A hearty welcome to my UA-cam Channel "Metro Rails and Trains," which presents the latest insights on the subject of metro rails, Indian Railways, and other rapid transits. My initial videos are focused on Bangalore Metro, but going forward, I will be diversifying my channel. Hope you all enjoy my videos. I request you to like, share, subscribe and comment on my videos, for me to stay motivated. More videos coming soon!
Love that there are finally Indian youtubers producing good content on public transport in the country, in English. I think the video resolution and audio quality need a lot of improvement but this is a great start
Thank you!
Amazing! One of the most detailed videos on the metro blue line that I have ever seen. Thank you for putting your efforts in creating such a wonderful video.
Thank you very much!
Woah. I did not expect an Indian youtube channel focused on public transport, let alone this good quality. Awesome.
Please considering covering buses too. Lots of interesting stories to be told there for sure.
i think you haven't properly explored Indian UA-cam, there are lot of channels delivering well researched educational content .This is one of them.
@@megalomaniachub3856 I certainly haven't. Please suggest me some like RMTransit and Not Just Bikes. I find urban transportation very fascinating.
@@megalomaniachub3856 I discovered RMTransit when they made a video covering Delhi and other India metro systems. Interesting stuff.
What a fantastic presentation ! You could not ask for more . Congrats to the team 👏
Thank you so much!
Even I have more and more confusions over the inter connection at the instance, your explanation makes me to watch again and again for a better understanding.
Your voice is so clear and crispy to hear as you explained in average pace. But to get a clear picture, one who has to watch your video again and again....
you did great job n performer...
Thank You for your great service ❤❤❤
Thank you so much for your appreciation! 😄😄
knowing bangalores work ethics I wonder how many years more itwill take to mae the metro work. i will not be surprised if more changes will take place in this plan.Mani
😂😂😂
Bro it's 80 percent done 😂
80 percent done??? I stay in North Bangalore. It is not even 20% done
Where are you from? Norway?
Oh no, nungambakkam 😅
I must say, great efforts in detailing the whole project. Thank you.
Thank you so much for your appreciation!
Very informative video. This gives the complete picture very clearly. Hope the Airport Metro coaches have the additional facility to place luggages as most Airport travellers will have luggage. Atleast each train set can have one car with the facility.
This is S tier work. Very well done! Glad to see Indian transit enthusiasts community growing.
Thank you very much for your appreciation! 😄
I am quite amazed at this fantastic video ... Big kudos to the team who made it!! I will surely share it with a few groups who are keenly interested in this line ...
Thank you so much for your appreciation!
Wow ! Madam what an excellent narrator you are. Hats off to you. You put life in your narration.
A very detailed video indeed. I wondered what they will possibly add in 31 minutes but honestly your team has justified the length of the video well with your content.
Thank you so much!
@@mrt_rails Exactly what I thought as well... In the beginning of the video around 2-3 min mark, I checked and the video was 31 mins... I was like, WHAT? what can possibly be there to talk about for so long... but as the video went along, at each stage I was like, yeah, this is important info, this is also important and before I knew it, it was the end.
Great video, detailed and well presented also! Keep it up! Subscribed!
Such a beautiful informative video. Well presented and narrated. It's for the first time that I am having so much clarity on this project and the areas it covers. As a Bangalorean, its important. Do make such videos on every proposed and ongoing infrastructure project in Bangalore. Best wishes.
Thank you so much for your appreciation!
Wow! Phenomenally detailed presentation, invaluable - thank you so much!
Thank you so much for your appreciation! I am glad that you liked my video. 😃😃
Thanks for the detailed video.
The most detailed video on Bangalore metro.. kudos!!

Bang On!
Explained very well

Very informative video. Thank you and keep up the good work!
Thank you so much for your appreciation! 😃
Great initiative indeed!!! This is the kind of journalism we need
Thank you so much!
Great video.... Read many articles, need reports but this audio visual experience was what i needed to comprehend the plans... Great video
Thank you very much! 😃
Very nicely explained with complete details. Thank you 🙏
Thank you very much!
It is a very detailed video on the metro. Good effort. Gives a glimpse of the metro history and what we can expect in the future. The reason why the traffic speed is a mere single digit kms per hour has nothing to do with infra. It is the incompetence of the local administration, traffic cops and authorities on managing traffic that we have such dismal numbers. There are places across the world where the roads aren't as wide and the traffic density is higher, but the flow of traffic is well regulated. I hope all these money thrown on metro has a real impact on the ground.
Thanks for your appreciation! Yes, traffic doesn't mainly depend on infra, however infra also has a role and that is why highlighted in this video.
Thank you for the detailed information. Excellent video
Thank you so much!
Very comprehensive, very educative. Excellent presentation, simple down to earth explanation. 👏👏
Kudos to the vlog team.
Thank you so much for your appreciation! 😄😄
There is a change in Phase 2B, they have already constructed the pillar right in Infront of jakkur airport, but here it's mentioned as 400 meters of the underground.
Great video, the thorough research is evident. Good job! I hope channels like yours will get more exposure, it is absolutely great
Thanks a lot for your kind words!
Ur video was amazing I got a lot of information thank u soo much, it was very helpful.
Thank you so much!
Very nice trip .. we could catch the flight on time ..

