At 63 , first time travelling alone…I now crave for solo time. I’ve been caring for family, children, grand children, husband, sick parents all my life since 19. And as an introvert was worried to be on my own far away from home. Now I’m rediscovering myself. Feeling free!
I have both travelled alone and with companions. As an introvert who loves travel, I enjoy the ability to just go anywhere, not have an itinerary, and not to worry about juggling someones availability. Im emotionally secure enough to not need a companion. My job requires me to always interact with people, so my travel time is my time to turn off and give time for myself.
I don't go out of my way to meet people when traveling - that's a bizarre thought for an introvert! But I do find that simply traveling puts me in a more adventerous mood to talk to strangers.
Im an introvert traveler who also uses hostel dorms a lot and yeah we are easy to spot, we’re the ones who don’t tend to hang out at the lounge to talk to others all day, we tend to go out and do activities by ourselves, return, say hi if somebody makes eye contact, and then retreat to our bed. We save money while forcing ourselves to be a liiiiittle bit social. 😅
Hey I am hella introverted and like super quiet so I dont really ever intitiate interation with people. I am taking a gap year to travel and whatnot and wanted to know how it was meeting people and talking to people in the hostels and just around where you are. Any tips on like how you balance being super “im not gonna talk to you” to wanting/trying to meet people and whatnot? Thank you for whoever responds to this
By the way, society wants you to believe that if you are introvert you are bad (kind od) but I never see this hypersocial people talking in lounges or socializing everywhere and actually if you approach a stranger to make small talk or conversation the stranger will either think you are a weirdo or feel not interested in a conversation. Most people have their own life and are not interested in random conversations with strangers. I am introvert but I actually feel people around me are even more introvert than me as I wouldn’t mind making friends while travelling but in my experience most travellers wants to be solo and not bothered by strangers or interact only with people in their group.
Needed this. I’m what I’d call an outgoing introvert. I struggle with socials anxiety sometimes, but also long to meet people.. starting this journey at 40 just adds another layer to that angst! Great advice, thanks so much.

Great video. I used to be an extrovert and was also married for a long time. My wife passed away a few years ago and I also feel I am more on the solo-introvert side of things. I finally started traveling again and did several long term trips solo and it was such a fantastic experience. Nothing beats getting out of your comfort zone and going on group tours was fantastic - met friends that I still communicate with and one couple I am planning on meeting again in Europe this summer. But I could not explain what you just did in this fantastic video and I hope this is an inspiration for many who wonder how weird or lonely it is to travel solo.

i've travelled all over the world and lived alone as an introvert my whole life, being super lonely is great it allows to really get into yourself and feel your journey on your own terms and the terms of whatever spiritual reason is driving your travels instead of dealing with other's drama while travelling, often enough, the disasters, accidents and problems i've had while travelling foreign places occurred because of a chance meeting with another traveller, i think i've met more beggars and scammers while travelling than like-minded travellers tho... i'm sure it's different for a woman as it's generally easier to make friends and meet people as a woman, but i know more than a few women who would agree that while travelling abroad on your own it's best to keep others at an arms length.. or longer.. if you don't have a trusted friend to take with you on your journey, it's taking a chance to join up with another traveller who you've only just met... but, i prefer being alone as people tend to talk about themselves too much and miss out on all the natural beauty around them...

Thanks for the tips. After traveling SE Asia for 2 months I rented a condo in Patong, Phuket Thailand and ended up watching A LOT of Law and Order Re-runs while ordering Pizza Hut delivery. I had an amazing pool and gym and a 10 min walk to the beach but I was burned out and fell into a rut. Once I left and headed for Laos I got back in the travel spirit. Sometimes isolation is great but it can become a trap for me if I don't watch out.
This is so great, it feels exactly where I'm at at the moment, I appreciate the reminder that getting away doesn't have to be all about meeting people, I'm happy to finally be in a place where I can be content to be with my own thoughts and in my own company 😊
I'm 57 and after serving 27 years in the military I am comfortable with the dorm style. I kind of prefer that to staying alone. I do book a place solo for a few days now and then to recharge on my own. I like meeting the younger travelers as will keep up with them on the party scene (but not party as hard).
