    Call out sick, and make it a weekend day…lol. The rally stripes on front fender and wheels look good. The stock exhaust sounds good. Also look up Mustang motorcycle seats, less expensive than Corbin
    and I heard real comfortable. Ride safe.

  • @AyaWetts
    @AyaWetts Рік тому +8

    Your bike looks great, and I love those wheels and fender.
    The 1100 makes a good bagger... my 2021 is a bagger since I added a bunch of (not Honda 😬) parts.
    I never had a problem with the seat on short trips, I changed mine out (to Mustang) only because I'll do trips for 2, 3, or sometimes 5 hours at a time, and need something better for my butt than the stock seat. I think what helped mine the most for long trips was an air cushion seat on top though. If I had tried the air cushion first, I may have just stuck with the stock seat.
    I love everything about the bike except chain maintenance needed which affects long trips, and I have to make sure the tension is good before I go, and carry stuff to clean and lube while on the road. I keep wanting to get something that doesn't have a chain, but... you just cannot beat the Rebel 1100, its so great, even if a chain isn't the best idea for long road trips.

    Great video. The dct transmission makes the bike much faster off the lights. You are only using about 20 percent of the power in that bike. It is fast as heck. Don't worry about the highway, you got power for days to not only keep up with, but to pass anything you want to. Please tip your camera back a little more so we can see the road. And please start your camera when you leave your neighborhood, not when you leave your house. I like that the video ended before you got home too. The internet's full of crazy people. I love the bags; the whole bike looks great. I could not believe how light it was when I sat on one. I looked at it three times to make sure it was a 1100. I love the way you are riding. Just mellow, that dct is really serving you well. You will pass out when you see how expensive the Corbin or Mustang seats are. Great seats but darn, that cost. Please just keep enjoying your new Honda. You deserve a great bike and you got yourself one. The way you are riding like a responsible adult, your Honda Rebel 1100T will last you a very long time.

  • @zenzen9131
    @zenzen9131 Рік тому +3

    I've just fitted the t-rex forward pegs kit to my 1100 DCT and they are game changers :) They fit into the existing brackets and you get a new brake lever too. Puts the pegs up to 5" forward which is perfect for me :)

    They still need a larger rebel than the 1100. I am 5'10 and am too big for my 1100. I'd like to see Honda make a rebel 1400-1600 for americans like me and just drop the shadow from their lineup

    At least the bags are a decent size it suits the look of it .
    I think myself that any saddlebags should at least reach your rear wheel frame bolts for the back wheel otherwise they look just stupid and a waste of money . Having no clutch on a bike just does not seem safe to me in an emergency situation .

    How much are payments on this bike. I’ve been thinking about getting a automatic

    • @nicaheat
      @nicaheat  Рік тому

      I guess it all depends on your credit score like when you buy a car. The motorcycle was $10,799.00 they charge you for everything Freight/Setup $1,000 Processing Fee 366 sale tax 119.88 plus vehicle tax because you pay property taxes in Virginia, gap insurance is a must 699 so like at said all depending on your credit score and if you put any money down or trade in my Rebel 300 like I did.

    • @nicaheat

    I don't like that it's governed at 99-100 mph . With 1100 cc engine, I would love at least 130 mph top speed. The rebel 300 top speed is 109 and the rebel 500 top speed is 115 . So why pay more for a slower bike with a larger engine 🤔 yeah it picks up speed faster but hits a brick wall at 100 mph . Not cool .
