Hey there, I am confused about statements like "acting male" etc. When I was a kid (I am cis female) I grew up with boys only and all I wanted to do is do what they boys did (because I thought it was so much more interesting than playing the stereotypical "girl games"). Because that was not accepted by the grown up and the boys I wanted to play with I insisted on getting my hair cut short and dress "like a boy". However, I had no idea about what gender was nor did I ever feel like switching genders. I just wanted to be free to do what was fun. For me there is no "acting like a boy or girl", there never was. So it confuses me when people say things like: I knew I wanted to be boy, because I liked boxing. In short I am confused why stereotypes are used as an argument for being trans or gender fluid? Don't get me wrong, I do not doubt at all that someone "knows" they are in the wrong body etc. but I don't understand what dressing or doing something has to do with it? What does it really feel like to be on the wrong body? Surely, it must be something way more than what you want to wear? Just being curious :)
@@MagicStyleAtelier You're right gender roles have nothing to do with it, feminine men are still men and therefore feminine trans men are also men. Being a masculine woman doesn't make you trans. Stereotypes are used, because often it's experiences that trans people share, they also share them with gender non conforming people, of course. It's hard to explain what gender dysphoria feels like, it can be very suddle like not recognizing yourself in the mirror to wanting to rip your skin off, or just not being able to live a fulfilling life without medical intervention. Mike 06 Actually scientists have re-evaluated their understanding of ‘sex’ chromosomes. Females can have XY without harbouring any male sex characteristics (internally or externally), and these individuals are not classed as intersex. SO... ‘Females’ can be XX or XY. That must mean that a female with XY chromosomes MUST automatically be a man by your logic... Right? Even if she is physically female, has a vagina, a functioning womb and produces female hormones like any other female born person. Shes a man because YOU say shes a man right. Do some research before you try to speak on issues you have no experience/ knowledge in man. Your comment is overused by many ignorant people such as yourself to bash on transgender people and lacks the acknowledgement of modern science.
Jayden Thomas you are right! Thank you Btw be who you are nobody can say hey you you have a boy haircut your a boy. I'm frm and it happens all the time PLEASE be who you are❤🌈

I feel ya so hard! Only the other way around. "Girly" stuff has always been forced on me, I thought I HAD to love dresses and pink and all that shit, so I forced myself to, and got all girly, makeup, pink and fluffy stuff, even as I got older and literally asked for anything BUT. I have begun taking help, I have a MtF friend and we're supporting each other, I am waiting for the "meeting" about my dysphoria. One of the hardest things about coming out is that I am the only AFAB out of 6 grandchildren and I kind of broke both grandma's and mum's hearts as I made them realise what it means. Grandma is more accepting though. I only have my conservative brother in my closest family to come out to, and that scares the hell out of me. He has always hated me as it is for not being "normal". I'm so happy for you how far you have come. You're looking fabulous and I'm proud of you! Keep going strong!!!

Jeremy Lee but to them it’s real! We don’t know what it feels like to be in the wrong body, just because they are uploading there journey onto UA-cam etc doesn’t mean they aren’t genuine, that’s a horrible thing to say being we have no knowledge on what it’s like to feel like that, it’s 2020 everyone should be treated like equals no matter what gender or sexuality etc they are or want to be

@Gary Lee I'm so sorry you feel this way. But I have plenty of professionals in my life that are helping me make changes with my body in a safe manner. Also, this kind of stuff has been scientifically proven. If science is also a delusion than everything else that involves science around you must be false as well. I'm sorry you cant understand that some people are just meant to be like this but good luck with your own life.
@Gary Lee okay but once your past the age of eighteen you can go what you like. I am an adult. My family was destroyed long before I even thought I was trans. I have met plenty of healthy happy trans people who live great and fulfilling lives with their partners and families. There is a bad side to every good thing in life. I can guarentee you that I didnt just walk into a clinic one day and say "I'm trans!" And they just handed me testosterone. I find it most important to include those before photos if you have them. Transitioning is about becoming who you are on the inside, on the outside. Letting it match who you feel you’re supposed to be. And anyone who was trans got unlucky in that department. But being able to transition and show that journey is a part of the name will really help those young and old become themselves for the world.
@Jared Otte If I say she is a woman, it is because she feels and looks like a woman. That means it is. It's just disrespectful that you refer to she as a "thing." How bad do you feel with yourself that you get into someone else's life?
There’s a lot of idiots here. I hope you don’t let them get to your head! You are gorgeous, and you deserve to feel yourself! Anyone who disagrees can go somewhere else with their clown opinions.

