After watching a couple videos and seeing the layout of this man's channel, I have determined that he has THE FORMULA. My friend if you continue with this quality content and watch some highly followed films you will be a huge reactor in no time at all. Love your stuff, keep on moving!
Much, much appreciated. Glad you enjoy and we def have some major films coming for the foreseeable future.
My man, you're doing so well may I suggest films like:
Interstellar
The Green Mile
Shawshank Redemption
The Marvel Series (literally all of them)
Lord of the Rings
Harry Potter
And maybe one of the best tv series I've ever seen, Ted Lasso, what a show that is, I think that you'd truly enjoy that
@@Mikeyw9119 I’m glad you been enjoying the videos and thank you for the compliment. I’ve already seen Harry Potter and the Marvel movies. I still have to watch moon knight and dr strange 2 but those will be for the channel
"The Riddler related to Jigsaw, ain`t he?"Funny that you should mention that, Jigsaw basically stole Riddler`s gimmick, made it way more hardcore, in this film Riddler basically stole it back like the narcissistic know-it-all he is.
There are SO many moments in The Batman that play like something straight out of the comics. Down to many shots being framed like perfect comic panels. I love how Batman just doesn't talk at all, to most people. All his interactions with Martinez are great. haha
7:05, it’s Halloween and they thought he was just someone in a costume but when he beats the shit out of that guy they now actually know it’s him and that’s why one of them says “It’s really him” something like that.
*wingsuit landing goes wrong*
"...Batman died." LMFAOOO
Lol they was suppose to find out who Batman was that day when they put him in the body bag
"This Batman a thug" LMAO he really out in the streets
He out in the streets with no curfew
*Stops and looks at the camera...
"That was dope as fuck"
Had me howling throughout this video 🤣 great reaction dude!
Glad you enjoyed, and hope you enjoy the rest!
I was having major fanboy moments 🤣🤣🤣.
"These are two psychopaths having a conversation." Yep, pretty much.
@26:30, I think this is the first modern Batman movie in which he kept his identity secret.
In pretty much all of the previous movies somebody finds out he is Bruce Wayne. I’m glad they didn’t have him unmask for Catwoman.
Maybe in a future movie, this incarnation will share his identity with someone beyond Alfred.
Yeah most Batmen will be like I think you’re hot here is my secret identity
Never get into a hallway fight with a Skywalker, a Murdock or a Wayne. 😂
To be fair, in the old comics, and the '60s TV series, Batman is more of a detective.
I really liked the Easter-eggs in this film, like the mayor's son in the ninja costume, nodding to "Batman Begins," and there are others, I just can't recall them.
There's a deleted scene on UA-cam, where Batman talks to the newest Joker in Arkham. I recognized the new Joker at the end of the film, by his hair.
And the costume was RED like a Robin.
Your reactions made me laugh several times. I’m glad I found this channel!
Welcome to the family!
I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Stick around I’m sure you going to laugh a whole lot more lol
Agreed I'm glad I only missed it by a month or so but this is quickly becoming my favorite reaction channel.
@@lostopportunity4701 that’s means a lot to hear that
I love how Pattinson basically doesn’t even put on a Batman voice😂, I’m glad he didn’t, he sometimes has hints of the bale voice but for the most part it’s just bruce Wayne talking lol
I dunno...he's definitely keeping it to a raspy whisper as Batman. When his call finally gets through, too late to stop Alfred getting blown up a bit, Bruce uses his regular voice, while in the suit, and it's super weird. haha I mean, obviously, he's talking to his housekeeper, as Bruce, so it makes sense, but it really stands out from his Batman voice, which is kinda like what Keaton did.
