The man always had such singable bass lines. I wouldn't classify this as 'funny'. Just 'fun'.
Always been one of my favourites to play. Love this song; the Beatles did 'kid's' songs with real joie de vivre. Yellow submarine the same.

I don't think anyone really knows for sure but wasn't this played by George on the Fender VI? Anyways, whoever played it doesn't matter, it's still a great bass line and this is a great transcription of it
