Actual best bars on this album. Aes has consistent quality, and Homeboy Sandman definitely flops on a few tracks... but when he gets a beat that works with his flow? God DAYUM.
Aes is definitely slept on as a producer. Oatmeal Cookies is excellent!

Homeboy Sandman is really good. I saw these two guys live and then purchased Homeboy's album "The Good Sun." His performance sold me, and I already had passed my tener to the sales man when I looked at the track list and saw "featuring John Robinson"!!! (JR of Scienz of Life is a Master of the Craft that far too many are sleeping on; check out his discog and the collab, "the things they carried") Much respect to everyone making this really real-music. If any of you have the chance to see Aesop and Homeboy on stage together live, you should jump right on it; these two are proper Emcees who know how to move the crowd. Free downloads, powerful stage presence, interacting with the heads after the show, etc. these attributes show a dedication to the music. One Love

To be honest, these collaborations with my favorite rapper Homeboy Sandman helped further my respect for Aesop Rock. So much so I gotta add him to my list of favorite rappers. The guy is just unreal with the lyrics.
