Nah bruh his first ever pull gave him a 5-star weapon together with Benett (one of the most broken characters ever) and Ningguang wtf 😭
I'm gonna quite life after this
NO WAY!? BRUUUUH
I love this game but I fucking hate this game LMAO
Meanwhile i got Wolf Gravestone on Neuvillette Weapon Banner
@@sushishishu every genshin player tbh:
For a new player. Wolf's Gravestone is a good claymore. You got Bennet, arguably the best neutral game support in the game that can almost make every character a god, and Ningguang... which is good for exploration because now you know where all the ore deposits are gonna be when you need them to craft things.
ning is a great dps as well, people sleep on her. she made the combat ridiculously easy for me early game. he's set
@@Jehphgexactly. I remember charged attack, the auto lock, the shields, and the range was very helpful as a beginner. The ult and the constellations are easy to get so really nice char for beginners.
Could have also been the fact that my first 2 standard five stars were the lost prayer. But we don't talk about that.
dude, i'm still hunting for that weapon after 3 years of playing this game for my diluc. holy shit. that's some super luck
i don't even have dilue
Pulling WGS at first 10 pull.. and even accidentally lmao.
i remember waking up early to play this game (it was like 4am for me) the second it got released, the first few hours were so much fun. just running around and exploring
Right?! I barely knew about it but stumbled across it on release got on and was blown away
Fr I was so obsessed with it and my mom yelled at me for it bcz I was doing nothing but playing for hours
Such a fun game
Eventhough playing on phone was annoying, we managed to buy a ps5 5 month later luckily so now I play on my Ps5
I started playing genshin when inazuma came out
3 years of Genshin and I still didn't get the Wolf's Gravestone 😂😂
SAME, LIKE WTH IS THIS LUCK LMAOO
Man I got it but don’t even have dilue for that 😭😭😭
Same lol, I need it for diluc so badly
Watching the prologue is always so nostalgic!
There's no canon twin btw, Hoyoverse has already confirmed multiple times that both Lumine and Aether can be interchangeable, it's just that Aether is used more in trailers for continuity sake.
I do recommend clicking through all the tutorials, even if you don't need to reread them. Each one gives you a primogem, which might not seem like a lot, but given the little tutorials show up every time you come across a new mechanic (and boi are there a lot of mechanics), they can add up pretty quickly! (also, the little red exclamation point gets annoying after a while)
True, luckily it doesn't go anywhere though. I remember i first became aware of this in inazuma or sumeru or so and probably got like one or two pulls from all the primos lmao
That was a super lucky first pull. Bennett is one of the absolute best 4* in the game (basically a 6* in terms of power) and Wolf's Gravestone is 5* greatsword that can take like 80 wishes and crazy luck to get (claymore is not the best weapon type, but for the few good characters that use it, that one is really good)
But from my experience playing since 1.0 using bennet for first time player is no good 😂, its hard to gain energy when u dont have good energy recharge artifact’s, and first time player always need stable healer, using barbara is better at first imo.
Hey Claymores are good for mining, and Noelle is my tank too since she's a decent shielder.
@@bautomat8600 I'm pretty sure as long as you level artifacts, you don't really need a healer at all at the start. But I agree that with no ER he is not a consistent healer so a few days of playing may be necessary to get him going
@@Zodia195 Yeah I use Sayu for mining, but you don't need a 5* claymore for that. Beidou is a very strong character that uses claymore. Diluc is functional for his role as well
Something about the prologue just reminds me everytime how much i love this game and how far weve come but also how much fun i had back then as well :D hope you enjoy your journey dude i will tune in for your future adventures
Canonically as per showing in the story it is usually aether that is shown promos more consistently as the Mc perhaps as to not confused the newcomers who are new to the game who is who to which will inevitably happen if they actually swap it with each of its cutscenes. Considering the other sibling has an important role too in the story.
Mihoyo did not out right say that he is the canonical mc, even clarifies that there is no "cannon" traveller, regardless of which one are more used in promos. There are even story quest down the road that seems to show that they literally have the same experiences and memories no matter who you pick. So who knows really.
"The canon main character , In other words, is decided entirely by the player and whichever of the twins they choose at the start of the game and take to the end." - Mihoyo
Instead of writing a paragraph, you could just write: "both mc are canonical and the story is written for both, but for all promo materials (manga, trailers, demos, anime, etc.), Aether (male twin) is selected as the mc."
just let bro cook
the people who spread the lie that Aether is the true protagonist either don't have a mind of their own and don't know how to choose for themselves or they want to have the illusion of self-insert and want to force it on others too
This is just useless trivia but here's the reasons why a lot of people think that Aether is the canonical MC:
Aether was the "Original" MC that was planned from the start, and through demo testing they added Lumine as a secondary option (although was already present as the Abyss Princess) as some of the demo testers wanted to play as her.
Aether's character code is 100006 while Lumine's is 100007.
