Where would we be without our vehicles? Well, the answer to that question is that we’d probably be making very slow journeys from A to B by horse. Planes, trains and automobiles have made the world a smaller place. Thanks to them, journeys that once took days now take a matter of hours. However, where would our vehicles be without us? They might end up anywhere, as you’re about to find out!

Actually, in the Republic of California, flat car rail cars are currently used as vehicle bridges to cross streams on private property. There is at least one in Solano County, near San Francisco or Sacramento that I personally drove a loaded up Ford Expedition Fire Department Staff vehicle across, followed by 2 Type 3 Fire Engines. While the approach is too tight for a pavement princess fire engine, it did pass scrutiny of the Building Department and the Fire District. A person can not sell or buy land locked property in California, the property owner is happily getting to and from his residence. Respectfully submitted.

🟦 Those railroad-car bridge frames should have been reinforced Twice-Over to serve as a bridge, in actual use it would be supported at two very different points on the chassis Which were the strongest points of support by design, the frames on them weren't made to take being supported by the very ends!

Horses need fed and cared for even when you don't use them. Where you live and work is vastly limited by the cost of and speed of transportation.
