    on straight grain woods, I joint them with a handplane, you get cleaner seams that way, I only use a router when I an doing figured stuff

    Are you making those veneers in house? I have been using the jointer to straighten a side but will have to try the router since I have that exact bit already. I like the term "micro shaker" haven't heard it before. Are the panel insides just an mdf sheet? Have you used the plywood with a core and a thin layer of mdf on the outsides for laminating?     Why do you screw up into the crown pieces rather than down? Unless you don't have the room to get up there, it'd hide the screws.

    The micro shakers have any loss of strength? I imagine there's not a lot of room for Dominos.

    What type of MDF do you use for veneering and is it different from your painted MDF? Is there a better grade then you were standardized MDF?

    I'm still confused on the whole barber pole effect. Maybe I'm just watching too late...