Lumine has a flower from the land of Khaenri'ah given to her by Aether as a "Gift" prior to Khaenri'ah and the Heavenly Principles being born (This one is actually written in the lore, the siblings visited Teyvat at least twice, first time was before heavenly principles and second time is losing their powers to the principles), people speculated that this meant that Lumine was the "Original" Abyss Sibling as she is the only one who shows signs of attachment for Teyvat
Again, most of these are unreliable info, but I'm a sponge full of Genshin lore & trivia so I need to squeeze at least a little out from time to time.
@@Keiki-kun It's mostly tied to their designs for me. Lumine has this special flower in her hair which is referenced in both the Archon quest as well as the initial Teyvat trailer. Aether does not have that flower. That's not to say that Lumine isn't cannon, Hoyoverse did state so after all. But evidence does suggest that they did consider Aether to be cannon at some point, at least while designing the characters... They should have added that flower to Aether's design in some way too.
When you wish you usually get a blue trail (if its just an average wish), then there are purple trails when you get 4* characters or weapons (like ningguang and bennett that you got) and 5* characters and weapons have the golden trail you got.
5* characters and weapons are really rare (normally takes 70-80 wishes to get one). It was very good luck to see a 5* weapon that early and its one of the best 5* weapons you could have gotten from that banner. Congrats!
This feels so nostalgic damn, enjoy your journey
Bran is gonna mald so much seeing this guy's first 10 pull lmao
Bennett is a fantastic unit to have. He's even better if you manage to get another copy of him so you can go to his Constellations and activate his first constellation (or 'C1' for short). Ningguang is also nice, especially more in early-game. Wolf's Gravestone is a nice claymore - if you happen to get Diluc, Chongyun, Razor, Beidou, Xinyan, Dehya, Eula, Sayu, or Dori, you can give it to them.
"Editor, cut this out."
*Editor proceeds to not cut it out*
47:10 Make sure to put artifacts on your characters when you have the time to! There are 5 categories for them. Eventually, you’ll find good artifact sets! Putting 2 of the same set will give you a certain stat boost (You can do 2 of one set, and 2 of another-they stack!). But equipping 4 artifacts of the same set will give you its full stat boost.
Not needed for early game. Never used them till act 3 of Liuye and was fine.
@@alexv1aig so but might as well just equip some.
Wolf's Gravestone daaaaamn that's a good 5 star claymore my guy! Enjoying your playthrough. The beginning is pretty boring and a lot of information is dumped on you, but I hope you keep at it, the game gets so good after a while. And the exploring and OST is always fantastic.
Wolf's Gravestone is one of the best claymore that u can get on standart baner. If u want u have free noelle in this 20 noelle pulls and u can use this weapon on her as main DPS for now. GL anyway
what i also like is that most characters have different attack techniques or animations. especially with sword attacks its fun to see. sometimes theres even lore why techniquesare the way they are or similar to others
If you didn't notice, Bennett's circle is for healing (54:00 ish)
Edit: as far as why its only 3 temples, recall the moment when Amber said Stormterror had his own temple
BROOOOOO WHAT A LUCKY PULL! YOU GOT BENNET AND WOLF GRAVESTONE ON FIRST WISH WTF. CONGRATS!
I love your gameplay man. I also really love the fact that u even try to understand the story/lore. I’m not gonna give tips cos there’s so many out there plus the community itself. I’ll be following your journey man. Cheers!
thank you for enjoying the content :D
I kinda wanna see reaction of bran to you pulling wolf gravestone it will be so funny 🤣😂
Glad you’re enjoying the game so far! Also congratulations, your first 10 pull was so lucky… I’ve been playing since 1.2 and Bennett never left the team once I got him. Use the characters you like, of course, but he is genuinely one of the most versatile and amazing characters in the game. He is definitely my favourite healer, amazing support and deals good damage, as well as being a pyro (fire) character. Pyro infusion (having two or more pyro characters on your team) increases everyones attack by 20% and that can be super useful!
Sorry, I don’t have time to reread my comment and I’m a dyslexic non-native English speaker:)
This brings back memories. Enjoy your journey through Teyvat! I hope you enjoy it, it's a wonderful story.
Yayyy excited to watch! Hope you are enjoying the game so far!