I'm soo GRATEFUL the universe connected me to your channel and wonderful energy! I'm 38 and starting my journey in a month. I've always wanted to travel the world and meet like minded people, but I let fear of the unknown, society, and finances hinder me. I'm on my journey to discover my TRUE self and true purpose. Nature, travel, peace, simplicity, and meditation will help unlock my truths. 🧘🏿♂️ Sending peace, love, and compassion your way from Columbus, Ohio. ☮️ Love the content!🏞️🗺️ In peace
For sure! I'm starting my first seasonal job at Yellowstone NP in April. I'm down to all my possessions in two carry-on luggages. Got my passport 3 months ago. Hoping to meet some good international friends at Yellowstone during my 6 months there. Then I will have places to travel overseas😁. If not, I'm all about solo traveling! I've got off all social media platforms now going on three years! This month sold all my possessions even my car. I've always wanted to travel the world but put it off working high stress corporate jobs to try to pay on my student loan debt. I wasn't happy, so I changed my lifestyle! My only monthly bill will be my cell (65.00) #simpleLiving #freedom #peace #happyLife
I really love your video you’re such a brave woman travelling on your own I’m really looking up to you as a fellow female introvert. I’m quite young as I became an adult only a year ago but I’m going to leave to South East Asia in a week. I think that it’s a very good skill to learn on how to make time for when to be on your own / surrounded by others and set the boundaries of when you need to recharge. Being independent and relying on your own is so important although maintaining social relationships has a play. Thanks again!
Kristin, I LOVE that you can do things solo, finding peace and contentment within yourself. I strive to do this. At 59 I am still not able to do this but I am working toward it as a lifetime goal. Your confidence is admirable! 🙏
I'm English and we rarely use the word awesome to describe things but that's what this video is. Thanks so much for it. I am pretty introverted, I love being on my own but I don't want to be completely alone all the time. This gave me some good ideas about how to meet people when I want to and when I need to be around them. I'm Much more confident about going to do the whole digital nomad thing by myself now 🙂
Wow! I am glad that i found your channel. I have been travelling excessively since 2007 and I can so much relate to what you say. I just turned 41 and all tries of settling down in the past years have failed. I became an inrovert myself and now i also prefer a room in a guesthouse or hotel rather than a Dorm. But I also realize that i miss socialzing. Sometimes i only talk to the barista in the morning when I have my daily Espresso :) But as long as we reflect and realize how we function emotionally we can find a good balance. Your Vlog is very inspiring. Thanks for your videos. I have subscribed :) Best wishes from Germany, soon back in Asia
I'm 33 and I totally get the introverted thing, people find it odd that you'd have the balls to go out travelling by yourself when it actually makes perfect sense to me
I've been looking for thing kind of content for ages , I too am as introverted as they come and I had plans on going on a trip before the pandemic and then everything was paused It is sooo great to listen to your experiences and realise that the world is not that scary as solo female traveler ❤️
I wish i could accept being alone just like you are able to. When i travel in groups or when i traveled with one of my ex girlfriends i was constantly thinking if they are entertained or bored by the activities i wanted to do. I mean it was not that stressing as it sounds but it was in the back of my head. I love your beautiful video, it leaves me with a positive mood.
My wife and I are a typical introvert/extrovert couple and we're travelling almost full time now. So travelling for us is balanced in that respect, which I'm thankful for. I think it'd be a whole different struggle if we didn't have that balance. But ultimately I think it leads to growth.
Travelling as introvert is incredibly easy because you barely have to speak to anyone but no one is taking care of you so you get basic communication and get your thoughts to yourself.
By the way we always speak about inteoverts vs extroverts but no person above 30 is into having random conversations with strangers. Even if you try it’s hard to make friends as a solo traveller, so I would say after a certain age most people are introverts.
