I call this the producer effect. It doesn't matter if your favorite UA-camr is on the enemy team. If you're watching anyone else you immediately root for them. The reason this happens is what I like to believe is that you sorta feel like you're on the same team as you watch their point of view, and you want your team to win of course, so you find yourself on the edge of your seat and putting your hopes on your teammate; the producer of the video.

They should add in a game mode where you can borrow your team mate's cards if you need to. For example: You have two +2 cards in your hand. You play one at the next player, but it turns out they also have one, so they stack. You partner could take the 4 new cards, or they could grab the extra one in your hand because they need it. Or if greens are the go, but your team mate only has reds, so they could take a green card from your deck.
But, they can't just take. If it is your team mate's turn, and the person after them has an Uno, they can't just take a card from yours to get rid of the next player's Uno. We'll say the colour on the field is yellow. Let's say that your partner has yellows, but you KNOW that if you play a plain yellow card, they next person will win. So, they want to take a +4 you have in your hand. Because your partner has a playable card, they couldn't take your +4 card.