37:39 you can equip that cute Itty Bitty Octobaby, it's a pet that follows u around! Really cute little guy. The other thing is a bubble gun, u can shoot bubbles with it, they wont disappear if u use them :)
Bennett is such a great character! his burst (that Pyro circle) can boost atk and also heal characters. if you ever want to know more about how a certain skill or burst works, you can enter the character screen and click on "talents"
as for other tips:
the biggest mistake I made as a new player was progressing my story and adventure rank way further than my characters talents, levels, and artifacts. Make sure to upgrade artifacts and weapons as you go
anemo is an amazing element especially for the beginning of the game. anemo can take on some other elements and deal different damage. for instance, traveler's skill and burst can turn into cryo, hydro, Pyro, or electro if it makes contact with anything that is affected by those elements. if a hilichurl shield is on fire, one of those anemo attacks can spread the fire to surrounding shields/enemies
Got a few pieces of advice! (Feel free to take them or not, lol)
For pulls, I’d actually say go for the blue ones at first until you can do all the pulls on the beginner banner (a ten pull costs 8 instead of 10 items, and it’ll give you 20 pulls total). This gives you a guaranteed Noelle, who is a combination shielder+healer. She’s not the fastest, but she’s incredibly reliable and helped me tremendously in early game. Outside of that, you want the pinker pulls only (used for non standard banner). Anything you can get on the standard banner (the bluer one) you can get on at least one of the limited ones, and those will have time limited characters or weapons. That said, it’s generally best to avoid the weapon banner and go for characters. As for weapons themselves, only three star and above have passives, so I’d recommend raising those over lower level ones. Also, some weapons can *only* be found in chests in certain areas so I’d recommend saving at least one of each kind. I will say that you’ll get more and more better weapons as time goes on, so it’s more efficient to focus on raising characters. (And once you get more than one of a weapon 3* or higher, you can use the duplicate to upgrade the passive)
Lmao unfortunately one of the things you can do that’ll be most helpful is read the descriptions of the character kit. Some kits are pretty straightforwards, like kaeya, and some have bits that aren’t as intuitive (enemies can run through ningguang’s screen but it will stop projectiles, for example, and as she attacks she’ll accumulate floating rocks that you can yeet at the enemy via a charged attack). The other thing is checking the tutorials for elemental reactions-but I know there’s a LOT so going for only a few at first might be easiest?
As for artifacts (the feather, the flower, etc), at this point I’d say it might be helpful to make sure the characters have something equipped, but beyond trying to maybe get the set bonuses(equipping 2 or 4 pc of the same set), I really wouldn’t worry about them and honestly you can completely ignore them for now and be just fine.
Going back to reading kits, it might be useful to check the passives (lower items in the talents section). While some need to be unlocked, there’s usually at least one always active, and it can make your life a lot easier. For example, Kaeya’s passive means you don’t use as much stamina when running with him on the team, so you can run farther, and having ningguang on the team will display nearby ores(can be refined into weapon-raising material) on your mini-map. She’s also pretty good at collecting those ores as well(claymores are also excellent when you get one). This is another reason I’d recommend getting Noelle, since she has a chance of duplicating any perfectly made food that increases defense.
Also! If you’re not sure how to pronounce a character’s name, check their voicelines! There’s usually an introductory one where they’ll say it for you.
Beyond that I’d just say try the characters and see what you like! Bennett is an excellent healer and support, and I definitely recommend him, but what I think matters most in this game is having fun, so feel free to disregard any of this advice and do what sparks joy.
You must to watch the Harbingers trailer. It's awesome!
Amzing luck on that first pull! For future reference wishing, doing the beginner wish will give you Noelle and at least 1 other 4-star character for a discount and then it disappears.
Never use your primogems on the standard banner because pretty much everything on it can be obtained from event wishes, and you'll get standard wishes as you play the game and level up characters (the blue ones, they're called aquaint fates).
The event wishes change every 3 weeks, and the pity towards a guarantee will carry over. It takes 90 wishes to guarantee getting a 5 star character, and there's a 50% chance of getting the featured character. The other 50% is equally divided between the standard pool of 5 star characters (Qiqi, Mona, Keqing, Jean, Diluc, Tighnari, and Dehya). If you get one of the standard pool 5 star characters, the next time you get a 5 star character you are guaranteed to get the featured one.
Wish for whoever you like best since everything in the game can be beat with any characters if you build them right. The character trials in the event tab will let you use the featured characters to kill some small enemies and see how you like their playstyle, they also give some small rewards.
For the weapon banner, it's not really worth it to wish on there unless you plan to spend money on the game because the pity system is very convoluted and unless you're very dedicated to a character and have 600usd to spend on a weapon (in the worst case scenario of going to hard pity) its not a big enough damage increase to be worth it imo.
Hoping you a great time playing Genshin. Just take it at your own pace man
Pog the dinner is being served after all the cooking.
Ngl the quests definitely ramp up but it's still always nice to see the beginning again :D
Also sick luck on the first pull
- Bennet, even though he may not seem as overwhelming at the beginning, is definitely one of the best characters in the game. You don't even have to compare him to supports or 4*s, just one of the best. period.
- Getting a 5* this early is really lucky. Wolf's Gravestone is really good. People don't get 5* weapons often since you usually pull on characters, so while it may be cooler to get a 5* character early on, it is, i would argue, one of the better long-term things you could get from the standard banner.