Im 20 and traveling alone to Puerta Vallarta in 2 weeks! Super excited! To meet people and even be alone, and just appreciating the gift I gave myself :)
I'm going to Lanzarote in two weeks again (after the pandemic). I was there 4 years ago and it was the second time solo traveling for me. I met a hippie couple on a boat tour and drank beer with them while getting to know where the best beaches on the island are (they have been traveling there for over 15 years). It is just such a sweet feeling to chose WHEN to socialize as an introvert. 😎 I'm getting ready to recharge! 🥰 Thank you for the tips! 😊
Great Video. Thanks so much. I find people don’t get those who love to solo travel. Especially female solo travelers. Thanks for all the tips and supporting all of us introverted, female solo travelers! 🤗
Great advice. I travelled the world on my own for about 6 years using many of the strategies you mentioned. I too am an introvert and need to be alone to recharge but still enjoy the company of others along the way. I created so many good memories and got to know myself in the process. Enjoy your adventure.
I lost friends by relocating three for work related motives. One time was enough if it wasn’t for covid. And well, now I am 31, I left friends behind and I always travel alone. Should I travel with someone it has to be someone special. I used to have special friends but now only special people to me are my relatives. Maybe I will find new friends but to me it’s better to travel alone than travelling with someone just not to be alone. Travel companions must be really close friends or family, otherwise it’s always better to travel alonw.
My first solo trip plan is to travel to Tokyo, Japan for 2 week, and simply experience the lifestyle of an Internet Cafe/Capsule Hotel type of person. (Since it's just me, I don't have to worry about feeling bad about going the more affortable route seeing as the trip is mainly about exploring a new district of Tokyo for me, eat lunch at a nice restuant, take photos, simply sight see, once it gets dark, have some dinner near, get back to the hotel where they have free ice cream, and other things, shower for $4 for 30 minutes, and simply have breakfast the next morning in the Hotel's cafe area. (There's really no reason for me to spent big, just the logistics of traveling with just a back pack, and exploring new places to me is enough of a reward.) (I mean I'll buy a view things to bring back for my mom, but that's really it.) Of course do other things, but spending it on high end things is not really meaningful to me (Plus I can't afford it with just 6 months of saving...I could if I don't pay rent where I am already at...but...nope. I'm just so grateful that I don't have a car or family that depends on me. I'm good.) It's just from January to April, I gotta make sure to only spend my money on rent, and save, save, save. (Not to mention Tax Refund, and other factors since December we get paid 3 times this month...so...many other factors in me saving until then.) Plan, plan, plan, save, save, save, paper work in order, the japanese likes paper copies, and making sure I get that booster shot to avoid the hassle of a 72 hour PCR test. (I mean, I already have 2 shots...I might aswell get the 3rd one to be cleared to travel internationally without extra hassles.)
I'm a 35-year-old introvert man, and I love solo travelling more than going as a pair or group. Solly travelling advantages are freedom and opportunities to meet new people.
You are so fortunate You are courageous as well to live life like you are living now Traveling on your own and staying alone in completely new places... hattss off to your courageous and brave attitude... Cheers God bless
I’ve noticed that traveling has made me into an introvert. I don’t feel the need anymore to meet everyone and do everything. I’ve been taking it slower and working at hostels along the way to have time to make actual connections with people! ❤
When I was 19 I traveled alone nyc and Nola from uK. Now at 24, I’ve become so terrified to travel alone. I’m going Spain solo soon and I’m suddenly overcome with fear 😅 added with my introversion I keep going into mini panic attacks about it… Just venting now but I’m trying to keep positive and open. Wish me luck !
I enjoyed traveling in hostels when I was younger. Now at 31 I really don't enjoy it at all. I'm going for hotels or private rooms in airbnb. I use meetup and couchsurfing hangout to meet people.
