      I have a feeling Kevin Bacon has more than a few stories that would make his friends laugh at someone calling him a "grounded gentlemen." Could be, though. He's been with the same woman for years and doesn't seem to get into too much trouble.

    Kevin Bacon and Kyra Sedgwick are so sickeningly sweet that it's like having a hyperactive panic attack made of Sucrose?!
    I can't believe he made Footloose work he was so miscast but somehow still made it work. But my favourite Kevin Bacon movie was Murder in the First with Christian Slater.
    If you've never seen it, which not many did, it's really hard to watch but so worth it. Ultimately it's a fish out of water buddy movie in the most harsh environment possible. And Kevin was so good he even managed to get Christian Slater to actually attempt to act for the duration of a Movie.

    • @HoldenNY22
      @HoldenNY22 2 роки тому +1

      I saw "Murder in the First" a number of years ago. If I remember the Movie- he played agaisnt type- a [person wrongly convicted serving a long Prison sentence who If I remember the Movie is so Traumatized by being in Prison and being burtalized in Prison that he goes insane and kills somone/ Kevin Bacon is cast against type becfause he plays a very weak, damaged character. Crhistian Slater is his Defense Attorney if I remember the Movie.
      I, personally liked him or really hated his character, but he did a good job playing an evil character in Wild Things where he played a Cop who at the end of the Movie- we learn is very corrupt and Evil.

      I'm not so sure I agree with you that Kevin Bacon was miscast in "Footloose". I just re-watched the 2011 remake of "Footloose" starring Kenny Wormald. If Kevin Bacon was miscast, then Kenny Wormald was even more of a miscasting. Wormald delivered many of the same lines that Kevin Bacon did, and Wormald's performance was far worse, in my opinion.

    Well today actors and actresses don't need to repeat same scene over and over to be shoot from multiple angles, they have cameras and technology to shoot from multiple angles immediately. That's why we respect old school actors and actresses much more than today's. It was far far far more exhausting before.

      Not really. They might have a couple, but all cameras and angles have to be lit separately. They still do lots of takes.

      @@badbirdkc They at least do half less, that's huge. That's why we have movies made and shot much faster. Before actors hated to do sequels, because they couldn't play in many other projects and had to turn them down because schedules overlapped and were at same time, because shootings were much longer, today they don't have so much problems because they can easily do their scenes at one project and easily start with other. It's far far far easier today.

      @@MarioCindric Oh, and generally speaking, sequels suck. That is most likely why actors don't want to do them.