There are no duplicate restrictions to the user names you can change it to match characters and other peoples usernames however you want and how many times you want
Enjoy your time, Don't rush or anything. As a wise man said "Every journey has its final day, Don't rush"
you started playing just in time! a lot of the stuff you got from your mailbox was from the genshin anniversary gift event
Goodluck man i would love to see you embark on this epic journey 👌 you got a sub bro just keep doing this
Congrats on the 10 pull! You're already starting off strong. There are a ton of helpful comments I've seen because this game has a lot to it and can be a little overwhelming when first beginning. I don't want to repeat too much of what others have suggested; that being said, pick up EVERYTHING. The storage in this game is pretty large, and basically everything in this world that can be picked up, has a use in some way shape or form. A lot of the materials that you come across just wandering around are often used to level characters, weapons, talents ect. Picking up as much as you can while just exploring really helps in later game to reduce how much you might have to farm for some items. On top of that, new characters are VERY tempting to want to wish for, but often the materials you need to level them are often locked to the map area that the character was introduced in. Most places are open and explorable as long as you can travel there on foot, but Inazuma, the electro nation is not unlocked until you complete a certain part of the main story quest, so keep in mind that characters from there will be hard to level until that area is unlock! (take this advice from someone who had a ton of Inazuma characters before they played that part of the story lol ) My other advice would be to just equip artifacts to your characters and not worry to much about their stats just yet. They are very important and can really buff a character like crazy, but not worth paying too much time and attention to in really early game! The last thing I want to add is, have fun! There is no real right or wrong way to experience this game for the first time, so don't feel like you have to rush through anything for the fear of missing out, take as much time as you need and do things you enjoy doing in the game!
There is no such a thing as "canon twin" and this has also been stated by Hoyoverse, fans say that because they see the male twin more often on promos. But in china the female twin is used in promos too, by the way most of the chinese players choose the female one.
Wrong. Aether is canon and he's more popular
@@Jev_the_fluorescent_shrimp lmao
@@Jev_the_fluorescent_shrimp 💀💀💀
@@oba73_ you can lmao all you want, Aether won't stop being the main character
@@Jev_the_fluorescent_shrimp I'm an Aether main. He's not canon lmao
Mondstadt has a lot of things that kind of don't come back, like the air battle with Dvalin early one. As the game went on they kind of started to standardize how the boss fights would go. Which is understandable, but a little sad.
I've only been playing for a few months but seeing Mondstadt's chapter feels nostalgic. Bennet is a very lucky pull! I can't vouch for Ningguang since I unfortunately haven't pulled her yet, but Benny boy is a very nice support. Though I personally did pull on the beginner's wish first - a guaranteed Noelle was huuuuge for lots of missions and I still use her (I am unapologetically a Noelle enjoyer, idc, she's awesome, she shields, she hields, she hits and she's a claymore so she's great for getting ore. Noelle takes no L's as someone said). Best of luck with the game and have fun!
Brooo aintnoway he got Wolves Gravestone straight up from his very 1st ever 10 pull, massive W
Congrats, and welcome, its always nice to watch new travelers, the nostalgia is real 🥰🙏
Glad you tried the game! just play at your own pace. Enjoy! You are lucky to a 5* sword, benny and Ning at first pull!
Ngl, watching you play this beginning made me feel so nostalgic. Just realised how close we are currently from the end and the truth
It's always nice to watch new players experience Genshin for the first time. Congrats on your first 10 pull. Wolf's Gravestone is a good weapon to pull for the first time and Bennet is one of the S tier characters to get. So well done 👏
In regards to wishing for characters, I wouls suggests wishing for characters you like or would need in your team. And for artifacts, I say not to worry about it til you've reach a good level or have enough artifacts to use for your team.
Anyway, I hope you continue to play and enjoy the game.
Ah I remember as me starting genshin as a non-gamer (like last game I've played sims 2 or aoe2 and I was thinking gamers are stupids-turns out i am). I couldn't find teleport point for half an hour, don't how to walk and control (I also play on ipad). And I was so excited and amazed by everything. It will be almost a year since I start to genshin now I'm addicted all hoyo games. Watching this reminds me that all good and happy feelings. Thanks a lot for sharing this video.
Congrats on your first 10 pull! Amazing luck. NInguang is good for quite a while - she can mine stuff easily. The 5 star weapon is excellent. Bennett is a fantastic character to heal and boost attack. Take the chance to test out characters - you get rewards for doing so and can see if you like their play style. Some people are recommending Hu Tao but I don't like her playstyle so I'd say avoid her! Neuvillette is much better in my opinion. But really, you can get whichever characters you like the look of/playstyle and make them work for your game. Enjoy! (Subbed. )
A few notes:
your inventory is unlimited pick up everything.
Attacking trees harvests wood, attacking rock harvests ore.
USE YOUR ELEMENTAL SKILLS.
Read the skill descriptions for each character, that will tell you which artifacts to use for their stats and what holding the button or tapping it does.
The skills do work differently if held or tapped, Ambers skills can be aimed where you want them if held.
Equip artifacts, for now doesnt matter which ones they buff your characters.
Adventure rank IS NOT character level.
Level your characters, level your weapons, level your artifacts.
