He was on 90k a year at Arsenal, I can imagine him being on 3 or 4 times that at Chelsea. It's a poor career decision but financially it's a good decision for him, football is a short career, you need to make as much money as possible before it ends. It's a shame but that's life, and football

@@afccapetown2726 I couldn't agree more but perhaps his circumstances are different to Dele Ali's, maybe he has a poor family and he just needs the money. 90k isn't a lot of money if your trying to take care of your whole family and maybe Chelsea could give him the funds he needs to take care of them....you know. Arsenal didn't put up much of a fight to keep him apparently, the arrival of marquinhos pushed Hutchinson aside. I'm an Arsenal fan and I would have just offered him more money and a loan somewhere but clearly he was keen to leave for whatever reason.