@@jamesoblivion yeah I see what you mean, but honestly even with the raspy whisper I’m not sure how people don’t recognize his voice cause at least to me they sound extremely similar lol, like at the club he had just beat that door guys ass as Batman, then comes back as Bruce and basically sounds the exact same because he’s trying to keep a low profile lol, I do like his Batman voice a lot though he treds the line toward “bat metal” well😂
@@saucygoat8287 Lol. I think it's the total cognitive disconnect they have between the insular, introverted, reclusive, somewhat meek-looking Bruce, versus somebody hench, confident & self-assured enough to step out in a batsuit, fight criminals & win. His so-called "emo" persona is just as much an effective disguise as the billionaire playboy.
i mean technically he is cause he's got a british accent irl right? i think he differentiated a bit between batman voice and bruce wayne voice, but just not to the "christian bale" extent. im pretty sure bale talked about how the voice would occasionally strain his throat and cause problems when filming lol as a vocal teacher i can tell you its not healthy to be putting that voice on for an extended period of time. its best for rob patts voice that he doesnt over do it!
@@saucygoat8287 probably because he’s a recluse who doesn’t talk to anybody as Bruce (besides Alfred.) no one would know what Bruce sounds like because he’s not around. He’s not a public figure (yet.)
There's a deleted scene where The Batman goes to Arkham and talks to Joker... (Gave me a real "Silence of the Lambs" vibe.)
But it also shows that The Batman and Joker have already battled it out. Pretty sure thats why he's in Arkham.
I wish i was that dog🥲so much caring😂🥰
*40:11** LOL! 🤣😂. That was really funny. The shot's impact was high. Great video.*
It knocked all the Bruce that was left in Batman out lol
@@J_EOMReacts Ikr. 😂😆
Bro, this reaction is hilarious 😆
Lol I’m glad you enjoyed it
BatJ...defender of letting sleeping dogs lie.
No need to investigate under those covers, this riddle is solved, Commissioner.
Side Note- When Batbruce gets laid out with the shotgun, I am pretty sure he takes a fat shot of epinephrine (bee sting adrenaline) or atropine (military, which we used & would make sense for Batman to have for emergency use). Takes about 20 whole seconds to hit and you are hopping up like Dracula out of a coffin running the ball down the field. You can hear colors & see sounds, friends. You can see the future! Get the wobbly spaghetti leg shakes after. It don't last long, and when you crash...you crash.
A super solid Batman movie.
Pattinson did a heckuva job as did Jeff Wright.
Kid doing Riddler did outstanding work.
Really got down to Batvestigating crimes & vigilantism.
I like that Battinson doesn't do much talking or explaining.
Batman 1989 and Batman Returns in my book are the best Batman movies ever to grace the screen . Michael Keaton,Jack Nicholson ,Michelle Pfeiffer and Danny Devito can never be topped or beat they are the best portraits of those characters. 🙂
This is a young an inexperienced Batman realizing he can't just be the face of vengence. He sees his enemy's goon exclamation that he is vengence, and Batman realizes he has to be more. Yes, he is a symbol of vengence and darkness and all the scary things for the criminals of Gotham. But he also has to be a symbol of hope and goodness for the good people of Gotham. Just like Nolan's Batman, he has to be whatever Gotham needs him to be. And in this moment, Gotham needs him to be a symbol of hope and goodness.
Batman and Bruce Wayne don't talk to many people. The only difference between this and Keatons portrayal is that Keaton spoke more as Bruce. The comics portray Bruce and Batman as mostly the same person. Few words. Bale couldn't shut up as Batman. Always with the dialogue.
For a change of pace, I think you would appreciate a movie called “Silverado”, it’s a western with a great sense of humor and an amazing cast! One of my favorite movies of all time!
That cast is amazing for sure, and I’ll definitely add it if JL hasn’t seen it.
The mixed martial artist in the armored batsuit rolls to the club, and the twins square up like he's not a problem. The pasty, wet billionaire shows up at the door and the twins react like he's something to worry about. Social commentary, right there.
OMG! You are hilarious! Loved your reaction, & this movie.😊
Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed the video
@40:10, my man bust out laughin like The Joker when Bats takes that shotty shot lol
Every performance is just a work of majesty in this. Pattinson, Kravitz, Dano, Farrell, Wright. It’s just… amazing. That (blank) is amazing.