As soon as you started wearing feminine clothing and make up you smiled brightened and it made me smile too :)
Omg you were born on the same day as my sister and a day after myself lol I’m so glad you’re happy and being who you are you’re such a beautiful person so Thankyou for blessing us with this 💙
Thanks babe much love back to you xxx
im born on the 28th of feb too!! 😆
This is really heart warming to watch and I wish you the best luck on your journey. Just wanted to let you know that I personally started to read you as way more attractive as soon as you started to express yourself and I hope you feel very beautiful today and every day and hopeful and happy about your present and your future. 💜🏳️🌈
Thank you so so much!! This warms the cockles of my dysphoric, depressed heart. I really needed this. Thank you! Much love back ❤️❤️❤️❤️
I just can’t imagine having to deal with this, life is stressful and confusing as it is already, this would make much harder
How come you pass better than me and I'm a cis girl?
Seriously though, I'm so happy for you.
What is cis girl?
@@no-on9950 that's just it. a girl who was born a girl, fine with being a girl (assigned female at birth) and looks like a woman i guess. cisgender girl. like, some random chick you would just see on the street and wouldnt even question if they were a girl or not.
@@petrichor04_ Thank you
thats a backhanded compliment

You look so much happier in your photos after you began your transition, and your smile is so contagious!! You're absolutely beautiful and I wish you the best in life Ashley!
I just love how throughout the photos you started to smile more and more, that just warmed my heart! From one girl to another, from the same community, I am SO proud of you Ashley! You rock girl! ❤️❤️
ILYSM thank you!! ❤️❤️
REALLY PROUD OF YOU ❤❤❤❤️❤️❤️
I love this with a passion, I'm ftm but I'm horrified of coming out, I'm so glad you had the courage!
Hey, im mtf. Heres the way I come out. I won a prize for a studio makeover, I requested to be a girl for a day an had my parents with me.
Imagine if we could trade for a day

I have not found my identity yet, but most of the times I feel that I am not what I am biologically, I admire you girl!
Follow your dreams love

You can literally see how much more comfortable and happy you look in photos after starting HRT. So proud of you for having the courage to be you! You're gorgeous 😍
Also you really rock those darker shades of lip color ☺️
AHHHHHH IM SO HAPPY FOR YOU!! I love seeing how you get progressively happier and more confident in the pictures and I'm so glad you've come so far! Also btw you look great in any clothing.
So heartwarming to see the joy in your eyes after your transition. I'm very happy for you, Ashley! Thanks for sharing this with the world. Everyone should be allowed to present however they feel most comfortable. ^_^
YOU ARE SOOO BEAUTIFUL, don't let ANYONE, EVER tell you otherwise. I love your look!!! I wish you the best of luck!!!
You're so pretty! I love seeing people transform into the best versions of themselves. Good for you, sweetie!!

Wow, you have a lot of response to HRT. That’s awesome.
Who the hell would like dislike this video? Seriously if you don’t want to watch don’t bother even clicking on it to dislike it! Well done gal 👏🏼

Watching this video, I can see the glow of your real self coming through almost immediately after you started HRT and it warms my heart. I'm a trans guy and I'm very young still, nowhere near my end goal, but videos like this give me hope. It makes me so happy seeing people becoming who they truly are and knowing that one day I'll get there too ❤
You'll get there handsome! 💪🏻❤️
U have such a courage and brave. I wish everyone will follow their dreams without worrying about peoples opinions. U r like a role model for so many humans. I appreciate u
You are such a cutie! I'm ftm and I have my endocrinology appointment next month and they will most likely have me start T soon! I cant wait!!!
!!! congrats my guy! keep us updated on how it goes please! :))
i'm also ftm trans but i'm pre-t and can't come out :/
@Gary Lee I'm so sorry you feel this way.
I've had a long period of therapy plus evaluations by more than one therapist. I can tell you from experience that this is the right choice for me. I'm not here to change your mind. Just to educate you :)
@Gary Lee I'm sure that wont happen but okay. If that's what you think :)
@@thedogrosesystem4746 thanks dude! I surely will keep you updated. I'm so sorry you cant talk to anyone. If you ever need a friend you can talk to me! :)
Thank you so much for posting this. As someone who has been thinking a lot about their identity in the same way you have, seeing someone who is confident enough to share their journey so far is so incredibly inspiring. Thank you! ❤️❤️❤️

I cannot say anything. You're amazing, brave, it really feels good to see you so much happier in your own body! If I were you, I probably wouldn't be brave enough to live my life the way I want - I mean to show everyone my real gender.
Good luck! I wish you so much happiness, you've earned it ☺️

TRANS WOMEN ARE AMAZING! MY LOVE AND RESPECT FOR THEM IS NON STOP !!!!
@@RileyAiC mtf means Male to female. This is her timeline of transforming into a women
Why does this video have 600 dislikes? This is her journey to being happy, and I'm glad she's getting to be happy.

Girl, you are really a strong woman. I feel proud of you.
@Jared Otte If I say she is a woman, it is because she feels and looks like a woman. That means it is. It's just disrespectful that you refer to she as a "thing." How bad do you feel with yourself that you get into someone else's life?
You’re able to rock so many different looks!
It's always fun seeing how much happier people look after coming out and starting to transition.