Thanks for the video! I have been traveling solo in the US but am thinking of planning my first international solo trip (which is terrifying but so exciting :)
This video randomly showed up in my feed today. Very entertaining. How could you be an introvert when you make UA-cam videos? I think you’re an extrovert at heart
So great. Thank u for sharing. U described me to a T!! Im social but love to recharge by myself. I also like to eat, relax or go when i want and not worry about someone else. Looking forward to checking out ur other videos
I think you’d have a career in helping people relax as you have a really pleasant, soft toned and nice voice. Oh, I subscribed btw as I do a lot of solo travel myself and your tips are always useful. I’m actually writing this at the airport in Malaga, Spain. Waiting to flay back to the UK 😊 two weeks solo in Costa de Sol.
OMG, I watch your video and this is exactly what I am like! I love being alone but I know I need to push myself too to meet people and start socializing! I am at a stage where now I have no job, no committments and I am wondering where my next move will take me! xx
Great to see you, Kristin. It's been a while since I've stopped by and wanted to see what you are up to. Great tips for introverts. I agree with you, I am definitely considered an extrovert, but I need my alone time to recharge. I feel like I am more of an introvert (liking my solitude and alone time) more than an extrovert. Although, when I am around people, I am definitely a social butterfly. haha. Big hugs to you and hope you are well!
@@Bemytravelmuse Haha, yes me too. (And I think people are happy to be away from me as well. haha) Miss you too and hopefully we'll get to see each other face to face soon! We're looking forward to getting back out on the road again for an extended period. We realize after these past (nearly) two years that souls really need to keep moving.
I've been really feeling drained and not myself lately. Funny thing is I just came off of a group vacation in LA that I thought would help but it only made me want more me time but I'm finding it difficult to get away since I've become my mom's caretaker. I appreciate this video for ideas... hopefully I can find some time for myself
Thanks. This is such a good idea for me. I am super shy and its super difficult for me to meet people. Even though I love to be alone sometimes I do appreciated talking with someone and meeting new people specially when on holidays.
Super introvert here who is also in her 30s (also,i dont drink anymore, makes meeting people a little bit more challenging i realize compared to my fuelled 20s). I also force myself to get my dose of socialization through prepaid day tours so i dont back out lol
This is good!!! I do plan on traveling both international and domestic this. I’ve always wanted to but was afraid. After watching this! I think I’m ready !!!
I am apparently an introverted extrovert (discovered this was a thing during Covid working from home). When I travel I am OK meeting people and socializing or touring in a group, but I love having time and a room to myself to recharge.
Thanks In Mexico, my room was my refuge, I left Zipolite when the loud spring break crowd came to town, and then it wasn't. At any age, bongos outside your window, every night at 3am, is not cool.
Thanks so much for these great tips, its something I have been thinking about resent, how to meet people while traveling solo at 34. But Like you say it should be possible if your creative, I need to write these tips down. You seam like a very special person, would have loved to bump in to you on one of mye future travels :) Thanks for the motivation for keeping up my solo travels as I did when I was younger.
I once took part in a cooking class in India - a very simple restaurant. They said I have to register and pay because there are already so many participants. So I signed up and paid 800 INR, around 10 euros at the time. The next day I went to the course - I was alone and had to peel onions and potatoes, chop vegetables etc. for 20 people. I had to wash chard and spinach for an army. Didn't have time for recipes - received a small lunch at the end of the day, was still hungry but didn't get an extra portion. I felt like a slave for a day. I was upset then, now all I can do is laugh, I was so stupid 🤣
I enjoy traveling alone. But I hate the moment that I part away from a person that I just had a wonderful conversation with. It can make me so moody for a while.
I loved the video but I wished it would have some examples of how to recharge as an introvert whilst traveling solo. I’ve been traveling Central America for about 7 months, and staying exclusively in hostel or workaway, I find hard to actually be alone. There is always someone in the room and I crave some actual aloneness without having to pay more for a hotel. Maybe you have some ideas of how to recharge :)
Honestly pay for your own room. It’s worth it for a night. Otherwise if you feel comfortable going for a solo hike or solo camping or something like that. But it’s hard otherwise to get a whole day alone.
