LOL as if this is hard to see. Of course they run in parallel. The wire for the home made speaker is just clamped to the terminals of my normal subwoofer.
Hey there, Just wanted to say nice DIY sub. Also your English is good. Never be ashamed of trying to speak another language that is not your native language. Most of the haters who speak English will never speak another language. Be proud...
Hi im from 2020! That looks pretty well built for a woofer. i'm designing a 12" woofer with a paper surround and a cardboard cone. It also has a minimonster .75 inch coil. This woofer could do with some tune-ups tho if you still have it after 10 years of uploading this video.
The make-belief, lie (all Satanic deception) that we live on this round-ball that is floating, spinning, orbiting and traveling in the airless "empty-space" vacuum is all generation/animation produced into fake imaging and then falsely broadcasted to mind-wash/brain-indoctrinate the usual public sheeple on television or tell-a-vision via Universal Studios/Hollywood! ua-cam.com/video/S9i97_K9Sx8/v-deo.html The sextant is irrefutable proof the World is clearly level (flat)! Lighthouses, periscopes, sundials, long-range lasers, levelers, prove the World IS indeed level! None of the items that I listed can even remotely work at all on the non-existent, make-believe, fish-cam taken, image generation created: "magical, unexplainable, floating, spinning, orbiting, and traveling "Ball-Earth" in the allegedly mostly airless, empty vacuum of "Space"! ua-cam.com/video/Gxcup5Jxido/v-deo.html
@marcmdm1981 The duct tape works well but you need many many small stripes. I made the former out of two cardboard tubes. I cut on of them into stripes and use those stripes to extend the other tube to 2" diameter. Its hard to do that because the former needs to be perfectly round. Otherwise it scratches on the core or magnet.
man that thing is beatin! it's hitting the lows very good......i wonder how that thing would do in a t-line...get you a flat carbon or paper circle cap and a nice high roll 6" or 8" surround and CA it the wood...that would be sick
Only reason you hear some bass is because the sub next to it a subwoofer out of a box doesn't put out bass just some sounds waves so the only reason it "hits hard" is because the sub that's IN A BOX next to it is making the bass. MYTH BUSTED
You should get a frame from Sundown audio and build ur own subs. Very cool how you can build something out of nothing and made it work. Even if it sound like crap, the point of engineering something is a plus..
Looking good. I didn't think of strapping up the rubber bands on the thread-all (bolts) Does the duct tape work well for the surround? And 1 more thing how are you making your voice coil formers? Send me a message if you didnt want to reply here. Keep it up and maybe you and me and come up with something crazy
There is an iron core inside the coil. The coil moves freely in a very narrow gap between the ferrite magnet rings and the core (about 3mm). The iron core and the ferrite magnet rings are both attached to the back plate which is one of the 2 pole plates.
SPLFISH Thank you very much. This is the most efficient way of creating the magnetic flux across the voice coil. Excellent! I have seen some other videos where there is no inner pole piece. The coil is around the inner ring of the magnet. I bet the motor would be much weaker then.
It sure does hit hard. One of my favorite DIY homemade subwoofer.
Oh man... U will make some beast hairtricks with that homemade sub u got there.
Nice work, very impressive. Some day, I might have to attempt making my own.
any one else realize the sub beside it is moving too
LOL as if this is hard to see. Of course they run in parallel. The wire for the home made speaker is just clamped to the terminals of my normal subwoofer.
Yes me!
SPLFISH you where worried that your home made woofer wasn't bassy enough ?
+Justin bob he was comparing it duh he said in the begining
I did
Damn dude, great job, thats a giant magnet for that tiny thing, but hey you made it work.
i had a hard enough time buying and installing a premade subwoofer!
lmao and u built ur own :) i am impressed
man that little thing moves, but it's just how it sounds (does sound like a sowing machine)
genious.Love it.I used to experiment with things like this all the time.lol.Im also kind of a mad scientist myself.Good job my friend.
sounds like a sewing machine. It that what you were aiming for ?
+Carl Rudd lol:D
:)...... just kidding. It's fun.
+Carl Rudd I had the same thing in my mind which made me laugh while watching the video

Nice job dude, just one thing tough. i think you should measure the surround and buy one because duck tape isn't the best thing
yeaah, this is nice work, mate! I think it's really cool ...technical performance is really good

