He went down to the cellar when a killing was happening. A battle. Man to man, strapped with a belt, back to back, with a knife in your hands. The survivor "wins"... Skål fra Norge!
sorry guys, havent had time to do a tut, but ill see what i can do in the near future;) until then the tuning is EAEAEG with capo on 8th, im sure you can pick it up by ear!
Lovely rendition of a great melody. But your fact sheet seems to be missing the part where two of the guests fought to the death while the devil played.
Did you change any strings to change the tuning? I attempted the EAEAEG tuning but the strings were so tense I didn't risk it, I also tried down tuning but the strings weren't tense enough. (It may also be that I've been more used to tuning a violin recently so the guitar more feels different)
Veldig flott! En TAB hadde selvfølgelig vært fantastisk. Eller en tutorial. Hva som helst : ) Thanks!

Happened at Hovet in Hol in Hallingdal. My ancestors were there that day. Villand family
This is a famous melody for the harding fiddle. Good work transferring to guitar
Love it, or in norwegian: (because i'm from Norway)
Jeg elsker det!
Jøss det der var fantastisk !
Har alltid ønsket å lære meg Fanitullen på gitar. Åpen tuning ser jeg, får prøve litt med det ;)
Ja! Åpen tuning med en stor ters på toppen!
After visiting this wedding and teaching norwegians Fanitullen, the Devil went to Georgia.
Veldig bra, veldig fin versjon av fanitullen :)

Very beautiful playing, and a great version of this tune! But I have to know, what tuning are you playing in?
Very nice - I'm assuming these are the guys who made this studio recording.
Er det mulig å få tabs på denne?
Du har vel ikke tabulatur eller noter til denne???
Jakob Stendahl desverre! har bare plukket den...
Did you ever get around to making the tutorial? It would be much appreciated
:)
The original black metal tune.

Sounds like a Led Zeppelin song
Sounds like Norwegian folk music, which it is
fyfan så rått.
I hate it when all is staged. Coreographed. Plastic.
