They have damn near redeemed themselves now after like 6 years but man is it just baffling how they did not get hit with some sort of lawsuit that stuck or some law breaking blantent lies in advertising thing.
Played the game for 18 hours straight (I allocated paid time off to 😂) then returned it for store credit and got 3D dot game hero among other ps3 games.
I think if you were able to make the planet your own sort of like what Fallout 4 has with the mods where you can build your own settlement build defenses to maybe defend yourself against the wild life sort of Minecraft kind of I think it would have been a lot more fun
I played for about 20 hours and within a week I got rid of no man sky and traded it in for Gears of War 4 after you went to the third or fourth Barren world I got tired of the game the guy that created this game he lied to us too much and showed us too much of what was not in the game

IIRC they have barely begun making that game (the CG trailer was released way before they had even hired people to make the game), so there's still plenty of time to fuck it up :)

Thing is, CDPR isn't a publicly traded company. And they publish their own games. This puts them in the Valve-like enviable position of being answerable to no one, so they don't need to work off of anyone else's schedule in terms of development. Very few other companies can boast that.
At least you know they HAVE only just begun making the game. Sean told us about NMS features as if they were already accomplished or at least just needed polishing.
