Thank you very much sir for your reply actually I am also an electric bike repairing mechanic so I have a hub motor i scooty for sensor problem so when I put the sensor in it unique polar 44 e now the motor started jerking. No, one of its center sensor was saved, the rest was broken, so when I checked it, what is its function, South Full North. What does rotating the full magnet do? I found out that now the bipolar sensor will be installed in the motor. Then I put 41 F and activated it. Now the story will be long. Thanks for your reply

Hello sir, some of hub motor the middle one of hall sensor is downward and the other also is upward. So before you remove the hall sensor check first and notice the correct placement to avoid errors.

Hello sir. Yes can be like this method. But befor you remove the hall sensors check first the color of sensor wire yellow-green-blue or you can take picture so you not mistake.

Awesome video, My bikes wire got cut where it enters through the axle. What is the name of that wire . I can't find it anywhere online . I know its the hall sensor and phase wires and i can find the part that connects to the controller but i can't find the part that actually goes through the axle..

Can you get rid of the hall sensors and bypass the cables on the 48v brushless motor? If yes how can you bypass the wires? Does the yellow and red will be joined together? also the blue and red and the green and red. And all 3 black cables together. Does the motor work without the sensors?
are hall sensor problems always noisy when it is not working? reason I ask is both motors cut out on my dual hub scooter. It happens when on hot day and full throttle. there is no strange noises or wierd sounds. All power is gone. this just happens when in dual mode, when just in single mode with rear wheel, I have no problem. Please help. thank you.
Hello, if noisy some problem is the controller, but mostly if noisy is because of hall sensors. Check also the hall sensors if install properly. Check also the alignment of magnet and hall sensor. If hall sensors far from the magnet also cause nof noisy.
@@ricodaray thank you!!! This is so helpful. but i forgot to say when typing my question that mine is not noisy. So what does no noisy tell you? what could that mean? So logic says its probably not a hall sensor. But I'm confused about the controller. because when i see videos most people talk of controllers burning up and not working at all, all of a sudden and then broken and need to be repaired or replaced. I do not see any videos with my problem happening that i can find where it cuts off with no noise and then works again when i let throttle go back to nothing. I do not need to turn off the power or the key or do anything like that. but my problem is only on a hot day and when Im trying to do full throttle and then the motors cut off, with no noise, and no power. then if I bring the thumb throttle back all the way to 0 the motors work again if i am gentle. I can get 3/4 throttle and go 25mph (38kph) but i cannot make the full speed i otherwise used to make. about 33mph or 53kpph, but i cannot do that when it is hot outside or both motors shut off. If a battery overheated the bms shuts down then I think it would take time to cool off, but my scooter keeps going and take no time to reset by simply letting the throttle return all the way to 0 current. if I take easy on speed or if i only use rear motor on single drive setting there is no shut down and the scooter can get me home on dual drive. BUT if i try to go very fast in dual mode this problem will happen, only on hotter weather days. it is quiet with no strange abnormal noises. How do i know if it is controller or problem with battery or bms? What does no noise mean? THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!
about to do the same to a almost new ebike , BUT one of my hall sensors are turning - what i think - the wrong way ! the other directions of the 2 others . the one i got in the middle has the ....smallest surface turning against the axl if you know what i mean . have you ever seen that or do you as i - think that has always made the bike run strange !

At 7:00 Min I question when the stator windings get hot if the electrical tape adhesive will melt and loosen? I might suggest using small heat shrink tubing over each hall sensor lead, and/or potting them in high-temp silicone RTV. Also, once apart, cleaning and painting the insides of the motor housing and painting them with flat black corrosion inhibiting paint is supposed to improve heat transfer, and I might suggest 'first-timers' be carfule not to damage the windings with sandpaper. Some advocate also coating the magnets and and windings with paint like protective electric motor compound to prevent corrosion but non-conductive, non-Lithium base grease might be help to prevent corrosion too. BTW, have you tried using automatic transmission fluid or Ferro-magnetic fluid inside the motor to improve cooling and inhibit corrosion and rust? I see it used in several videos, but question if that could cause shorting issues with the Hall sensors?

Pag namamatay yung ebike walang kinalaman ang hall sensor po. Kung OK naman battery mo, check mo po yung fuse, breaker kung may breaker, mga terminal at socket baka may maluluwag lang kaya namamatay.

Sir kahi mali mali yung pagka gawa ng hub kahit magka balibaliktad yung mga wirings ng hub di masisira yung controller. Hanapin mo baka may mali sa wiring or nagka baliktad na sockt ng controller or baka may nag dikit na wire.

Hello po. Naka depende yan sa controller. Pagka bukas mo ng motor tatandaan mo agad yung color code. Pero pag nag palit ng ibang controller need e configure para ma hanap mo tamang connection. Trial and error yung gagawin like balibaliktarin lang yung wire ng hall sensor para ma kuha yung tama

The 3 phase wire is for high current. And the hall sensor is to controll the rotation of the motor

Hello sir. Yes some of motor hall sensor are opposite position in the middle. That is why we need to check first before we remove the old one so we can replace in a same way

Hello. Yes can be. But the yellow blue green wire are not same. You need trial and error testing to find out the correct combination.

Sir, after change all three sensors, the motor make buzzing sound at starting...when going fast, the buzzing sound become slower. Is that because of new hall sensor didn't match the original one?

Pag namamatay yung ebike walang kinalaman ang hall sensor po. Kung OK naman battery mo, check mo po yung fuse, breaker kung may breaker, mga terminal at socket baka may maluluwag lang kaya namamatay.

Sir kahi mali mali yung pagka gawa ng hub kahit magka balibaliktad yung mga wirings ng hub di masisira yung controller. Hanapin mo baka may mali sa wiring or nagka baliktad na sockt ng controller or baka may nag dikit na wire.

Most of BLDC motor have 5 wirea red, black yellow green amd blue. If there's another extra wire better ask the seller for what purpose is that.

Hello po. Naka depende yan sa controller. Pagka bukas mo ng motor tatandaan mo agad yung color code. Pero pag nag palit ng ibang controller need e configure para ma hanap mo tamang connection. Trial and error yung gagawin like balibaliktarin lang yung wire ng hall sensor para ma kuha yung tama

Maybe the brakes need cleaning, the bearing not good, hall sensor have problem.some joints need grease or lubrication.

Hello po sir. Dapat same lang yung voltage kasi isa lang source nila galing sa controller. Baka sa wire lang may problima. Pero try mo paandarin kung gagana sir.
