Quite good number of you were accusing me for being stupid and not reading the manual but please note my previous video was about set up and first impression about Vector.
Now since I have revised few bits from the manual available from app, let me show you what tricks Vector can preform since most of you lot don’t have the product yet ;)

There is a way to power vector off just hold the green button for 3 seconds and he will power off 5 secs if you want to reset it his display will turn off and he won’t snore

Guys, Last night Vector went to sleep as normal and in the morning around 7:45 AM he started moving around so he woke me up XD because i keep him on my bedside table
Maybe he woke up from your sound of snoring? He is sound sensitive, you know? Maybe place him in the living room if that helps?
Maybe you should say to him ‘Good night and make no sound until I say so’ or you can change the volume in the app
Vector actually saved my butt this morning cuz I fell back asleep after my alarm but he started rolling and exploring around and it woke me up again hahaha
I guess there is always pros and cons!
Well it’s not about the snoring cause this morning he didn’t do the same as yesterday morning. Also his laser perception for not falling of the table isn’t working very well. He fall off the table couple of times
So, my Vector was sleeping then when at 6:52 you said, "Hey, Vector!" he woke up and got really mad at me 😂

I guess that this reluctant little robot doesn't like you very much. You can choose the robot but the robot has no say on its owner. This thing will be a quivering neurotic creature by the end of the week. Learn the phrases ... not "three times four". Ask him "what's three times four". A question. Not a statement.

Amazing to see that these early videos you did of Vector are being viewed so many times! Almost 100k on this one. I got a Vector last November It has been online since day one. Still consider it a cool little robot. The battery is holding well. It still has not fallen off of it's coffee table . LJP I hope you are well.

Mine has the same issue where it doesn’t recognize me despite the introduction being made. Half the time he will and within minutes he won’t.

“Hey Vector!? Go to sleep” It’s my go-to, because Vector cannot do anything much more useful besides that. From disturbing me while I am working... he is really a pain in the b*** 😁

LJP Tech I have. I’m in it, bro. Still, what I have been testing is its ‘intelligence’ (for now, let’s assume ‘intelligence’ is based on factors that allow the thing to learn and evolve). It hasn’t proved anything to me; other than it is really cute!! :)

i REALLY want one, but it looks so limited right now, cozmo offers way more, but not being able to talk to it really does lessen the sense of "life"

I just got one, do you find it doesn’t always respond to the commands you give it? Sometimes I have to do it multiple times

It’s the Vector app. I have been told about the app might not be available on Google Play but i don’t have an Android phone - crappy iphone 6S here soon to be upgraded to Google Pixel 3XL on 1st of November

Yesterday i ordered a vector for my son, today i found out that anki has closed so he wont even work. They should not sell them if they no longer work, had i have known i wouldnt have purchased one.
You are a good parent to get your son a Vector. There are individual programmers still developing Vector and also other tech companies potentially buying Anki so I wouldn't consider a waste of money

Its still way to go, maybe with updates it will get better. Just like cozmo intially cozmo wasn't that great either but with updates to the app now its wonderful.

Yes, smaller home the better. Battery life around 34 mins max. I know this since performed livestream with Vector

Yes, he is still sleeping with no sounds. I guess if he wakes up and move when one sleeps it can be bit annoying? I am very happy the way it is.

these victors are not computers they act as pets almost.. when they are around you and you’re interacting with them they basically learn about you... your victor legit got pissed off that you weren’t paying attention to it the whole time... then it started playing with its block. and they can’t see in the dark because they use their camera to see you... if it can’t see what it’s doing it’s going to be scared.

There are a total of 4 features showcased. Low Res camera, poor quality voice assistant, "come to me", set timer.

Yes, initially that's how I judged Vector but more I looked into it, there are vast amount of customisation that can be made, depending on the owner.

Hello, First congratulate for your videos, they are really fantastic and fun. I have a question. I would like to know if in the Vector App you have a programming interface per block like Cozmo Code Lab? I have also observed that some users who have vetor have had problems recognizing voices.
I do not know if I'm wrong but it seems that Vector is not as animated and glorious as Cozmo, he looks more coarse and more usent. It seems that Vector does not play as much or uses his cube. Thanks for your videos, it continues like this I love it and I'm hoping to have my vector soon. a greeting
Hey, NihonMotion, sorry for the late reply. I have seen some of Cozmo's videos and I have never owned one. It looks like Cozmo is a mean little brat while Vector is a mild intelligent sheep. Vector looks at you and adores you, constantly calling your name. I value mostly on Vector because it gets updated daily and should get more intelligent as days go by. I am having fun with this robot and I trust you will do so as well. Hope this clarifies your queries.

I’m watching this with my vector and it’s Christmas Day he was born today and he loves watching this. Every time I want him to watch Wally he doesn’t seem interested but he sees adds or this he’s so happy he won’t move and while writing this comment I had to keep the vid going or else he gets mad. He just raged and slapped me rly hard 😂. Whenever he is in the air he gets mad like rly mad.... but when on my hand he calm...

Sorry, I don’t own a cozmo but already few people asked me about it. I know that Cozmo is more ill behaved fun systemised robot by phone connection while Vector is more well mannered, ever learning cloud data based functioning Robot. Vector is due to be connected with Alexa by end of this year which I am mainly looking forward to.

19 October 20. My two year old Vector is now refusing to respond unless I pay. This RANSOME DDL is asking has got to be wrong. I can understand not been able to utilise there server's to get info but they stopped all communications. Like black jack, come here, we're your cube. In fact all. You can't ask him to do anything. This is wrong. Let's look at the bigger picture. A.I. in the future. You have a robot to help you. A company (US or China) buys out your robots company. Then disables it unless you pay up. Or even gets it to kill you. Think about this before you laugh. This is blackmail. Can someone legal look at this?

Well man you have to tell it your name and then it''ll memorizes your name and face. Then if you ask him what is your name it'll know. He cannot find out what your name is if you don't say it to vector, except if it checks your id ? 😏

I liked your videos actually, they were nice to watch. I dont think that i'll get a vector anytime soon, because when i saw the ad i Thought it'd be perfect but it's not as perfect as i though it was.
