We are glad you received it and wish you the best of luck with the Florida weather! If you have any questions about the LT please let us know and we will be happy to help.
Our 12V adaptor is able to output up to 10Amps. If you are looking to run this specific vacuum, one of our larger Power Stations would be a better option. You can call our Customer Service line to find a suitable fit and get any additional questions answered!
Have the original Kodiak and use it for everything. Power outages, corded power tools, air compressor, and now has been the "house" battery for my Tacoma overland build for the past 3 years. In the Tacoma it powers my fridge, diesel heater, charges phones/tablets and charges a secondary smaller 30ah SLA battery bank (which can be disconnected to prioritize) that powers lights, a 12v fan and usb ports. I tried a LiFePo for the smaller unit but 1. can't charge it with the Kodiak and 2. I live in Michigan and without a heater the BMS would shut it down in cold weather. The Kodiak lives in a drawer in the bed and is charged by a 100w panel permanently mounted on the roof or by the trucks on board 400w inverter. This setup gives me unlimited power while camping and has never let me down even when camping for 3 weeks at a time. I've camped in all weather conditions from 110° to 20°. Last year I racked up over 15,000 miles with plenty of those being offroad and the Kodiak didn't skip a beat. I couldn't tell you how many cycles I've put it through because I've never taken it all the way down but when it does start to show some lost capacity I won't hesitate to give another one of your products a shot.
I have the original Kodiak as well. My home is the last house on the grid so our power is jeggie at best. Our little Kodiak is a trooper running anything we need from the refrigerator to the TV a light or the internet. It has never let us down. I'm really sorry they discontinued it.
Some competitor products have the same output but a lower battery capacity or a higher output but they may weigh more. The Kodiak LT has the best balance of everything on the market. We opted to have a 350W inverter AND 350 watt-hours of storage in a PowerStation that only weighs 7.8lbs!
What kind of set up would I need in order to just run a window a/c unit 24/7? I realize that a lot of batteries and solar panels are needed, but what else?
That's a great question! The Flex 1500 is going to be your best bet because you can add batteries and increase the solar charge rate to meet your needs. How many batteries and panels you'll want will depend on how much power your a/c uses and how long you want it to run for. Our support team is very knowledgeable and can help you put together a system that best meets your needs. You can contact them for help at 877-891-2657 or support@inergysolar.com.
Your average a/c window unit is 400 watts (5000btu) running on max cool and max fan. So 24 hours, you would need a total of 9,600 watts (9.6kw). That's a lot of batteries and solar. During hurricanes I run my window unit during the day, only during peak solar times and peak temperatures, and then two box fans at night (100 watt total). I have the flex 1500, two batteries (2140 watts), mppt, and 1200 watt worth of solar panels. This set up works well for me and I am still able to keep my fridge (107watts) plugged in during this time. Just food for thought, hope this helps.
We have had the original Kodiak for 6 years and love it. We take it with us in our Transit camper van and it comes in handy. We also have a Inergy solar panel to plug into it. Will the solar panel that we have plug into the LT ? When should we expect our Kodiak to "die" ? Thank you
There may be a solar adapter than can be created for your current panel! To answer this question and do some troubleshooting for your Kodiak please contact our tech support agents at 1-877-891-2657 Opt. 2 for Tech Support, Monday-Friday from 9-5 MST.
I purchased the Apex with the linx, panels called the silver package. Love the unit and I basically bought it for camping to use with my Bipap machine. I bought a 12V converter for the Resmed and using the humidifier on my Bipap I can run the Apex for close to 8 days before charging it. My mentality when it comes to using the Apex is 12V appliances only. I wished the Kodiak LT came with a cigarette 12V plug. Good luck on this new product.
Although the 12V cigarette port is not built in, the Kodiak LT will come with 5.5mm x 2.1mm to 12V cigarette lighter port adapter that allows for 10A / 12.6V DC power! Feel free to call our customer support team or check out our website for any additional questions about what is included with the LT!
Love love love my Apex! Excellent for my off-grid applications. Right now I'm looking for something like this for portability. I also appreciate your team and your excellent customer service. Sending my email to be an Inergy Insider! Question: what is the warranty on this new unit? Suggestion: I'd love a remote control app to turn the unit on and off and perhaps a timer.
I just received mine today, looking forward to trying it out. Nasty weather is heading my way "Florida" so I may try it sooner than later.

I’m loven my new Flex1500. Just using it on the road in my van for the first time. Performing flawlessly. So happy.
Why wouldn’t it? 😂
I ordered 3 of the LT’s. I can’t wait until it arrives.
Can it run a 12volt vacuum 15amps on the DC Jack's?
Our 12V adaptor is able to output up to 10Amps. If you are looking to run this specific vacuum, one of our larger Power Stations would be a better option. You can call our Customer Service line to find a suitable fit and get any additional questions answered!

Why this model over the competitors in this category ? Apples to apples???

Ok so this little unit is just a 300wt power wise
Our Kodiak LT can actually output 350 Watts!
I love my apex. Hopefully you can make a lighter one in the future.

When will we see some UK plug points/converters for UK plugs on your products and sold over here?
The bluetooth, and wifi is just wasted fluff. It adds to cost and hardly anyone uses it. Way to go you guys.
The Kodiak LT is so cute it’s little. Not gonna lie I had to go for the big one the flex.
Love love love my Apex!

Great question! The Kodiak LT has a two-year warranty
This looks like a great portable power station!
