I normally sleep better as well. I don't have nightmares either. I wonder if I fall asleep faster because my mind doesn't want to think about what I just heard. But maybe it's our narrators. They have soothing voices and the way they have to read to make it scary they have to be kinda soft and low. Honestly it's usually the secondary actors that snap me out of dozing off. This is the first story I heard, it got me hooked, subscribed etc, etc . Now I've been binge listening/watching since, that was about 3-6 months ago. I don't regret 1 minute of any story I have listened to. Well done C.T.F.D.N. You have even changed my opinion on listening to 'Let's read'
LadyFaeryJ -Ever try knitting or cross stitching to it? It is _the_ most relaxing thing on the planet. Tbh, it's better than drugs for your stresses! 🤗🌼
The last one was disturbing and the sad part is stuff like that happens on a constant basis When I started highschool, around 5-6 years ago I got super close with these two people who I eventually tried to get them together and I did, we did everything together until we all got to grade 12 and they started using drugs, stealing and all that and one day I got a phone call from one of them, telling me what had happened. The other person stole from someone and the person they had stole from said he'd forget about it for sex so that's what they did. She had gone 9 days without heroine and she overdosed to the point she died, then the one who called me ended up becoming homeless and he's always trying to commit suicide but he fails That story is so god damn similar to what my friends went through, it's actually kind of disturbing Instead of killing people, they robbed people and mugged people There's a whole lot of detail I didn't get into but it was SO similar, if I were to type it I could easily make a book out of it because it was equally as disturbing, just not so over the top, it included 2 deaths (possibly more) and it wasn't as emotional
Only a few minutes into this one, and so far both of these people seem like common low down fiends who deserve some terrible punishment, especially for robbing and killing people. Piece of shit crackheads. Just finished, didn't change my opinion. Junkies who were outright cockroaches. Author romanticized flophouses and drug dealers calling him an "alchemist". Would've been a much better story if Jackson and Gillian got shot and killed for breaking into the car in the beginning.
Man, ive never been so entertained on UA-cam. You're freaking amazing guy!! You and the rest of the podcast, and narrators!! You TRULY are gifted at what you do! MORE! 😍😍😍😱😱😈👌👍👏👏👏👏
OMG. Thank god I hadn’t had breakfast before I heard the first story. I kid you not I nearly skipped over the rest of the story when I got half way. It took all of my courage to carry on listening. I have an extremely sensitive stomach and I felt as though I had a thousand butterflies flying around in it.
Home really blew me away. Thought I knew where story was going the whole time. Ending was awesome! Didn't see any of it coming. Best part was the end twist was so brief it almost confused you. Going to look for of this person's stories.

I"ve heard the first story before and it still terrifies me honestly. Just the way it's written is just incredible. The narration on these is amazing as always. Also huge fan of Otis and their narrations as well. All of these stories are pretty solid and terrifying honestly.

Is it weird that this is one of my favorite podcast /UA-cam channels to fall asleep to? Do other people do this too? I can’t get enough
Emily McDonald nope not at all, I also like to listen to these while falling asleep, they are very very relaxing. You are definitely not alone.

I do it all the time. Although, that first story tends to make me more nauseous than sleepy. But other than that, yes.
Emily McDonald I listen to these when I need to relax or even sleep at night
Emily McDonald I fall asleep, then wake up angry that I missed the story so I rewind.
Holy crap the realization
In the first story was such a twist
Amazing, creepyass twist.
This channel has one of the most brilliant styles of narrating I have discovered.

Living it is worse than watching it from the 'friends' side, believe me.
I really liked Gillian. Dark as hell, sad and I felt sorry for Jackson. Awesome.
