- Spider-Man 3 released back in 2007.
The film didn't do too well critically for obvious reasons but it made a ton of money...
I decided to go back to Spider-Man 3 on pc which is the xbox 360 and ps3 versions to see if it really was that bad...

This game really did mark the standard of what a spiderman 3 game must have. Amazing story/amazing gameplay. Just fantastic

I'm a big Spider-Man fan, I grew up on his games and movies. I consider Spider-Man 2 to be one of my favorite games of all time and I rank that as my favorite Spidey game. 3 though? That's a whole other story. I tried my best to look past all the flaws. I tried beating this game about 4 or 5 different times and I could no do it.
All they had to do was build off 2 and yet they screwed that up. The combat feels attrocious, the side stories feel uncessary. That gang with the girls and dolls? Ridiculous. The graphics don't look good, not even for the time. It looks like a 7th gen game but, not a good one. The combat and checkpoint system was off. There were a few times I remembered dying and having to restart the whole mission.
I am such a big fan of the hero and movies that I feel like I will still try to beat this again but, watching this reminds me of why I gave up for so many years.
I just can't beat it... i'm close but the game does drain you of your energy lmao

I think that the PS2 version of Spider-Man 3, is the better version than all the versions that came out.
Probably has alot to do with the fact that I grew up with that version from my childhood and the fact that alot of things seem to be wrong with the PS3 version which is also the PC port
This game...was like around 4 GB just to download onto the PS3. I have no idea why that was.

Bcs PS 2 version is better than PS 3,X BOX 360 and PC version

Yeah, being someone who grew up playing this game on a PS2, I can confirm that the console version of this game is waay better... yes it still isn't great lol. It still feels like it's from early 2000's. But comparing just the camera work alone, the PS2 version is far more smooth...

Honestly, the PS3 version is the worst version of the Treyarch Spider-man 3. PC actually runs well and loads objects, PS3 runs badly and doesn't even load 70% of it's objects so the environments are completely empty in that version. (The windows aren't even transparent on PS3, it's awful)
