- Live At The Marquee is a live concert recorded at London's Marquee club in February 1986. The concert features the band's original members Andy Scott and Mick Tucker. Together with singer Paul Mario Day, bassist Mal McNulty and Phil Lanzon on keyboards, the Sweet performs with its usual skill and intensity, faithfully reproducing all their hits live on stage.

No offense but it's hard to watch without Brian. The original SWEET . When you listen to songs like "the man with the golden arm" and "no you dont" you will understand the underrated musicianship of Andy , Steve and the out of this world Mick Tucker
Iron maiden and that one band that sang ballroom blitz was not a combination I was expecting

Have to be honest, vocals are missing the other two … Brian and Steve and you can hear Andy as original … but this must have been a bloody good night out and Mick is a top drummer
this should have one night at the marquee ended up three guess a lot of people wanted to see sweet.saw brian and his sweet first time he collapsed on stage. and second like the first his voice was shot and his backing a poor imitation of andy mick and steve.sad to see him go that way.this is a great rocking band mal on bass went onto sing with this band and sings in slade now phil lanzon on keys left sweet to join uriah heep.where he still is.and sweet are still rocking

mmm.. Day could sing.but his Gary Glitter/Adam Ant hybrid stage manner really sucks doesnt it?? Recent Action DVD 3 disc set shows that Brian could sing great live.... I saw Brian front the band in 1988 ..he was awesome...
Brian had a better vocal range. He could sing the low end and the high end equally well.
And he never played live.

The best they ever were with Paul Day, Iron Maidens first singer. Brian was awful live!
Tate Thompson Maybe, I've read something about that and I can't find any live version of Connolly, only playbacks on TV shows.
Plenty of Sweet bootlegs with him, I own a bunch and there is ton on here on youtube. He was god awful, 2nd song in to the set he was done. He was a good studio singer because they could just turn up his vocals and clean them up, but live..eh. awful haha.
