Robin S. - “Show Me Love” will live forever. Unstoppable floor filler. Absolute house classic. Transcends time and space. The groove is a masterclass, and the vocal performance rightly raises the dead so they may dance again. Now you know the best, forget all the rest. Show us love, Robin. ❤
Wow what a comment. 🤩
Yes back when ppl had to be able to saaang and music /lyrics healed. His facial reactions are gold. I would love to see his reaction to hits like these at full volume like in a club scene. It's a full workout. 🙂
Literally, given that Beyoncé sampled it.
Back when Clubs were where you went for adult fun and could party and dance all night. Fun times.
Ayyyye Robin S!!! Welcome to The 90’s ❤️❤️ The Last Generation Of Great Music
Come on now, Every decade has great and trashy music.
Amen!
im a 90s baby but id argue the early 2ks bad some bangers but nothing like the 90s
@@vita9010 That's kinda true but, there's NO question that something has changed in the music industry since the 90's that's made music less impactful and memorable. I believe 1 reason is that the industry started "aging out" artists. Basically if you aren't 25 or younger they won't play your music. This is STILL true today. Look at all the pop charts and new artists NO ONE IS older than 25-30 years old. They care more about the look or image of the star than their actual talent. That trend started around the beginning of new century 2000's or so. Since then music has been pretty disposable and without substance i.e. pretty awful in general.
Definitely the last decade of great dance music!
'Everybody Everybody ' by Black Box is an absolute must. That came out during the same era as this Robin S. song.
Ride on time!
I was just thinking of that song, the sad thing is Martha Washington sang that song, C&C Music Factory, along with some other songs. They had skinny models lip syncing to her voice as she was a plus size woman. She was part of the duo The Weather Girls... " It's Raining Men".
@@Jilbo2001 What if I told you that Martha Washington wasn't even the first to sing the song? The original artist is a Woman by the name of the Loleatta Halloway!
Marky Mark actually looked her up & SHE'S the one singing on his hit "Good Vibration"
Crazy, huh?
You can really hear where her original song was sampled/stolen from.
ua-cam.com/video/1h6Su3t5Lqs/v-deo.html
What a great memory of the time when everybody hit the dancefloor when the song came up...
Crystal Waters - Gipsy Woman
CeCe Peniston - Finally
The Weather girls - It's raining men
were also classics of that time
What about "100% Pure Love"?
@@javetteyoungblood1833 That's a classic for sure
I would suggest the group "Blackbox" before the "Weather Girls" while I acknowledge that it's a GREAT club classic, it's practically from the Disco Era.
"Show me love" & "Gypsy Woman" & "Finally" were definitely 90's House music essentials.
Can't believe it you playing old school house. This was the lick and when it played in da club everybody was on the floor. Especially the long version. PSS check out Ce Ce Penniston-FINALLY. & WE GOT A LOVE THANG
This song is Classic 🔥🔥🔥🔥...And yes, Beyonce sampled this beat for Break My Soul
i thought her song sounded familiar!!!
Robin S. has another hit called "Love For Love". It was another club banger. It doesn't hit as hard as Show me Love, but it still gets regular rotation on my system.
Love how this opens with such a beat and then that voice❣️ You know it's a banger when Twins are enjoying it nearly 30 years later! Great reaction❣️
"She ain't havin' it." 😆
"I've got the power" by SNAP!
Was such a MONSTER club banger, that it stayed on the Top club charts for well over a year!
People couldn't get enough of it!
Welcome to the world of 90's "House Music" guys!
I loved this period of music so much!
I truly feel sorry for people that didn't get to experience a night out clubbing with friends dancing to these bangers!
It was so special and INCREDIBLY fun!!
I agree with other posters about:
CeCe Peniston "Finally"
Crystal Waters "Gypsy Woman"
Blackbox "Everybody"
Inner City "Big Fun"
Everything but the Girl "Missing"
Tim is feeling that House Music vibe!
It's infectious, give in to it, you will love it!
This song will go down in history. I, feel like dancing but I'm going to play as one of my exercise moves.
This is a treat I haven't heard this for awhile.🕺💃😎
I know me too lol I start hearing it and I am lying down and my feet are moving to the beat of the song automatically
Gwen Guthrie: "Ain't nothing going on but the Rent".
Oh yeah!!!
@@bw4541 Her voice is EPIC!!!
C&C Music Factory “Gonna Make You Sweat” Club Music/House Music
You had so many good club hits - This was high up there. A few others for you that are def club bangers lol - Nightcrawlers - Push the feeling on. Corona - Rhythm of the night. C&C music factory - Gonna make you sweat. Ultra Nate - Free. Snap - Rhythm is a dancer. La Bouche - Be my lover. Moloko - Sing it back. I could go on, there were so many good club songs, these were the rave days lol
I love seeing today’s young generation discovering love for the early-mid 90s club classics. I was a child when these were hitting the air waves, but I still play them to this day. Hope to see you react to more, if you haven’t already.
Some context about this songs is that in the 90s, car audio systems with massive bass speakers were all the rage. If you had one, you needed a few cds in your car where you could pull up and crank that bass to show it off. It was before streaming and all, so you had to choose wisely before you spent $15.99 on that cd. This is one of the songs guys did this with.
And the rich people who had a 5 CD changer in their boot!!! LMAO
The inspiration behind Beyonce's "Break My Soul"! This is a definite bop and Robyn's voice...whew! That house music makes you get up and💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾💃🏾
Taking us back. These dance tracks with a powerful soul singer were the jam. And yes Beyoncé is trying to spark a fresh interest in r&b style dance from the past, hence “Renaissance”. She didn’t directly sample this beat, they just used the same synth presets on the most popular synthesizer from the 90s. More 90s dance club hits, please!
The beginning of the "House Music" era.
Korg m1
Classic house music from the 80s/90s 💃 booyah!! You gotta dance!
Good choice, twins! Early 90s had some great dance songs. This is a real banger!
Bangerr!!!
Who else belts this out when they are alone in the car?!
Omg I been asking for you guys to react to this songgggggg for over 2 years finally this song is still played today🔥🔥🔥🔥
So did I.
I've been asking too!
Especially that 90's House Music vibe!
So, soooo fun!
It’s a great 90s dance song.
Late 80s early 90s dance and house was the best club music ever!!!! Birth of the rave. So many great artists and songs.
Feels So Good ~ Sonique 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Wow great song! Cece Peneston was greatnesses as well keeps you moving non stop.
Love yall! You should react to CeCe Peniston song called Finally!
House music! Takes me back to high school.
Welcome to the world of House Music! Beyonce's album is very house. This song was one of the more popular tracks that made it to radio but there were Deep House cuts too. A lot of the songs you would only hear in the clubs and they were long so they could be all mixed up. Sometimes you would ask the DJ what the song was and he didn't wanna say cause it might be new and he didn't want anyone else to have it lol. Big Fun and Good Life by Inner City are good ones to listen to. My favorite Deep House songs are Masters At Work featuring India - I Can’t Get No Sleep and You used to love me by Ralphi Rosario. Boy was that a time!!! Had to come back and add Follow Me by Ally-Us and Everybody's Free by Rozalla. Positive messages in both.
Follow Me is my favorite house song of all time.
House Music Yeahhh boyeeeee! 💃🏾🎊💃🏾🎊💃🏾🎊💃🏾🎊💃🏾
Absolutely love her voice, amazing. I was ready to fall asleep, then saw you posted. Had to take a listen and now I'm wide awake and dancing in my bed. Like one of the other comments, 90s, last decade of good music
Great dance song! Love it! A blast from the past. 👍😊👏
One Of The #MostSampled🎵Tunes In House/Club Music🎶Mixes...#ActionsSpeakLouderThanWords🤟🏽#Devoted2Self🙂Love💕
This is an absolute classic tune in the uk! ❤️😂
Worldwide! 🌎🌍🌏
Hi twins! This was classic "Club" and "House" music from back in the day which was hugely popular in the nightclubs and party scene. Y'all should definitely check out some more music from this genre. Here are a few suggestions:
"100% Pure love" by Crystal Waters (1994).
"Love Thang" by First Choice (1971).
"Good life" by Inner City (1988).
"Last Night a DJ Saved My Life" by Indeep (1982).
"Got A Love For You" by Jomanda (1990).
"We Got A Love Thang" by Cece Peniston (1992).
Great choice my friends! Brings back some memories, that's for sure. Adore you both and am truly proud of you guys. Sending tons of love and hugs your way. All my best ♥️
Robin S. is the gospel-bred New York singer-songwriter Robin Stone. She originally released "Show Me Love" in 1990 for the small independent label Champion Records. This version is heavy on piano, has some horn riffs, and runs 6:40. Targeted to dance clubs, it had little impact, but in 1992 the Swedish DJ and producer StoneBridge contacted Champion looking for songs to remix. They suggested "Show Me Love," and StoneBridge rejiggered the song with that now-famous synthesizer riff that dominates the mix. Champion released this version as a single and it became a massive international hit, going Top 10 in America and the UK in 1993 and also charting all over Europe.
This song is still a fkn JAM. Always gets me pumped up
i love when the younger generation listens to our generations music. Gen X here!

