I’m a Filipino and been living in a Western country for years now and my friends kept asking me as to why I kept sending stuff like old clothes, canned goods, etc to my family back home. I am not obliged but it’s the love that kept me doing this.

In the Philippines families are always whole. No one gets separated young and old. We dont leave our old family members in to retirement homes. We take good care of our old Matriarch and Patriarch until the end
I've seen my loving grandma on her last days of her life that caused me so much pain 😭 because since I was a child she used to take care of me and likewise I did to her when she gets old at age 89y.o, still we care each other and good advises she always feed on my mind....

I’m a Filipino living here in Australia for 26 years now. It’s true a lots of family here putting their family in a nursing homes 😭😭 whilst most of them suffered abuse by the staff, I cried when they showed in the news that senior citizen has been maltreated. My mother passed on 4 yrs. ago in our home in Manila with my sister looking after her until the end. Now I’m worried if I’m gonna end up in nursing home too. Or maybe I’ll be Back home to the Philippines not sure of that . Thank You to your video and to your beautiful letter. Goodbless us ❤️❤️
