That's an interesting concept I had never seen before. I'll have to try that next time I go to downtown Reno where the three big connected casinos are all Caesar properties. I do not play those much but they offer me free rooms all the time, during the week of course, including the Caesars properties in Lake Tahoe both of which are only about 45 minutes away but I like to have cocktails when I'm playing so I don't go to those unless I'm staying overnight. LOL my smaller local casinos you don't see many of those type of machines and the comps are pretty much useless except for free meals now and then

Great content, thanks. Question, do you know what time frame MGM evaluates play? Is it a standard 24 hours starting at midnight or some other time frame. Someone had once told me they start like at 7:00 a.m., but I noticed on the tier accelerator bonus that it goes midnight to midnight so it made me question it. If they cut off at midnight and I have an early morning departure, it might be wise not to play after midnight if it's going to be minimal play.
for the accelerator it’s midnight to midnight , but for normal play it’s constant, they don’t miss a beat. However for daily play it’s generally 6am to 6am, unless they have reset due to the accelerator promotion and standardized on midnight to midnight.
Nice video! There is no reason for the casino to shut this down as you have the same expected loss of any other player playing roulette in any different way, 5.5% per $1 bet. If you want to bet against yourself it doesn't matter. I agree you can in theory play more this way, but it is no different than betting all 36 numbers, which wouldn't even look that weird. How many tier credits should one get from betting $1,000 on the game during normal times?
Hey Dave , when I was out there in March for the Slot Tournament, my friend and I stopped by Tuscany for a while. I like to get a couple of drinks at their bar. I was playing the roulette machine there on the bar. I asked the bartender why the machine didn't have a slot for my players card. He told me that it was because of this Offsetting Bets stuff. So if Tuscany knows about this , I'm sure that Everyone else does too.
Subscriber Brian pointed out it’s about a 42% return, this tells me they may have changed the math and make table game machines earn tier points like table games.
Is it possible to bet $1 on any number? Was just thinking that if that's allowed that you could hedge your bet with $2 on the zeros and recoup some of the loss if they start hitting more often and would only be out for $100 if they don't ever hit over the course of 50 spins.
yes it’s possible , but i see 2 negatives - the odds on digital roulette are 32-1 , so yes $2 would recover some , but you would also be running a constant $4 loss. I had previously done 30-40 spins without a loss. this would add up quick. But i do see your point on the hedge for losses, for sure something to play with. Thanks for watching.

I am having a hard time understanding the tier point system for MGM.