Well in the heart of The House /Garage scene of the 90s.this was a club classic...... More successful in the UK than the USA. Its still a house classic.
It's been sampled many times and in many dance anthems. Produced in 92 by Stone Bridge. Think her original recording was 1990.Its a CHOOOOOOON! I Love it ❤️

Another dance banger to checkout is "FINALLY" BY CECE PENISTON 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
The album is my big crush of the 90's full of house the definitive colour sound of the 90's but full of soul ballads, as well
Imagine Robin S singing with the Saints, praising The Lord with the blessed voice He bestowed upon her for that exact purpose. Goosebumps!
Wow, I really thought this was gonna be "Show Me Love" by the other artist, Robyn. Lol I already knew this song beforehand and really like it, but, yeah. I wasn't expecting it to be this one lol But you guys should really react to that song and see what you think!
I was thinking of the same...yet OTHER song too, haha but when he said from 1993, I thought no waaaay it's that old, haha. But I forgot all about this jam. Ohhhh the 90s...miss u !!!

This was a big club song! I had the cassette single! 😂
This was on Heardle the other week. I’d forgotten all about this song.
In the UK, we are still shocking out to this on a Friday and Saturday night!
this was from the era of power ballads, so this was a success because of the beat under it - it was played endlessly everywhere you went!
Massive in the U.K. clubs back in the 90 s and remixed and charted numerous times through to the early 2000s
90’s House music reminds me of the club’s on Hollywood Blvd back in the day.
That 90's dance music was dope! This played in the clubs all the time. So many good songs back then. If you haven't listened to it yet, I recommend It Feels So Good by Sonique.
Omg, that song HITS. Sonique is so good. Second this.
My son was born in 1994 and this makes me think of him 💙