I love how he barely uses any gadgets too. Plus Pattinson is hands down the most brutal movie batman. I was so skeptical when I heard he was gonna be batman but after watching some of his other recent movies he has really grown into a fantastic actor. You should check out the lighthouse with him and Willem Dafoe to see what I mean.
Lighthouse is 100% on our list.
I'm pretty sure I'm not the first to say this: he is a great Batman, but not a very good Bruce Wayne.
@@NoActuallyGo-KCUF-Yourself I think that part will come. I think this movie was in part him learning the importance of the Bruce Wayne persona and how to use it.
I think we see him utilize the Bruce Wayne mask more as we go.
@@NoActuallyGo-KCUF-Yourself bro... I have to agree yet disagree. He ain't a great batman, though he was. And he was more of an angsty Bruce W? ? ayne which he was. I mean disrespecting Alfred until he blew up? I agree with you this ain't peak batman. However.... The filming all 4 the batman movies back to back to back........ To back simultaneously. Respect is due where respect is earned. And I think we all need to get off twilights bashing. The lighthouse showed the way for Bruce Wayne to just talk normal. Because christian bales representation was .... .. .......... .........
Yeah, this is like, early Batman. Back when he worked more with others other then the justice league, before he had a robin. Where he did a lot more detective work. A lot of us like calling him detective Batman. Which is my favorite version of him. Loved the reaction.
Batman is that dude. I can’t wait until the next one
Enemy Mine........with Dennis Quaid and Louis Gosset Jr, Mask....with Cher and Eric Stoltz, Arthur.....with Dudley Moore and Liza Minnelli Rainman....Dustin Hoffman and Tom Cruise, The Eyes of Laura Mars.....with Faye Dunnaway and Tommy Lee Jones, are all movies that NEED watched!!!
I’ll have to double check for most of those, but I know for sure Rain Man is in the plans pretty soon.
In the comics, they made a fictional drug called Drops, where you just get high off drugs in your eyedrops
The Drops made me think of Looper.
I wish I could leave another like, you're hilarious
Lol I truly appreciate that. Glad you enjoyed the video
I really enjoyed The Batman. Might be one of my top Bat-flicks.
I especially love how no one really questions the suit because everyone just looks at him like a crazy person. Because of course he is. The movie is well aware of how ridiculous the concept is and runs with that.
And there's a lot of good humor mixed in - thumb drives, squirrel suit mishaps, etc. Lotta good stuff to love, and I hope Matt Reeves keeps the series going.
Riddler's whole schtick, when we see him in films or TV, and presumably in the comics, is a love of riddles and puns; this was a great modernized depiction of his sense of humour.
I loved this "Batmobile," as a more grounded vehicle than the various versions we've seen before, but the wing-suit was a bit cringe-y for me, as used to the "bat-capes" as I am.
I also wasn't a huge fan of Emo Bruce Wayne. He reminded me of Peter Parker in Spiderman 3.
Some people say there's no humor in it. Obviously, the humor is underplayed in it, and there's quite a lot. Like the banter between Batman and Catwoman. Penguin is funny. Even very dark humor, like when the Riddler signs off the first time with "Goodbye". Cannot help chuckle at that line, and I know it's wrong because he's just a twisted person. Then when Riddler thanks his followers in his normal voice. That's humorous too. So many moments between Batman and Gordon. The humor suits the style of the movie.
@@concertinamadrigals4058 I looked at this movie as him having the building blocks of everything. The wingsuit will become just the cape for more control and when you see the batcave before the batmobile shows up you can see it being built in the background.
Loved the movie - saw it several times in theaters. Glad I found your reaction!!! Sad you didn’t see it in theaters tho. The sound in theaters was insane - especially the car chase.
I can’t wait to see where they go next with the sequel(s).
Great reaction/review!!
I’m glad you enjoy the video and my editor said the same exact thing to me about the car chase in the theater. He said it was beautiful
Only 11 min in and loving this reaction, new sub
Glad you enjoyed the video and welcome to the family
Catwoman: Has daddy issues.
Batman: Awwww shiiiit!!
