- Nine month olds are so much fun, and you have some brand new skills to look for this month! In this video, I am going to walk you through the research-based milestones to look for in your 9 month old baby. This video is split into five skill areas: communication, gross motor skills, fine motor skills, personal social skills, and problem solving skills. All of these milestones are based on the Ages and Stages Questionnaire, which is used by pediatriciansa and hospitals around the world as a reliable developmental screener tool. Always do these about 2 weeks before said month, both a lovely boost on "wow he checked of this much allready" and very good inspiration for what we can test and practice 💖

Should we start to score as soon as baby turns 9 months or after the completion of 9 months?
Hi, I'm not sure whether I'm doing this wrong. If the questions are all worth either 10, 5, or 0 points, how would I ever get a decimal as the answer? I'm sure I'm missing something 😕

It's probably a statistical measure defined by scientists. A threshold may be just a reference for being above or below, not necessarily exactly on it.
We are watching the videos and they are very helpful we can’t understand how you get the score though. will you please explain?The scores are 0,5,10. How did you get a 13.97. Was there a formula to follow? Please advise
It's probably the average Score of a Sample group.
Hi my baby is nine months but not crawling but does most of these should I be concerned?
I think you should talk to your pediatrician because my baby is nine and dose more that a 1 year old do. I'm saying this because our nephew is 1 year old. and don't do those things what my baby does because he is too chubby and heavy to move. Some baby development are slow. Some are very vast. Like my baby started crawling at 4 months.
I wanted to watch but the music in the background is so loud and annoying I can’t bother lol
