Thanks for the upload! (Especially for the high quality Power Rangers & VR Troopers promo!) This brought back memories.

Oooh, I remember this being on here years ago then vanishing, good to see it back, and in better quality than before!
Sad to see jailbird Des/Paul looking so young and innocent here, knowing what's happened to him since. And Lloyd from the Demon Headmaster on the cast too (this would have been about 6 weeks before that show began!)- I've just finished re-watching that on DVD, shame it never got a 4th series.
Note the switch from GMTV back to the ITV company at 3:15, the Disney Club was the only show I think that straddled the switch. At least until Lorraine 20-odd years later... but ITV was very different by then.

Well remembered! Hasn't been up since i lost my old account in 2011!
Yeah it is sad looking back, looks like the Disney child star curse wasn't only exclusive to the US.. And thought i recognised him from somewhere! Wow only 6 weeks? so no doubt he had already filmed it when this went out.
And it is interesting Disney Club was the only show that ever did so. What makes this more interesting is STV part owned GMTV at this time along with Disney, and co-produced DC, so in this clip what you're seeing is them handing over the broadcast to STV themselves since this was recorded in that region!

I saw the words "GMTV" in the description? Was this a precursor to Diggit? I never taped it, but I remember that all too well, spending the weekend at my grandparents and just hoping to God I was up at 7am for some Disney magic...

First it was Diggit, Second was Diggin it, and 2005 it was Toonattik.

Yes this was before Diggit was a thing, well there was Road Hog after this and before Diggit, which is the show they found Fearne Cotton on in a viewer competition.

@@HalfbrickVHS Yeah, good times. If Diggit wasn't on super early on weekend mornings, I would've tuned in a lot more. It's a great way for kids to be introduced to classic Disney shows. Hell, that was how I first saw the Timon and Pumbaa show and stuff like Pepper Ann...

@@Gondarth I think Diggit was on 7:10am on Saturdays, and 8am on Sundays. I hated when i got before 8 on a Sunday as GMTV would put on The Sunday Programme, which was a very boring political programme presented by Alistair Stewart. It felt like an eternity waiting for Diggit to come on haha. And yeah so many great shows back then, i most fondly remember watching Recess on there.

@@HalfbrickVHS The worst thing is it was in the day before Sky+, so you couldn't just set a manual recording to cover the two hours. You'd have to set a VHS tape to record the previous night just in case. You'd wake up in the morning and just hope to God the VCR timer actually worked...

I wonder if the other inmates ever mock him for this...
So sad this happened to him, he was a good presenter. Didn't have to take the course in life that he did.
