I’m so happy you like the sweatshirt! Also the ironing tip is so real it makes me act like a crazy person with my own costumes but it makes them look so much neater in pictures or if you’re onstage. And I’ve been trying to think of ways to add extra details to my costumes too
Ok listen you're right about the ironing thing, it truly and really does improve the look, however: how dare you tell me to iron anything no I will not ❤️
I have made a Hatsune Miku ''leek'' prop out of cardboard and a long strip of wood, and it works SO GOOD! its super pretty and I have wrote my number and stuff if I lose it, and I'm so excited to use it for a convention.
This helped so much, thanks! I am gonna cosplay as Yashiro Nene, and its all thanks to you for inspiring me! This will be my first ever cosplay, I will share updates soon :3
The prop tip!! I never realised how important props can be until my current cosplay... cosplaying a character who's a hologram and can't touch physical objects. I'm still trying to think whether I could take some creative license with him and give him a prop anyway - but since he never holds anything in canon it's super hard to think of ideas!
Another easy way to steam. Put it on a hook in your bathroom and take an extremely long. Hot. Bath/shower. Followed by a cold blast while the water is still hot. It may take some trial and error finding the steamiest spot in your bathroom but if its a contained and small enough bathroom it should work wonders. AND its relaxing.
what i learned: i should start ironing my cosplays, i made a good decision bying a haed band, i schould make more pops, work on the costumes not just the wigs. so thank you very mutch
Great video, thanks for the advice! I'm wearing my first "cosplay"(it's more like some make up, facepaint, and some fake ears but eh-) to my first con next week! I'm excited to keep working on it as you said, and upgrading the things I create is honestly one of my favourite things to do lol.. Sadly I didn't have time to sew anything etc, since we just decided to go a week ago, but I think it'll still be fun :D
Also! Here's some tips! - If you dont have a steamer or iron, toss some water on it, and put it in the shower. It works exactly like a steamer does and it gets all the wrinkles out! -PIN YOUR WIGS this seriously is a game changer. I didn't for a while and it was really annoying. This can also be an alternative for a wig grip. - If you are using a prop at conventions, then get or make a holder for it. If it's something like a staff or a sword, you can strap it to your back or let it hang at your side. This gives you that extra hand back. -LOOK UP MAKEUP TIPS. Makeup can be super hard, but it makes a huge difference. For some characters their makeup makes them that character. So look up tutorials and tips. - Find staple pieces. For a lot of cosplays, you can use props, clothes, and accessories from other cosplays. - If you want to make studs on armour, use googly eyes, you can take out the loose eye part and make them into armour studs. Its a cheap way to do it and it works. All you have to do is paint them. - ITS OK TO USE CHEAP SUPPLIES. I can not express this enough. You can use dollar store supplies to make your cosplays. If you put in the effort, you can take a cheap thing from the dollar store and turn it into something that looks like it cost a lot. All you have to do is go to the dollar store and think outside the box, then put in a lot of effort. But it is worth it in the end. I really hoped this helped. Have a great day!!
Question: how do you prevent/manage wrinkles while at a con? Cause I always iron my cosplays before I where them but no matter what there's this one cosplay where when I look back at the pictures from the day its super wrinkly
Unfortunately some fabrics wrinkle much more than others! I love Downy Wrinkle Release, I swear it's like a magic potion. They sell it in travel sized bottles so you could bring it with you!
Hello, i've recently started building my cosplay as my con is 2 months away, mine uses a helmet with a visor, i very quickly ran into the fogging problem, I've heard that some people use soap to minimis it but that could give some people headaches, do you have any advice on how i could deal with the fog?
Hello miss Chelle!! I have a important question, will it be safe if I cosplay Barbatos from Genshin impact at a convention? (Also I’m an underaged cosplayer) btw I love your sweater so much :D
From my experience, I think as long as you maybe have shorts on under a skirt or loose fabric you’ll be okay. Always go with someone or multiple someone’s.
I’m stupidly detailed- I can’t not be a perfectionist 🤡👍 I’ve only gotten to do one cosplay as Dr. Egon Spengler (because of family) and I made a life sized proton pack out of cardboard (took about three days 🤡)

(pssst the gems on SheRa are literally scrapbook boarder stickers from the dollar tree ANYTHING IS POSSIBLE!)

Okay but ironing really does help I swear, however you're so right it's boring AF

I’m a beginner cosplayer and I get bored with ironing but it improves my cosplays a lot!

Do you have a link to the specific wig grip you purchased? Amazon can be a real hit or miss depending on the listing you're purchasing from.

They make anti-fog spray and film for motorcycle helmets! You can find it online for around $10 ☺️
@@ChelleBelleCosplay i did not know a product existed, thank you
Totally agree! I'm always shocked how they can just take out a costume and wearing it without ironing 😁
This is what i need to see as a cosplayer
My only cosplay is Ibuki Mioda and I just use my electric guitar as a prop. DANG, it's such a pain to carry around.
That is great to hear the tips! ❤️
I clicked on this video once i saw the staff, is it the staff of monomi/usami?