EXP used to level equipment is transfered to items when older ones are sacrificed for leveling.
More stars equals better, so using lower star items to level higher star things is OK.
Climb, climb, climb, lots of goodies hiding above you.
A caveat to above for now do not jump while climbing, it uses up a lot of stamina.
wolfgravestone bennet and ninnguang in one pull and your ever first pull thats fucking lucky, ning is my fav character y love her
I got a keqing on my first 10 pull welcome to the lucky clan use the gravestone wisely 😊
very quick guide to banners I guess:
+ gem can be exchanged to "*rainbow balls*" and "*blue balls*"
+ *Blue ball* can be used on beginner and STANDARD banner, while *rainbow balls* used for the rest.
+ 1 ball = 1 pull, every 10 pulls will guarantee you *at least* one 4 star character or weapon.
+ As such, every 90 pull (pity) will guarantee you at least one 5 star character (limited character banner) or 5 star weapon (limited character banner) or either (standard => this is why whaling on standard banner is bad idea)
+ Bonus but important: with limited character banner, you have a 50/50 chance at getting the *featured* 5 star, if you fail that, the next 5 star is 100% guaranteed. This guaranteed carries share between banners (eg. if you failed Hu Tao 50/50, you can pull on Neuvillette and it's 100% chance, but if you still don't want to spend, you can *save* this guarantee for a different character in the future)
What you should pull early on:
+ DO NOT exchange gem for blue balls (the game will give you them for free as you play)
+ Pull for beginner banner first with only blue balls (20% off for 20 pull => meaning 16 blue balls in total), after that beginner banner will be removed.
+ After beginner, look at the 2 beautiful (main) faces on each of the limited banners, choose whoever interested you, then use your gem on them.
+ As you are a new player, don't look at WEAPON banners
That was a very good first 10pull, i believe the chance was 6% plus you got 2 characters aswell. sadly no 5star character but the weapon looks very strong
Always love to see new players enjoying the game untainted by community drama and salt, such bliss, hope you can keep this feeling of wonder for as long as possible
Just watching your playthrough now
I thought to give you some advice that i did not find in the comments.
When you level up your character you use character exp books and you play and wish you will gain a ton of character both 5 star and 4 star and you might get confused and overwhelmed as to which characters to level up, since after a while you will find that there is a shortage of exp books
My suggestion to you is that focus on two teams of charcters (4 each) and build them since you will need 8 characters later in the game during spiral abyss
Exception to this rule is if you get a 5 star that you really like and enjoy playing but already have i characters leveled up to be playable you can still upgrade the 5 star
Have a nice journey traveller
Ningguang is a 5star in disguise (once you get to Liyue you will understand) and Benett is THE BEST support in the game.. PLUS you got the Gravestone one of the Best Claymores.. whats is this luck.. (ALSO dont invest to much XP/Materials in every character as you only get so much and there are a LOT of character that are obtainable)
TLDR only level up character that you want to play as
congrats bro, u have the rare trait of streamer luck. You will go far
You say you love the lore aspect of games as well? Well you're in for a ride. Consider Genshin impact as an archeological journey from now on. Everything like literally everything from weapons, to artifacts to wood and what not , everything has lore. There's 10 million words in this game(and we're only at the 5th nation yet).
The fact that you got Bennett first pull and I, an AR55 player,
got C1 right two months ago.
I'm not even a second in and I already love your vibe. Subscribed.
Important hints for beginners!
1) Make sure you don't spend your "Fragile Resins" from your inventory. These things will become very rare later on.
Resin is a currency needed for farming stuff to build your characters. It replenishes over time (1 resin per 8 min) but is capped at 160 units.
While you can and should use the replenishing resin (X/160) anytime, you can consume a "fragile resin" to refill the stock and thus skip some waiting time - but it's not recommended to do so until you hit Adventure Rank 45.
That's the threshold where the highest qualitiy rewards can be obtained for the same "price".
And note that your resin will be CUT DOWN to 160/160 on the next daily server restart, if you somehow get above the cap and don't consume them in the same day!
2) The game seems to flood you with tons of recources for the beginning - but don't do the mistake to evenly level up all your characters. You will run out of recources pretty quickly as well.
Focus on 1 or 2 characters to carry your team until you reach World Level 8 (the highest one where the enemies become the hardest to deal with).
Choose a character which is designed to be a "main dps" as your carry.
3) To build a character you need to level up his/her:
- level (up to 80 or 90)
- talents (about up to lvl 6 out of 10)
- weapon (always to its max lvl 90 - at least a 3 star weapon or better)
- artifacts
All of these will cost you resin. Even though artifacts have a big impact on the characters performance, obtaining good ones in domains have too much RNG (random number generated) luck involved. So you are better off focusing to the first 3 mentioned categories first to get noticable improvement for your buck.