I was miserable staying in youth hostels in the early 1980s. Could not ever feel wanted in a group. I even rehearsed on how to introduce myself and failed every time. At peace with myself now and I really dont need anybody but my family and my 2 friends.
Sorry you had a bad experience! There had been times when I simply could not click with anyone at the hostel, and they were opportunities to be comfortable with your own company :)
Im actually more nervous and anxious around people than I was when I first travelled. Been on the road for 15 years and done crazy stuff, but other backpackers make me nervous and anxious, im puzzled...!!! I once saw this swiss guy on a ferry crossing in central america and he was solo and looked as though he had autism, didnt talk to anyone, but still managed to travel...I think about him when feeling nervous/anxious/apprehensive 😊
I am somewhat, if not most of the time, an introvert - in essence, I do just fine on my own. I do however, function ok with others but prefer my solitude and alone times. I am a bit OCD, or as my old boss used to call me: "Disgustingly Organized". I do travel with my spouse for the most part and never really gave it much thought of traveling alone but your video is very insightful and informative. Thanks.
I’m travelling solo this year for the first time but Im mostly worried about getting food. Like I know it’s going to feel so weird and awkward for me to be sitting in a restaurant by myself. I plan on getting some street food sometimes so I can sort of find a spot to eat somewhere in the town. But there will be times when I need to eat at the hotel restaurant to save money
Personally I only enjoy travelling with other people if we are talking about family or really close and dear friends you can be yourself with. Also, very important to me, when travelling I don’t like to compromise too much on things to do and places to visit, so we need to have similar interests. Travelling solo you feel really free to do what you want whenever you want and as I am 31 and relocated multiple times due to work I just find hard to find 1) a travelling partner and 2) somebody that is actually worth to travel with, somebody that would not spoil in any way the experience. Plus, most people above 30 travel with their boyfriend/girlfriend and tbh it would feel weird to me to travel with other men. So as long as I stay single I will probably travel alone or with relatives in the future. I just don’t enjoy travelling with other people as mich as I enjoy travelling alone, especially if I we are talking about travelling with a large group of people.
just go through your video. Thanks for the tips. As a super introvert ( and gay guy) i can relate to this. Got to deal with social anxiety too, so I always book hotel and i feel completely okay travelling alone until i got to join a group for some reason, like, last time i went to Philippines and hopped on island tour, also took another scuba diving session next day with a group, everything was perfect until we had lunch tgt on boat, everyone is super cool and sociable person, it was like 'no more hiding' 🙈and it could be one of most embarrassing and horrible moment of my life..😱

Don’t knock it till you try it, private rooms at hostels are secluded
I did the hostel thing on a trip before. Four different hostels. I didn’t particularly enjoy it either.

I like meeting the younger travelers as will keep up with them on the party scene (but not party as hard).
i've always been introverted and i've always loved traveling by myself. my favorite place is long beach trips.
Sending peace, love, and compassion your way from Columbus, Ohio. ☮️ Love the content!🏞️🗺️
In peace
Hell yeah. I hope you have an amazing journey and I would love to hear about it!
Kristin,
I LOVE that you can do things solo, finding peace and contentment within yourself.
I'm Much more confident about going to do the whole digital nomad thing by myself now 🙂
Aw I’m glad!
How blessed you are to travel and explore the world. That's my dream to go travel the world. Enjoy your journey.
Sometimes i only talk to the barista in the morning when I have my daily Espresso :)
But as long as we reflect and realize how we function emotionally we can find a good balance. Your Vlog is very inspiring. Thanks for your videos. I have subscribed :) Best wishes from Germany, soon back in Asia
I'm 33 and I totally get the introverted thing, people find it odd that you'd have the balls to go out travelling by yourself when it actually makes perfect sense to me
Me too
travelling alone is another kind of happiness... Despite my age (20 yo hereee), i would definitely do it and i am sure about it!