Too me this is the most accurate of Gotham city and I loved the Nolan films but this is one of the best Batman movies ever
21:19😭😭😭😭
YOUR BATMAN ....
DOGS ROBIN .....
Get Warner Bros on the phone right now and pitch that. We need to make that happen lol
This movie was 96% night and rain.
I had to shut all the shutters, curtains, drapes, shades, and blinds. Make sure there was no light reflecting on the tv.
I couldn’t see shit 😂
10:53 cool that they made PrintWorks (in london) the venue for the underground club in Gotham. dope venue
THERE IS NO WAY....that car can pass an emission test!
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Your next action movie should be 'The Last Boy Scout' with Damon Wayans & Bruce Willis.
Bro I absolutely love your dog 🤩🐕
I appreciate that
5:05 the beginning dialogue and tone in this film sounds like it was inspired by Watchmen.
14:33 Does Gotham have Uber? Man I'd be reluctant to get in an official taxi let alone some freelancer's personal vehicle. That's how you end up in the landfill.
Fact. “Hot Singles in your Area” ads are more trust worthy then Gotham Ubers.
Lol you right. You are absolutely right
Idk if anybody mentioned this, but colin actually went out in public with his make up on sat in a coffee shop for a bit to see if ppl recognized him. He got a few weird stares. After a while he left.
Lol you can only tell it’s him by his eyes
“Mmm! Mmm! Batman need a hug!” 😂😂😂 LOVE your videos.
I remember the first batman movie that came out on TV in the late 60s it came on at night. I was outside playing it was summer and my dad was on tenant's patrol when his shift was over we went to watch it Can't believe I remember it!
That’s the Adam West one where he is running with the bomb?
Great reaction 🦇🐐
Make sure to check out the rest of the playlist, and stoked you enjoyed it!
I’m glad you enjoyed the video
OMG the "I'm Batman" had me howling my man!
3:51 - "EITHER that's Batman OR it's a Peeping Tom."
What an interesting comment... haha. I've never seen anybody be so wrong and STILL be completely right on the money. XD You're right, that was not Batman. But, uh... this Batman DOES like to watch, if you know what I'm saying.
Lol he was looking a little too long at Catwoman
@@J_EOMReacts
It *was* pretty weird, but it also makes sense. He's not trying to get into her pants, he's doing a stake-out, not jerking off.
Why you hiding??🤣🤣
Batman hides in the shadows lol.
awesome vid my guy, easy sub 👌
Glad you enjoyed it and welcome to the family
The Benny "screw you" death scene with the drill was supposed to be ALOT more gruesome. It had to be cut to get a rated R in theaters.
Just now seeing this reaction to this. Friggin had me laughing the entire time 😂
loved the reaction!
I’m glad you enjoyed it. I truly appreciate it
*what's up, what's up*
You're so entertaining!

“I wonder if Gotham got Uber, do they got Uber?”
Would you drive Uber in Gotham? 🤣
Never. LoL
🤣🤣🤣 to be fair would you drive a taxi in Gotham?
@@J_EOMReacts let’s just agree to not take up any job in Gotham. ESPECIALLY night shift. Hazard pay has to be off the charts

Impossible not to enjoy them, i watched from begining to end and had a great time doing it. Excellent job my brother!!!
I think the way they did the riddler in this. They were trying to copy the zodiac killer
great reaction
Thank you. I’m glad you enjoyed it
good reaction vid cuz!
I appreciate that fam
The actor who plays Alfred also played Gollum in Lord of The Rings
This one was.... fine. Had some good moments, but overall, not bad. 7 out of 10. Rerturns with Keaton is still my favorite Batman movie
Great reaction, but most importantly, I LOVE YOUR PUPPERS!
Glad you enjoyed the video and I appreciate the comment about the pups.
"I bet it stank in there." 😂😂😂
Lol you know it smell like spoiled spam and tuna oil in there
Damn man! That ‘89 Batman shirt isn’t beat down but it’s been through the wash cycle a few million times!😎🤓
🤣🤣🤣 that’s a brand new shirt
Love your reaction. Also your 🐶🐶 are adorable 🥰
Much appreciated!