Subbed, enjoying your reactions on graphics etc etc, and bennett is top tier support, heals/atk buffs
The 5 star gravestone you got is Diluc's signature weap, insane pull honestly
IT'S HERE!! Good luck on your journey through teyvat traveler 🎉
Don't listent to Paimon haters. Some may scorn Paimon and like to let you know all about it .. but plenty love Paimon too.
+ it only overlaps with Breath of the Wild as far as having landscape to walk, glide and climb about in. Other than that the focus of the games is entirely different. BotW is all about immersion in the physical reality of the world. Wet rock is slippery, weapons can break. You can pick things up and drop them down. .. eg. you can chop down a tree to make a log. Drop a balloon on the log and it floats into the air. GImpact is limited .. you can't drop things on the ground. On the other hand, GImpact has a focus on character and story. GImpact is more like a Tales Of game than BotW.
43:10 That claymore is great for a lot of claymore characters in terms of dps and Bennett is one of the best supports in terms of buffs and heals so honestly not a bad start at all!
There are elemental reactions that can be triggered for all elements except geo and you can adjust and make up to 10 teams that you can switch between.
Different weapon types are sword, claymore, polearm, bow and catalyst.
Elements are anemo (wind), pyro (fire), hydro (water), electro (lightning/electricity), dendro (grass/nature) and geo (earth).
In regards to what weapons and artifacts to use for what characters you can either read their talent to see what they do and what they need (atk, hp, def) or just look it up online. There are some good 3 star weapons and some great 4 star weapons that you can farm for.
Best way to build a character is to start with lvl then talent, weapon and lastly artifacts since artifact farming is a gamble in itself.
Highly recommend you collect anything and everything you can get, don't worry about inventory there is a *lot* of space.
The tutorials that you didn't have time to read as well as all the other tutorials you got are available to revisit and each one you go through give a primogem.
57:37 yes it's a respawn point in case you die and in some domains it let's you change out characters and teams.
Resin respawns over time so best thing is to use it to farm stuff like mora, exp books and character based materials like bosses and talent books. Artifacts can wait until you're around rank 16-18 but it's not something you need to stress about until like past rank 35 honestly.
Things like fragile resin that you can exchange for 60 resin are best saved until after rank 45 if you wanna use it for artifacts. Reason for that is because that's when you can start getting 5 star artifacts which are the best artifacts you can get.
Also highly recommend you explore and get as many teleportations you can get and some stuff can be exchanged like sigils at shops and ocules can be given to statues which can also heal your characters if you don't have any food items.
Best teacher is experience if you have any specific questions you can either ask or Google, we'll help out and enjoy your journey in this vast world!
As far as currency goes you basically want to spend everything on *Intertwined Fates,* the special purple wishes. These allow you to pull on the event banners, which are limited time until their rerun.
The only currency that you might want to save is the *Masterless Starglitter,* which can be used to get a select character or weapon by itself.
The weapons you can get for Masterless Starglitter are basically never worth it though. I do agree that saving it for specific characters can be a good idea, especially because Xingqiu, Bennett and Fischl are in there sometimes (unfortunately no Sucrose).
Ningguang main for 3 years, she is always fun to use. She has a bit of a tech, which might be annoying sometimes. If you tap or press "W" at the right time after an attack - she will attack faster. After a normal attack lands you can do charge attack without stamina consumption and her charge attack also cancels normals, so they flow nicely. Normal attacks could be canceled with her E, Q and dodge as well, making it 5 options with W, Charge, E, Dodge, Q - without it she might feel slow, but as soon as you start canceling her normals and get into rotation, she is fun and fast. Also when pressing Q while her E is on the field her Q damage is 40% higher.
30:00 those are Genshin’s 3rd anniversary gifts. You came in at a good time
Dang, you started with a Bennett~ He is the best support and will be good in many teams you may want to play in the future. Highly recommend investing in him. The Wolfs Gravestone is a great weapon. It is Diluc's signature weapon but it is good on other characters too. I won't confuse you with too much info though. ^_^
Oh- and Kaeya is awesome. There is a bit of bias since he is still my main after almost 3 years of playing but he is very versatile. Though I always recommend you play the characters you like the most despite what people may tell you about them. Every character can be good if you invest into them enough and will be just fine for the main story and over world enemies. A lot of people might tell you "meta" characters are the only way and any other character is not good but it's just not true. They only time you might want to worry about it is if and when you decide to do the Abyss content which is not necessary for the game. It is a gauntlet that at higher floors is meant to test your characters and team composition.
I hope you have fun with the game. The combat is really fun once you start to get the hang of how the elements work together and how each character works together.
I would suggest saving the starglitter to get Razor, Wolf's Gravestone is good on him, he's a good early game DPS too
Wolfs Gravestone the best all-around Claymore in the game.
Its fantastic on several characters, great on most and still pretty good on the rest.
Its not really bad on anyone.
Its a fantastic pull.
Congratulations 😃
0:53 - 0:60 welcome to genshin verifypact
quick tips on wishing/ pulling in the game:
(Keep in mind it costs 160 for a single pull with primogems and 1600 for a 10 pull on any of the banners)
- The banner with Neuvillette and Hu Tao are FEATURE character banners, these banners last around 3 weeks and you have a chance of pulling the characters there.