I've been looking for thing kind of content for ages , I too am as introverted as they come and I had plans on going on a trip before the pandemic and then everything was paused
It is sooo great to listen to your experiences and realise that the world is not that scary as solo female traveler ❤️
I’ve traveled throughout Europe by myself, I never had an issue traveling alone. I’ve only done hotels due to the pandemic.
To be able to travel without having to check someone else's calendar is great :)
I'm introverted and love travelling alone so much
Im 20 and traveling alone to Puerta Vallarta in 2 weeks!
Great advise! And isn’t it a blessing when one suddenly realizes that they like their own company more than needing to be with others?!?
I lost friends by relocating three for work related motives.
One time was enough if it wasn’t for covid. And well, now I am 31, I left friends behind and I always travel alone.
Should I travel with someone it has to be someone special. I used to have special friends but now only special people to me are my relatives.
Maybe I will find new friends but to me it’s better to travel alone than travelling with someone just not to be alone. Travel companions must be really close friends or family, otherwise it’s always better to travel alonw.
Thanks, this is the solo travelling video i've been looking for!
I’ve always wanted to travel but afraid to go alone but I can’t continue to wait for people.
YESS! I am queen introvert and LOVE solo travel
🙌👑
I'm a 35-year-old introvert man, and I love solo travelling more than going as a pair or group. Solly travelling advantages are freedom and opportunities to meet new people.
Thank you so much for this info ❤️ I love solo travel but I get lonely sometimes these are great ideas!
You are so fortunate
You are courageous as well to live life like you are living now
Traveling on your own and staying alone in completely new places...
hattss off to your courageous and brave attitude...
Cheers
God bless
I’ve noticed that traveling has made me into an introvert. I don’t feel the need anymore to meet everyone and do everything. I’ve been taking it slower and working at hostels along the way to have time to make actual connections with people! ❤
When I was 19 I traveled alone nyc and Nola from uK. Now at 24, I’ve become so terrified to travel alone. I’m going Spain solo soon and I’m suddenly overcome with fear 😅 added with my introversion I keep going into mini panic attacks about it…
Just venting now but I’m trying to keep positive and open. Wish me luck !
Omg I used to stay in hostels in my twenties as well, but now I’m 37 and I tend to isolate a lot like you said. Thanks for the advice
I enjoyed traveling in hostels when I was younger. Now at 31 I really don't enjoy it at all. I'm going for hotels or private rooms in airbnb. I use meetup and couchsurfing hangout to meet people.
Yep my feelings exactly
Thanks for the video! I have been traveling solo in the US but am thinking of planning my first international solo trip (which is terrifying but so exciting :)
Have a blast!
@@14kbracelet you can do it (if you want to)
This sounds so exciting - I’d really recommend Europe for solo travel - it’s so accessible!
There's something about her that just seems so wholesome and goodhearted
just found out about your channel and I'm loving it, definitely one of the best youtubers I've ever watched lately. You got a new subscriber G.G'
This video randomly showed up in my feed today. Very entertaining. How could you be an introvert when you make UA-cam videos? I think you’re an extrovert at heart
😂 maaaan it took practice. But also though I’m outgoing I just need my alone time 😊
So great. Thank u for sharing. U described me to a T!! Im social but love to recharge by myself. I also like to eat, relax or go when i want and not worry about someone else. Looking forward to checking out ur other videos
Hope they’re helpful! 😊
That was so inspiring to watch your post because I’m leaving right now for a seven night mini vacation to Utah by myself!😃
Woohoo!
CN I had your list of travel destinations. My journey has started
I've traveled alone several times. And, yes, it's easy to meet people when you don't have partners to speak with. I love that way of traveling!
I think you’d have a career in helping people relax as you have a really pleasant, soft toned and nice voice. Oh, I subscribed btw as I do a lot of solo travel myself and your tips are always useful. I’m actually writing this at the airport in Malaga, Spain. Waiting to flay back to the UK 😊 two weeks solo in Costa de Sol.
aw thanks!
