- Luminites perform a breathtaking rendition of Hurt So Good, in their attempt to win Britain's Got Talent for their final performance. It was originally recorded by Millie Jackson and covered by Susan Cadogan in the mid 70's, with another popular cover in 1995 by Jimmy Somerville.

These guys are great. Loved the first audition. Beatboxing just doesnt really work on its own, but in a band like this, its spot on. I'd like to see a CD.
Really REALLY miss hearing more from them. Should get a petition going to get them back together, although I suppose they'll have to want to do it themselves, can't force them to be able to work together. Did I say I REALLY miss them???
I'm really happy that their image hasn't entirely changed throughout the whole thing. You can't really see them glam up, or let the fame and money get to them. They still just look like a group of kids who are just loving what they do, and I love that

It's to see their improvement from day 1 to the end.
Its so the judges can see the improvement made from the start of the show.
@ andres, dude this version is such an improvement from the one they dd during the auditions where it was jst them and the guitar. now they played a backing track nd it was just a complete and wonderfull production

To prove that they have improved since theyre audition, best way to do that is to let them sing the same song.

Its on the rules of the contest. If you get to the final you have to do the same thing you did at the audition.

Stephanie Nala appeared on the 2014 series of The X Factor with Fleur East; she was evicted on the 2nd live show, also evacuated from Lorraine a day later. Fleur is more of a household name than Steph.

i tend to disagree, the audition song was amazing and it shows the true potential of the group, also if you havnt noticed that this is still a competition after they win they're set for years to come and with record labels etc, so if you think about it this performance was their best and we'll eventually hear a full album which will be just as good with their original music

Has anybody ever won BGT playing same song during finals as they did during auditions? I haven't seen it unless I missed something. I really like this band but, all,I hear are the same 2 songs. Too bad!

Why did they sing the same song as their audition?
Well sometimes finalists think that the piece they performed at their audition is the one that they are most confident on. Finalists often perform previous pieces because they know that piece is a) most popular with viewers and b) more likely to get them votes. For example, do you remember Connie Talbot, the little six year old who came 2nd in the first series of BGT? She performed her audition piece because she knew that Over the Rainbow was very popular with viewers. Amanda Holden was always reduced to tears when she heard Connie sing it.
