Thanks for your comments. Unfortunately I haven't done much to my Myford Super 7 for over a year. This was always going to be a long term project for me. As you will be aware there is a lot of work involved. I'm stripping everything back to bare metal and exposing a lot of the factory filler. I want to make the Lathe look as good as it can. There eventually will be more videos as I regain inspiration. I also watch other peoples Myford rebuild videos which inspires me to get back to mine. Have you watched Geoffrey Crokers videos, he is fantastic. Cheers

I doubt you lack inspiration - rather I tend to find with projects such as these that available time and competing priorities are the real "brakes" on progress - and the weather here in UK! I have been doing similar in terms of preparation and have been videoing my efforts primarily as a means of understanding how to reassemble what Ive disassembled!! Myford’s exploded diagrams on their website are useful but of course don’t include any of the “how to” for the aspiring restorer. Beachcomber Bob's Super 7 videos are very helpful if you’ve not seen them. I have indeed seen Geoffrey Croker‘s videos and enjoyed enormously his content both in terms of subject matter and wit! He is indeed fantastic and his latest video is particularly humorous!
@@alpacker2955 I agree with everything you have said although I can't use the weather here in Oz as an excuse. Yes I have indeed seen Beachcomer Bob's videos and I also find them very useful. Cheers
Hi Mark I'm using Machinery Grey Epoxy Enamel gloss paint with a hardener added to the mix. Ha Ha Saw your previous comment about the Temperature and you are dead right I've gone soft in my old age. Been in Oz too long Cheers
