As a former Lotus owner, I take offence at the pronunciation of the Lotus Esprit. The whole video sounds like a used car salesman.

Ditto. I very rarely hear anyone pronounce it with the 't' at the end. Colin Chapman probably turns in his grave when they do, lol.

High school freind had a GT-500 with the same side airscoops, 429 Cobra Jet power plant and shaker hood. I've never seen one like it since. The shaker hood and side scoops (fender and c pillar) being the difference. Question, was his a modified or original?

The 911 was the Porsche that my age group grew up wanting. I had a great uncle who had one of the first to come off the line the second year of the model, or some shtuff like that. I was just old enough to appreciate what it was when he showed it to me. With his graying flat-top and silver fillings. God, I miss being a kid.
