Thank you! As soon as you can predict the results you don't even notice the difference in brands. I'm yet to see how these paints do after re wetting/after they dried in the palette.
@nvfineartstudio7296 I use student grade for practice from Schmincke the Akademy watercolors, mind you they are plenty expensive on their own and after reading they are just as lightfast as the Horadam, except they are vegan and don't use Cadmium etc. I did a test and there is not really a noticeable difference between the Horadam and the Akademie as far as color brilliance. The pamphlet said that Horadam are milled finer but really I don't see a significant difference. So for everyday painting or sketchbook I always reach for the Akademie.
Great looking painting! Appreciate your explanation in detail. Would like to go back to painting after 15 years. What are your fees for membership, courses and programs! Thanks for your advice!🤗🤗🤗

Love the brigthness of the meeden paints. !!!! and also so transparent. I dont know if it is because you have used the cerulean blue in the meeden painting and not so in the first one. Great tutorial!!!!!
Loved the simplicity of the scene. It was good to see the difference between your usual materials and the Meeden set and agree that meeden could be a good option for daily practice. Thanks for sharing your expertise/this video.
Perhaps the second painting was better simply because you improved from the first. But as far as the paints they did look vivid and it is great to have an option that is less expensive. Thank you.
Thks for review and yes,why not. Any picture will look great depend on the Artist than the material. I have gift away rom my sister as she do not use a big set of Meedan paint. I will try paper block which is interesting .Water container also look great to have .
Yes, very true. As long as you can predict the result and overcome troubles, you can use any materials, but saying that I was truly pleasantly surprised with Meeden paints. They performed predictably and didn't look chalky as many cheep paints do. Agree with the paper and water container, so far my favorite 👍
Wow this turned out amazing Nina!!! I like the look of these paints!!! I would like to know about the light fastness compared to the more expensive paints! Not that it means a lot! After all this is more of a practice set of paints! Thank you for the awesome video! One last question- will you be doing another painting with these paints?
Thank you Marvin! The light fasteners are great, all at 3 *** (I believe it's 100 years plus ☺️...). The only difference so far is they all, except a few are semi-transparent, but this isn't an issue for me, and I believe it should not be for most. Cobalt blue is for example is semi transparent and cerulean blue is fully opaque and it doesn't matter at all when you paint sky. Sure, yes, definitely, I will do lots more. I'm yet to see how they perform after rewetting them in the wells.

I’m surprised at how beautifully the Meeden performed. Gorgeous sky. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you! Yes, Mee too!
I particularly liked the blues and greens they produced from mixing with yellows.
I think those paints are fine. It's the technique that matters more and the paper.
Absolutely right! 👍