Very good informative video. Thank You
Thank you!
Excellent and very informative ❤
Thank you so much!
Perfect explanation
Simply amazing!
Thank you!
very informative and well made 🎉
Thank you so much!
Beautiful video......pleasee dwell on various otherr infrastructure projects too in Bangalore.. it will be nice if you cab make videos on road infrastructure by BBMP......they will be then accountable
I wonder why they didn't plan a metro while constructing the airport itself, the land acquisition cost would've been much less back then. I was also surprised at the completion date of 2026, seeing the progress and use of U girders I thought it would be sooner.
Due to delay in Production of metro Coaches.
We enjoyed this video❤🎉
We want Pink line video 🥰
Thanks! Will make the Pink Line video soon
Great video very informative
Thank you!
nice visuals and good info
Thanks!
Nagawara to airport extension of pink line is also under consideration as many residential layouts apartments are located on route Bagaluru - hynachur.
It's a pity that they're not planning to run express services on this new airport line..
They should've considered this as it's a long line which will take considerable time to complete the journey end to end.
No match for an express or non stop, still the trains are fast and there will be fewer stops on the Airport line.
well researched.. thanks
Thank you!
brilliant
Very well explained
Thank you!
This should have been 1st priority..linking city railway stn too..
Line doesn't go underground near Jakkur airstrip, it stays elevated.
You are right. They have already erected the pillars. No underground section at Jakkur.
Good info
Make a similar video on pink line 😊

V.Good video from How vajrahali Metro Green line connecting to Airport line.
Central Bangalore has very tiny roads, more digging for this airport line would mean more inconvenience to public, good that they connected it to a existing line. Now we need to develop more city's to decongest Bangalore, just adding metro lines won't help.
Nagavara line is mostly underground that passes through the city.. have you encountered much inconvenience on the underground stretch during it's construction?
There' less inconvenience when you compare the elevated stretches..
@@jj2000100 metro work is still going on in central bangalore, the roads have become even more narrow due to metro boards, also MG road has lost it's charm because of the metro pillars, look at old pictures of the same road it looked so nice & wide.
@@Albetroz1415 i agree that metro work is still going on in central parts of Bangalore but the obstruction caused is not much when you compare with the construction of elevated stretches.
And yes, MG road has lost it's old charm.. They should've put that stretch underground..
Broad roads do not decrease traffic.
Great work! You explained it very well. Waiting for the Pink Line video!
Thanks a lot! Pink Line video in the making...
Very Nice explanation...Where exactly Yelahanka stop is?....is it near Yelahanka Police Station or Yelahanka old town?
👍👍🙏🙏
Many of us can’t wait till 2026, there is a super urgency to find ways to get from KIAL to Vidhana Soudha for all types of professional work - governmental, corporate, legal - the list is endless. A video that compares how various options available today - December 2023 - using the metro, combined with other forms of traffic, is urgently needed. The goal is in saving costs and time.
Thank you
"This is not a dream anymore. In a few years, we'll get a metro to the airport." It still sounds like a dream to me.
Well researched. It would have been great if you had added timeliness for contracts and final unnauguration of Blue line. Wonder , what part of this changes with new Govt
Thanks for the suggestions!
timelines for Bangalore-Even Krishna Paramathma would not dare to respond
Are you the professor of English from MES? I didn't want to mention the name. Just curious. The voice is so familiar. Ha ha. Great videos. Cheers!
On boarding blue line with family and luggage for airport will be a challenge especially during 9-11am and 5-8pm
Good but please make a detailed video on the suburban railway line more are anxious for that then the metro
Surprising that noone talking about how people going to carry luggages in metro.
Namma metro charges extra baggage charges in metro journey. The amount is so much that people will prefer to pay for taxi instead
great info :) one question - The image shown for Silk board junction - both stations are together. the one you have explained is 300m . Which is correct in this ??
The image shows the old plan of the Silk Board Junction. I have explained the new plan of the junction, which is being followed, so the one I've explained is correct.
U girders is the reason why Blue Line will get started on time. The same technology should be used on new routes to finish metro work on time as the outer ring road already shows sign of bridge construction getting completed.
A RRTS type model is required to connect Anekal - HCL Jigani - Electronic city - Sarjapur- Varthur - Whitefield - Hoskote - KIA Airport
The mainroads around Kempapura need to be widened ASAP. There are many schools and colleges that are near it. These roads especially Kempapura mainroad was identified for widening almost a decade ago. The 4 time MLA is too busy to allow BBMP to execute it.
Such a detailed information, thank you.
Any more information about Suburban rail kride project.
Also, 3A,3B metro project.
Thanks! I already have a video of Phase 3 Metro on my channel. You can search for it on my channel and watch it.
very informative video, thank you , can you make a video on construction update of airport metro station pls?