- The weapon banner is also there around 3 weeks and have a separate pity system from the FEATURE character banner
- The other banner you used your pulls in is the standard banner, not usually good to use primogems there since you cannot get any FEATURE characters there, so you really on pull on that when you have the fates for it (which are the little blue orbs you see in the banner next to the primogems)
- How pity works since it's a Gacha game is that the character banners guarantee you a 5 star after 90 pulls but on average you should be able to get a 5 star around 70 unless you're really lucky and get it early. Pity continues even if the banner changes by the way as long as it's the same banner type your are pulling in (FEATURE, Weapon, Standard)
That's about it though, if you have any other questions I'm sure someone can fill you in I've done my part ~~
no way you got a 5 star on your first 10 pull!! you're so lucky
Lucky you, started at the best moment you could. (You get free rewards from the 3year anniversary right now)
You got so lucky with that first pull. You got a 5* which is extremely rare for that early and one of the best 4* in bennett.
I’m crying… this man is so lucky….
I've never seen someone pause it before right as Dvalin flew over, did you unpause or did the game do that?
i hope u continue your journey, traveler. until we reach the end of our journey. thanks for this stream
I'm so jealous. The fact that I've been playing the game for years now and haven't gotten a single 5 star weapon and this guy just started and casually gets not only a 5 star weapon within his first 10 pull on standard banner, but also two 4 star characters as well..... And because he is new, he's just like, "Guys is this good?" Bruh😭😭😭
THIS IS WORTH READING
verry important reguarding primogems currency !!!
if the star show gold it means u got a 5*
Please only spend primogems on the limited character banner .And IF ... IF u want to on the weapon banner
But thats ur choice
1 .banners:
there are 4 banners right now on your wishing screnn 1st is beginner banner not really worth puling because ur pity (2)isnt countet on the standart banner .
then there are 2 time/5* exlusive character banners right now neuvilette and hu tao. these charter banners wil have a rerun so it will NOT happen that if u dont pull that they will never come back. Both hu tao and neuvilette are very good. In my opinion u should pull for whoever u want all 5*will eventually have a rerun.
then there is the STANDART Banner ( the banner u did ur 1st 10 pull on ).
on the standart banner u can get weapons like the wolfs gravedstone and many more (Normally u wont get a5*in the 1st 10 pull ur super lucky im abit jealous)
on the standart banner u can also get charachters like jean ,diluc, qiqi, keqing, tighnary, dehya (maybe i forgot to list some there)
2:pity
on every banner u are guranteed a 4* character /weapon in 10 pulls
A /on the limitet character banner u are guaranted A 5*in 90 pulls .if u dont get the character that u can see on the banner it means u lost ur 50/50. In a 180 pulls u are GUARANTED the 5 *on the Banner.
U often dont have to do 90 pulls . On 74 pulls ur chance of getting a 5* is increased by a few percent. Every time u do 1pull it gets increased (every banner ). When u get a character ur pity is resettet. It can also happen that u can get a5*i just 1 pull. Depends on ur LUCK.
B / the WEAPON banner (WOULD DEFENITLY NOT RECOMED PULLING IF U DONT WANT TO SPEND MONEY!!!)
on the weapon banner ur chance of getting the 5* that u set ur course on is a 33/33/33 so in worst cenario youll get the weapon THAT U SET UR COURSE On in 270 pulls.
In other words u are guaranteed the weapon that u charted ur course on is in 270 pulls let that sink in.
Again only worth pulling if u are wiling to spend money
C / Standart banner
u are guaranteed a 5* after 90 pulls . May be a weapon (like the one u got wolfs gravestone) or a character . if u dont get a 5*character in 2 times pulling a 5* u are guranteed a 5* character in the 3rd golden pull
D /Beginer banner
i am sorry i will not include the beginner banner it took me i belive an hoour to write this but i would recomend not pulling on it
hope this will be helpfull and that u understood it
Havea nice time Playing Genshin ;)
BRO GOT MY DREAM 5 STAR WEAPON IN HIS FIRST PULL T_T
Early game tips [AR 1-25]
-Pick up everything you find
-Artifacts don't matter just equip anything you like.
-Hunt world boss for level up character [If you can, its hard early on]
-Don't spend Primogem on standard banner [the one you pull in this vdo], unless you have blue orb to wish.
-Level up blue tier weapons for now.
-Read tutorials
Welcome to Genshin
Something so fun about watching people play Genshin for the first time, I just love it. If you think Mondstadt is beautiful just wait til you see the later regions and cities, it only gets more breathtaking. You seem like the type to enjoy exploring, so this is perfect for you.
the twins are both canon but lumine got chosen to be the"bad" twin in the trailers
fun fact, the two outfits for amber are both the censored and uncensored version of her outfit (one has more detailed booba )
People tend to mix up Rapiers and Foils.