Thank you and I appreciate you showing my babies some love. Glad you enjoyed the video
Weird Batman fact:
In the original comic series of Batman he quite regularly killed the bad guy he was after.
You know a movie is dope as (blank) when you need to start a “that’s dope as (blank)” counter.
Same reaction brother
Best watch along of The Batman hands down.
dope shirt 🦇
csi batman is what is needed in every movie
I got one question…were you excited to see this? LOL!😎
Very
Mr. Jay, please react to “Den of Thieves.”
I have heard that the second one will have the joker and clayface
Great Batman movie. I keep wondering if this is the trilogy that they will have him take in an orphan to train as Robin. Maybe the kid at the funeral(?) 👍✌
I would love to see a Robin in this world
@@J_EOMReacts Me too! I feel like they set it up with all the 'orphan' references and Wayne Manor being an Orphanage! Plus the way they made Pattison play the character...as if he's Batman and not really Bruce anymore, having a kid would maybe bring him down to Earth more.
This has the skeleton of a 10/10 film, but it has alot of little problems that drag it down to a 7.5 for me the more I think about it. Still like it a lot, but the 2nd half has lots of little issues for me. No single thing is close to terrible...but lots of little script problems, directorial decisions, and pacing issues that chip away at it being a truly great film for me. Still, it some parts of it that are the best Batman stuff ever put on screen too.
@Biggiifool - Man... Just by the way you wrote that comment, I can tell you don´t even understand the BASICS of writing (like how to structure a story in seven points, the difference between concrete and abstract exposition dialogue, etc.). The only "problem" this movie has is entitled couch writers (aka people who like to talk and criticize writing, but who haven´t written A SINGLE THING in their entire life) sharing their opinions online.
@@gabrielp9646 I agree with you 100% percent bro. I just wrote something similar on a channel of one of Mexico´s top critics. Same BS. People referring to "script problems" to justify not liking something that they THINK they could have done better LMAO
What are those?
I'll admit, I was pissed at how rough Bruce was on Alfred. I understand that he's still Baby Bat in this one, but . . . yeah, that took me a bit to get over.
If you haven't seen the "Kickass" movies yet, put them on the list. :)
I haven’t and I will
I wish this took place in the 90s
Is this one not on Patreon? I'm trying to find it & can't. It's late so I should just go to bed lol Was looking forward to watching it with y'all.
We're gonna have to redo that one (which we should have already).
We tried to be smart on that one and have him watch a bootleg copy before it released, so I could edit it and have it up as soon as it became available on digital. But, me being naive, I learned that not all bootlegs have the same frame rate. LoL
Long story short, his reaction and the actual copy of the movie were unsynced by about 6 minutes, which is a LOT. So, sadly, it was impossible to sync his reaction to the film. We learned that day to never use an unofficial copy of a movie again. The one good thing is, of all his reactions, that one had the least cut out that YT didn't see.
Def plan on him doing a rewatch just for Patreon soon, we just haven't had time. But it's not on patreon all because I thought I was smarter than I was, and got humbled really quick over it.

I wonder if Detroit is like this
It’s worse bc they don’t have Batman - J
The only two batmen I think can compete with Robert Pattinson's batman will be Michael Keaton's batman and Ben Affleck's batman cause they're the only hardcore batmen that I seen in movies. And Michael Keaton's batman is even more so cause he kills his villains. Christian Bale's batman is good but he's not all that hardcore cause most of the time he's getting his ass kicked especially in the third one. I'm not even going to count George Clooney and Val kilmer cause their batmen were too campy to me.
Who's crashed out? Lmao
what you mean 'huh'... it's only year 2
You were right, when you said, the Riddler is supposed to be a "nice" criminal.
He surely has a borderline personality disorder but he isn't an unconscionable, murderous psychopath like the Joker, for example.
That might be the little problem, that I have with this movie. 🙂
Lol that makes me super excited for the joker. Whatever movie the Joker in it has to start out with something crazy and I’m here for it
