Wonderful and very funny. Of course, cats must always help! And the Doctor Who clip was an apropos comment on slithery silk. Were hats, caps, and bonnets also worn because women didn't often wash their hair?
Thank you! They may not have washed their hair as often as we do today, but I’ve not read anything suggesting the hat/cap thing is due to dirty hair. I do know Jane Austen liked wearing caps so she did not have to mess so much with her hair!
Absolutely love the hat. I too can't wait to see the alligator shawl. After watching two Bridgeton episodes I found that it was not to my liking. The costumes and anachronisms were awful, but the naughty behavior of the characters clenched my decision to not watch it. I decided I would rather watch Time Team and costuming videos like yours instead.
How have I not been following you already? I'm obsessed with historical hats! As I get Shannon makes capetember challenge done. I am preparing to make a witches bonnet if I have enough wool prepared! Apparently next month my hometown is having a witches walk! Which is crazy since Im from a small country town in atlantic canada that is predominately catholic!
Omg you're so funny you're literally the best!

@@AJaneiteSews Caps are great when you have stupid hair that is impossible to dress up nicely! *not bitter *
this video was really funny, and I love the bonnet! Can't wait to see the piece de resistance that is the alligator shawl :)
Saving the regency mad hatter idea for later....👀 💋
Thanks for the fun. I love your quirky sense of humour. And that you are also a geologist! I love rocks. and have been known to knock a few myself!
Fabric that stretches in the 5th direction is well-known to me 😂

I can’t manage to follow the directions either - even the first time I try something new. My brain feels like it will implode if I do.
Hahahaha I use rocks! I thought I was the only one.
Wanda scene: “see? No hats!” 😂😂😂😂😂 👏👏👏👏👏
I enjoy your humor and your millinery adventures! Hats for everyone!!
Thank you!!!
Cute!
Nice one 😊
It's beautiful! Very elegant and understated. Very excited to see the rather less understated gator shawl, too.
Thank you 😊
Your so funny! Love your videos. The bonnet came out really nicely.
Thank you!!

Very cool! I hope you can make a witch's bonnet!!
I scared my student by barking this high pitched half laugh yell when you mentioned burning the bonnet in effigy XD
LOLOLOL