A Rapier is very much a "full blown sword".
For reference, I would say the "Sword of Favonius" is probably supposed to be a Rapier class sword.
It might be a bit short but the design is very much that of a Rapier.
Really happy see to you discover this game and play one of my favorite game and I hope you enjoy playing.
And can I friend you once you play again.
Seeing Mondstadt again makes me feel so nostalgic omg
NAH that's a cracked first 10 pull. congrats!
I hope you enjoy playing the game
To get the most enjoyment out of the combat its important to learn about elemental reactions and how to build teams, it seems simple on the surface but its fairly complex once you dig into it. You dont need to play the "meta" teams, and you should always play the characters YOU enjoy playing. How the elements interact with each other, how the characters skills function and what role they play is whats important.
Okay, I’ll keep that on mind as well, thank you
Aint no way your 3rd pull was a 5 star, and pretty much the most versatile claymore too, it's most claymore character's 2nd-3rd best weapon. Congrats tho, the odds of that happening is 0.6%.
Bennett is also an amazing pull. 5 star in the disguise of 4 star. Amazing healer and gives a fat attack buff as well. He's in contention to be top 5 best characters in the game even among the 5 stars. Top 5 imo being Kazuha, Bennett, Xingqiu, Yelan, Nahida. Eventually, the game also gives Xiangling for free, she's one of the best pyro dps alongside Hu Tao. Bennett has fantastic synergy with her.
Another thing, you actually picked a pretty good time to join the game since 3rd anniversary is coming and you will get freebies as 4.1 goes on. (Though the rewards suck by anniversary standards)
!!!
A Gold 10-pull first time! That is really good luck! And a Wolf's Gravestone to boot! I've been playing since about launch and still don't have that one!!!
Gravestone is good on Diluc if you ever get him - but it's decent on other claymore users as well.
Just be careful with wishing, you can potentially miss use your fates and primos, if you care about efficiency as a f2p player. I'd type out a simple reference for you now but I don't want to overwhelm you on your first video ^^; I played mostly f2p when starting and still kinda do the same routine as a light spender now and then so I hope to help you out in future comments!
I'm glad you're enjoying things so far! And I hope that you enjoy the story as it progresses. It's kinda like FFXIV that as it goes on it gets better and better! Plus the lore goes even deeper than the main story so it can appeal to the more casual players at the same time.
so lucky first pull!!!
besides the 4* and 5*. I also suggest you to build Harbinger of Dawn (the best 3* sword)
Also bottom left for the cam would be ideal I think since your current setup covers the minimap.
I would say check the tutorials screen just cuz it gives you extra primos :3
38:16 “I kinda wish there was a clear all button” - you don’t have to click every individual voiceline, but you DO need to go to both tabs (the second one is the combat lines). Doing that will clear the exclamation point there even if you don’t listen to any of them.
About the elements, Anemo, Geo and Dendro are a bit special, they don't react to each other
Geo reaction is crystallize, it can react with any element(except Anemo and dendro), and create a shard, if you pick a shard you gain a elemental shield
Anemo is swirl, it can react with any element(except Geo and Dendro), it will spread the element to the nearby area, inflicting it on enemies and other stuff.
Dendro is more complex, it react with Pyro, Electro and Hydro, with Pyro it causes burn dealing damage over time, with Electro it causes a reaction that buffs the next reaction of Dendro or Electro, with Hydro it creates a seed that explodes after some time, the seed can react with Pyro or electro, causing other 2 reactions
The other elements are more intuitive and simple(the reaction is the same regardless of what element you use first)
Hydro+Electro deals damage over time
Hydro+pyro is evaporate, basically the attack gives more damage
Pyro+Electro is overload, basically a explosion
Pyro+cryo is melt, the attack gives more damage
Cryo+Hydro frozen, it freezes enemies, but don't work on bosses
Cryo+electro reduce physical resistance
Hitting a frozen enemy with a claymore is shatter, it gives some extra damage and break the ice
I'm AR 55 and haven't gotten Wolf's gravestone....
Seriously it has to be a conspiracy, almost every streamer hits a gold on their first ten pull😶
Congratulations on your ten Pull and definitely look forward to get a claymore DPS.
And welcome to genshin impact, I hope you get a memorable journey, I have enjoyed it ever since version 2.1.
My only suggestion to you is when it comes to spending primogems never use them on the blues only the purples.
And if you can abstract from it then maybe save up for a character you absolutely want in the near future.
I know it's hard but I'm definitely at that point where I skip multiple banners to get to a character I hope to gain
Tbh i too had gotten a 5 star in my first 10 pull during kazuha's rerun... ye it was kazuha himself lol at AR 5
@@kizukinoeren5066
Oh don't get me wrong I know that there's no conspiracy I was just joking😁 and I have had luck myself just not that early on.
In fact though I had to go through 80 wishes each time I did manage to win 50/50 twice on neuvillette.