Kanab Utah is one of the Koolest.small towns in America either way you leave town there's something interesting to see!
OMG, I watch your video and this is exactly what I am like! I love being alone but I know I need to push myself too to meet people and start socializing! I am at a stage where now I have no job, no committments and I am wondering where my next move will take me! xx
Yes!!
I prefer traveling alone because I am not forced to do things the people I’m with want to do but I don’f
Aw so nice to hear from you! You know sometimes I can switch too! But after days and days of people I’m like NeEd AlOnE TiMe nOw 😂. Miss you guys!
First time on the channel. Great video. Thanks for the great tips even though I am not a solo female traveler.
Super introvert here who is also in her 30s (also,i dont drink anymore, makes meeting people a little bit more challenging i realize compared to my fuelled 20s). I also force myself to get my dose of socialization through prepaid day tours so i dont back out lol
Yep as a non-drinker it’s definitely more of a challenge to meet people but I find I meet the coolest people, too. The ones who aren’t there to party.
This is good!!! I do plan on traveling both international and domestic this. I’ve always wanted to but was afraid. After watching this! I think I’m ready !!!
Woohoo! Have the best time!
Great video! I am looking forward to my own solo travels as an introverted woman!
Woohoo get it!
I am apparently an introverted extrovert (discovered this was a thing during Covid working from home). When I travel I am OK meeting people and socializing or touring in a group, but I love having time and a room to myself to recharge.
Thanks
In Mexico, my room was my refuge, I left Zipolite when the loud spring break crowd came to town, and then it wasn't.
At any age, bongos outside your window, every night at 3am, is not cool.
take a look at "the body holiday" in st lucia. They cater to solo travelers, wonderful place. Ive been their many times.
Really nice topic. Thank you a lot!
Wow
Thank you for a great video and sharing your thoughts!
This is motivating!
I been travelling by myself since age 22, when I went to sea on merchant ships. Now I'm 55 and I motocamp around Europe. Once a loner, always a loner.
So glad I am not the only weirdo that likes to be alone lol
Great video, thanks for the info. Planning on a solo trip to Italy next month (1st time visiting) and gonna try the Hostel thing. Super stoked :D
Enjoy! I love Italy
I enjoy traveling alone. But I hate the moment that I part away from a person that I just had a wonderful conversation with. It can make me so moody for a while.
I feel that
I really loved this video, thanks.
Great Video!!! Thanks for sharing 👍🏽 😊
What is the point in traveling solo if your focused on meeting people? The point of being solo is to be left alone.
I love to travel alone.. do whatever I want, whenever I wants..
Traveling alone is the best.. my plan is to do Annapurna circuit trek alone, one day.
Loved the introvert comments. All I can say is me too!!
As an introvert I go vacations alone . Is better alone than staying home . When I visit new places I feel nice , is like my hobby
Thanks.
Been there recently, great place for a run!
Depending on where you go street food is the best bet (Southeast Asia). Don’t worry you’ll meet people to eat with!
this is super helpful! i definitely never want to do a dorm or hostel now that i’m in my 30s but i also don’t want to be completely antisocial
Got to deal with social anxiety too, so I always book hotel and i feel completely okay travelling alone until i got to join a group for some reason, like, last time i went to Philippines and hopped on island tour, also took another scuba diving session next day with a group, everything was perfect until we had lunch tgt on boat, everyone is super cool and sociable person, it was like 'no more hiding' 🙈and it could be one of most embarrassing and horrible moment of my life..😱
When you are meeting new people on the road and shared hostels always keep your valuables away from pick-pocketers, even when you sleep.
I’m terrified to travel alone because I don’t trust other people. Being in a new place that you’ve never been and alone is terrifying!
Can also be invigorating and empowering 💪🏼
Please be safe love the video
I am here for the mid 30s introverted travel tips 😁
🙌
Thanks you. Yes I am. ❤
