Float🔥🔥🔥, I’m loving every aspect of slashing this year, I feel like the game has pretty good logic on most attacks if you pick the right one, especially when creating contact first, I’ll cradle and euro if I get them shifted and if not I’m floating over their head😂
Float!!! I’ve been using the float game whenever people seats under the rim. I sometimes hate how 2k changes the timing when someone closes out. If I time it in the green window and let the stick go and someone closes out after I let go in the green window. It shouldn’t be considered “early” or “late”. My defender is the one who”s late. I shouldn’t be penalized 🤷🏾♂️

Yes!!! I knew I wasn’t the only one thinking about this. The other day in rec there was 5 seconds left down by 1, I got passed my defender, big man was camping under the rim so I went for an open floater then the defender came up to my side from behind and completely erased the green window. That shouldn’t be a thing

Man I barely saw anyone doing floaters aside from myself I swear if I see a bunch of ppl throwing them up now because of you lol but real shit good video I like the info you share with us. And unlike like 90% of the other youtubers that do info videos or just 2k in general you don't complain 24/7 about the game or start conspiracy theories. I really know don't like 2k methods of getting money out of us but there's nothing else on the market and none of these other youtubers are actually doing anything to fix things they all have their own agendas aside from a few to me. bro i been seein it every rec and park game from the start, i knew this was op and it's almost impossible to guard sometimes and im not sayin just for me cause i play sf, the c can never get a hand on this cause you can start the floater so early your shots in the air over the bigs head before he can close out on the drive. i would say it should be toned down a bit but we all know mike wang will make it so you can never hit a floater again so i guess i'd rather they just leave it like this 🤷♀
Floaters are so fun and effective. Almost more fun than contact dunks.

How do you get the layup meter to pop up on floaters? Mine won’t show
Should I do this 97 layup no dunk but standing (higher strength)🤔 or 73-75 layup with 84 dunk? (Lower strength)
If you want to be able to dunk, 84 is OK but bronze posterizer combined with lack of contact dunks will hurt. I have 90 and 92 layup on two builds with no dunk and it's filthy.
can I use a small center build like this in rec and not get bullied by bigger bigs?

Man I promise you if you take the meter off and get the hang of it that no meter boost is insane. I just hold back until my player starts to go up with the floater and it’s green pretty much every time. I have a no dunk 80 layup guard and between the floaters and scoops I have no probably finishing around the rim

@@theyreruiningusa butler or Westbrook I use butler mostly but Westbrook is good too. Lakers vid on layups explains the difference between the two but that’s what I use.
I heard the no Meter boost only affects jump shots and not layups

@@Smoothbrainstationright after the spin just push down on analog just like you would for a regular floater. It’ll mash both animations together.

Which floater are you using in the video?
Can we see 5v5 tips for all this cause it's harder in 5v5 to do these things than essentially 1v1.
U have to mislead the defense into your going for something completely different. They’re expecting a drive or a pull up, so a floater will catch off guard. Once u get a step on your man into the arc with space in front of u to the rim, it’s a go. Always look out for the big and where his body is facing, it dictates how quickly he can contest. That’s honestly it. A layup most times is a faster animation than a dunk, especially scooper

If u put high layup and no driving dunk is it worth it to get 45 standing or will it not activate frequently since no driving I heard u need 36 driving dunk but idk lmk ?
It’s worth it for those punk fakes or when mfs pass it to you in the paint late af
You need 26 driving to make sure your 45 standing actually activates

You know they're going to tie those far floaters into mid range soon lol. It'll still be good though
They already do. I've activated middy magician on some floaters before.

How do you do a floater and how do you activate the standing dunk meter
floaters are right stick away from the basket while not holding turbo. Standing dunk is ideal while standing on the restricted area lines, holding turbo and either going for a meter dunk by flicking right stick down then up or just use X for a regular dunk.

PLEASE do not publicly show sabonis layup. I thought I was the only one that knew
I understand the purpose of videos like this but it paves the way for people to be bots and do nothing but floaters. I as a 6”4 with a primarily layup setup in my finishing. It’s apart of my playstyle and how I like to play. People who don’t care will just use this to get easy points. People will know make a high layup, high middy, high steal just to win when they know that’s not primarily how they play. It’s honestly very annoying.
