The concept of graded assistance is phenomenal. Enabling them to participate in activities create a good feel

It is a credit to staff how they interact with each person and their different needs

Question, as I am not an expert in this type of field: If a challenging behavior is hitting others, biting or kicking, how do you manage that?
Again, I am not an expert in this field

I'm also no expert, but from what I can contribute, I'd say it could be useful to find out more why the person displays those challenging behaviors; often times there's an underlying reason and it could be that some needs of this persons are not being met. A good Support worker may be able to help identify these needs and plan the paths/programs/actions to help this persons needs be accessed and achieved.

@@durianyao being Autistic myself I was around handicapped people all the time and observed challenging behavior that was violent.
One time I sat across from a guy on the bus who had the genetic disorder 4P Minus (can't spell the medical term) who was clinically paranoid. He would always hit people (mainly me for some reason).