That Subwoofer Is Sick!
DAM! THATS PRETTY IMPRESSIVE! Try making a 12inch subwoofer
wow, echt der wahnsinn! Das pumpt ordentlich!
You did great job bro forget what any hater got to say 🙌🏼🙏👍🏽
thats impressive design and outcome
I bet it would sound good in a box

thats kick ass props on that dude..
Wow hätte niemals gedacht das der so gut abgeht ^^
wow that actually looks pretty neat lol. but seriously thats awesome

wieder fleissig gebastelt, schönes projekt für nebenbei ;)

thats crazy man, good work!!!!!!!
Dude Your English is good!
That small Is beast as hell love that ! :)
Awesome bro! Well done...
Nice art man
did you build a re cone kit for when you blow it up???
Only reason you hear some bass is because the sub next to it a subwoofer out of a box doesn't put out bass just some sounds waves so the only reason it "hits hard" is because the sub that's IN A BOX next to it is making the bass. MYTH BUSTED
dude thats pretty sick!
Glade to see there others that do what I sometimes like to do
Ddaaaaaanng dude that's awesome better than mine because my homemade sub blew
Damn dude nice! Looks like it needs a larger surround though!
You should get a frame from Sundown audio and build ur own subs. Very cool how you can build something out of nothing and made it work. Even if it sound like crap, the point of engineering something is a plus..
well yea any sub is going to sound crap without a basket, enclosure and cone :P
it flexes well
you speak very good english, good job by the way
Hay man not bad on the English also nice exertion put it in a box and see what she will do good job give u too thumbs up nice job
Thats pretty neat, and that was your first time speaking english? Fooled me
Gangsta shits nice I give u props
What's the song
Good job that's epic
that sub sounds deep!
Toll! Bin beeindruckt.
That truly is epic :D
at first i was like: ...
then i was like; LOL WTF ROFLCOPTER OMFG WHAT A HERO
interesting design!
Aba cool gemacht ;D
I love German accents. Good English!
dam bro that is slappin
Genius bro
freaking mint. Now make a box and Term lab it.
That's sick
hey man very nice work there.
where did you find the info on how to build the sub? I WANT TO TRY!!!!!!l lol
this is amazing :O
@SPLfish88 right on man!!!! thanks!!!!
Welchen song brauchst du? Finde nur slowed versionen!
omg it hits so hard it makes the sub next to it flex :S
@guitarDouchebaggery Danke. Sowas kommt dabei raus wenn man nicht weiß was man mit seiner Zeit anfangen soll ^^.
@snakev10v5 Yes but it sounds easier than it is. Its difficult to get a perfect round shape that doesnt scratch the magnet.
Dang thats awesome
Looking good. I didn't think of strapping up the rubber bands on the thread-all (bolts)

Keep it up and maybe you and me and come up with something crazy
@iintro79 Its a magnat from an old Toxic woofer.
look out steve meade. this bad boy will do some.bad ass hairtricks.
@lolPantsProductions Both. They are running in parallel in this vid.
woe thats pretty sick solfish88 good job :] but whats the song called?
hey man, it may look bad right now, but i see it as being creative. a few more tweaks and a solid casket for that thing and it could be banging :P
that lil thing packs a punch ignoring they yellow sub
@osthyvel100 I think it was some Pattex universal adhesive.
Really cool
@twistedchild420 No you are the man! :D Thanks.
@warmaster5128 Sound pressure level. Its the way you messure loudness.
geile sache!
wäre mal interessant das ding alleien zu hören, klingt der wirklich? :D
und wo hattest du den magneten her?
Sehr geil digger:) was hast du für nen audio system sub drin?
@SPLfish88 I tryed that, is it just the coil round a card tube?
@SPLfish88 BUT, if they do run in parallel, you dont hear the sound from the actual speaker
THATS SOO COOL
@jfo420 Haha it was fun to build it ^^.
@MastizUT3 Its 300€ new. Which Ground zero do you have?
@andythewooferguy Thanks. I think i sound kinda strange thats why i wrote that in the video.
gotta love the trolls lol ... have you seen my newest custom made subwoofer ?
Is your home made speaker the one making the sound or is it the woofer next to it?
THAT EXCURSION THO
@BENBOOST9
LOL
WOW you are a true genius xD
Maybe because they run in parallel.
Hi SPLFISH, is there an iron pole piece inside the voice coil, or is it hollow?
There is an iron core inside the coil. The coil moves freely in a very narrow gap between the ferrite magnet rings and the core (about 3mm). The iron core and the ferrite magnet rings are both attached to the back plate which is one of the 2 pole plates.
SPLFISH Thank you very much. This is the most efficient way of creating the magnetic flux across the voice coil. Excellent! I have seen some other videos where there is no inner pole piece. The coil is around the inner ring of the magnet. I bet the motor would be much weaker then.
The wonders of duct tape.
time to build a nice little box, an try to get some flex of it haha
What did you use for the former and what kind of wire is that?
Very impressive! Whats the first song?
Your english is quite good anyways... cool project!
Vary nice... Good vid
@07Deadsoul I havent build a box for it yet. But i will.
one cable to the magnet and another one to the voice coil?
you can buy foam woofer surrounds online...you could use that instead of that tape and mke it much better
Ay you English is good . You should put that sub in a box
@NcHalfrican Its a custom bass track made by my buddy geilewutz. I added the download link to the video info. Check it out!
Whar camera you using my speakers bouncing like crazy what song is it
