference for but sadly my eyes start to feel tired quickly I guess its age creeping up. 😂😂
haha this is an all too common story! your story reminds me of my ahma, my grandmother. she used to read a book before bed. she read an incomprehensible amount. in a way, she opened me up to the possibility of even being able to do that. but she too lost her ability to read with age. she had to substitute her beloved agatha christie novels with TV mysteries.
