When I landed at Narita last week, I accidentally left a folder on the counter at the JR East ticket center. It contained my printed itinerary and hotel confirmations, but nothing of value. By the time I realized I left it, I was already on N'EX train to Tokyo Station. Five days later, I was now in Hiroshima, checking into my third hotel. The front desk of the hotel calls me to tell me they have my folder! JR East counter staff turned it in and the police spent 5 days tracking me down to return it. Like I said, it had nothing of value in it, but I am so impressed that such an effort was made on my behalf when I didn't even report it missing! I love Japan!
Omg we lost my daughter’s ipad at Tokyo Disneyland and I thought it was gone for good. I emailed their lost and found in case some one turned it in and literally the next day they emailed me back saying they found it! We had just left to come back home so they mailed it back to us and it arrived in less than a month!😍 Japan is AMAZING❤️
I watched another video who was not Japanese that purposely dropped his wallet and out of the 100 times, everyone chased him and brought his wallet back. He tried at different places and different ages and even the homeless person brought his wallet! Nobody stole the money for those wondering. Only in Japan.
I had the ssme experience here last October. I was out running errands and while checking out at our local market I could not find wallet. I retraced my steps to the last place I had used it but to no avail. My wife and I then when to the local Koban and after the attending officer made some inquires she reported to us the wallet had been found and turned in to the local police station with the ¥50,000 (~$350) still within. It was at the moment I remembered to start breathing again.
That's really incredible, I can only imagine how relived you must have been! Especially with the money still there. Out of everywhere I've been, Japan is the only place where I still retain some hope that the lost item may be returned. So glad that you got your wallet back and props to the attending officer for chasing it up! Hope you have a great day ❤️
It was a wonderful story. As a Japanese person, this video made me happy. Thank you very much 👍 Be careful not to drop anything. Have a wonderful day🙋♂🙆♀
Dropped my wallet in India, The one who got it, took the money but was caring enough to hand over my driving license to the police so I don't have to go through the process . 🙂
Hello Marianna. I am a new UA-camr that’s about to move to Japan in one month. Seeing your video I am wondering why are people still wearing masks? Did they made it mandatory again? Thank you and wish you all the best !
Hi Emily, I hope your move goes well and you have a brilliant time in Japan ❤️ From 13th of March last year, masks were no longer requested in public. However it’s not uncommon to wear them in Japan even before 2020, especially during winter and allergy season (summer is a bad idea as it’s hot and sweaty haha). I tend to wear one due to health issues but you don’t have to if you don’t want. Thanks for your comment ❤️❤️❤️
Oh thank you very much for your wishes and for your quick reply, I really appreciate it it. I hope you get 100% well . 🥰 I’m more calm now about it, I was a bit worried that they might put some rules again and I don’t wanna miss my transfer to there. Please take care always! 🤗🙂
Is anybody familiar with a company "Lost and Found Japan"? located at 2-8-12, Kachidoki, Chuo-Ku, Tokyo, Japan. Are they a legitimate and reputable company?

If you lost your wallet in America, you would have never gotten it back.

Do a video from India for comparison with Japan & China.
