The Black Knight the White Rook is attacking is also being attacked by the White Queen. The black Queen can't defend both knights and would lose the other one by moving it. No matter what Black loses a piece as it isn't possible to defend it twice. At this level players can consistently grind out wins with an extra pawn never mind a whole piece.
The threat is RxNd7. Then Ne7 is under attack by the same rook, and can't be defended, must be moved exposing the pawn on f7 to white's rook, and that pawn would fall. White's knight on g5 is also attacking f7. I think the best move for black in the position as shown would be Nc8, then white could play Qxd7, queens traded, pawn on f7 can't be defended, and black's pieces are stuck, while nothing of white's position is threatened unless black wants to trade his rook for a knight ... doesn't look rosy for black.
When you see Carlsen spinning a chess piece in his hands...He has already figured out how to beat you!!!
Beautifully played !...
Magnus always crushes caro-kann by advanced variation.
Top move after top move, insanely precise.
Just waiting and passively defending is not enough to hold.
Magnus played very well
He never lose
On end, epic et titant.
Lucha constante y constructiva.
Watching videos without Carlsen I noticed that he always brings half of his bottle of water into any game 😎
the white shirt guy is playing good
Lol
Meraviglioso
Watching the guy in the white shirt play against less than the 10 best in the world shows how good he is.
Magnus Champion 💪💪💪💪💪💪💪💪👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Kobalia will lose a Knight and Pawn Root. Thats the game ending