So much info
At silk board, is it not both blue line and yellow line stations together? The model you showed is also shows that metro line goes over existing silk board flyover. While explaining you say it is 300m apart and have FOB.
what will be the cost per ticket for a person travelling from Central Silk BBoard to KIAL. how much kgs of Luggage will be allowed per person on Metro? what happens during rainy seasons? will there be connectivity frpm Central silk board to nearby places like Bannerghatta / Kanakapura/ Sarjapura / Electronic city/Jigani /
to generate some Revenue why doesn't these metro Train service groups start fastfood and other shops in all Metro stations which are functional today?
Awaiting for the metro rail and suburban rail to get ready soon for airport, IT hubs and industrial estate soon. Bangalore traffic is becoming worse
as a person from bangalore im a chennai fan
Need a video on proposed metro after orange and hebbal - sarjapura line and the metro line which where dropped due

Sri.They should contact From Hablue to yeswantpur. For people going to South Bangalore
No doubt there's lot of hardworking done, and commendable job on delivering content, which isn't easy. Although I appreciate a non native of Bengaluru provides us the information, it would have been nice a little more efforts were taken to pronounce names of places correctly, as natives hear them they would find it hard to continuously hear wrong pronunciations of the places. I rather compliment you greatly for bringing this content, but pronunciations aren't something that would just go unnoticed.
Near jakkur airport, it is not underground, it is elevated
Airport line supposed to have different typed of seating and luggage space arrangements. Did BMRCL plan the type of trains ? Or they plan just the same type of cars for Airport also which is impractical since the journey is long and passenger will carry luggage.
Please also make video on Sarjapur hebbal line.
Pl post video on proposed Whitefield -hoskote metro line and tentative date of completion
Thanks 🙏🙏🙏
😊bangalore can itself be a 1 trillion dollar economy in the next 10 years.
Govt needs to provide super connectivity with signal free roads, metro, local train,Rapid rail.
Develop satellite towns around bangalore.
Manglore & Udpi me bhi metro 🚇 bana na chaiye please 🙏
bro they are too small.. Metro need alot of money metro can't even recollect the money back... Atleast 1 million people are needed for metro.. Only Hubli dharwad has 1+ million population after bengaluru in karnataka.
I think that constructing elevated metro near jakkur aerodrome is not a problem since the airport flyover is right next to it and doesnt bother the runaway activities
And i think there r no plans for that underground stretch since they have already cast piers in that section
Yup, its running parallel to the elevated corridor to the airport.
What about metro extension from Madavara to Nelamangala (Green Line)
Due to heavy urbanisation the traffic is becoming worst in Nelamangala and Jalahalli surrounding areas
Metro should be the priority instead of two wheelers.
Fare should be very very reasonable like Mumbai local train.
Entire family should want to travel together.
BMRCL should look for other means to raise revenue and not depend only on fare collection.
Update abt namma metro phase 3🙏🏻🙏🏻pla
The model of silkboard shows blue line station next to yellow's and your saying its on the other of the road...xD!
The model is the old plan of the Silk Board Junction. I have explained the new plan of the junction, which is being followed.
The govt cancelled 5000 cr fast metro from MG Road to Airport and opted for three times costlier slow metro rail. I am sure this slow metro will take at least 2 hrs to reach the airport. These projects are built to raise certain areas land and project costs and not for public convenience.
Passing in front of Jakkur Aerodome, the metro is being built elevated and not underground.
Why are so many trains required for phase 2B? Would it be a viable option?
Traffic in Bengaluru has NOT ALWAYS been a problem.
correction - the metro is not underground at jakkur. it is elevated and i see pillars already put up.
Every locality of bangalore should be connected by metro.
whrn will it be ready for cimmuters?
Bengaluru is the only city with
Bus , Railway , Metro Station in starts. In center of city....
