God fa MJ NV this man is fine too.i just seen charlie with mark hummel and the boys.shit another great gone fuck fuck fuck I want a be next please Jesus!!!!!!!!!!!!!!@
Used to go see him & the Nightcats frequently. Had a brief conversation with him about a Fender custom shop guitar they made for him. Real down to earth guy. Sorry to hear of his passing.
There should be thousands, hundreds of thousands, millions of views. Little Charlie and Anson in top form and paying a wonderful homage to Albert Collins.
This makes me want to throw all my guitars in the river. These guys are incredible. So cool to see them playing together. Two masters making it look way too easy. Fantastico!!!
Two of the best, no-nonsense blues guitarists around! Both of them are criminally underrated, as far as I'm concerned. Their versatility and taste are on a whole different level than most of today's guitarists.
Holy smokes what memories! These 2 guys come thru Indiana regularly in the late 80's-90's with their respective bands "... The Nightcats" and "...The Rockets with Sam Myers". Sam always dressed sharp and seemingly had trouble walking up the ramp to the stage. But that voice of his...wow One quick stories from memory: Nightcats were playing in a bar called The Peanut Gallery in Bloomington, IN around early 90's. This place was kind of dump as it wasn't very big, looked unclean, smoky, and the stage was only about 6 inches above the floor. When I scramble for a bathroom break, Rick Estrin already there using one of the two scummy urinals. He turns his head aside to me and with a frowned face and says something like, "man, this place needs some ren-o-vat-tion". Then zipped up the fly on his slacks and went out for next set.
Little Charlie opens with two minutes and 45 seconds of pure Albert Collins. He owns it, it's perfect, totally freakin' "Frosty," but when it's over, two or three people in the crowd make just a leeeetle bit of noise. Whaaa???? Don't hurt yourself, folks!
RIP CHARLIE BATY ONE OF THEE GREATS FOR SURE
In the great late Albert Collins tradition. Little Charlie WILL be missed. God rest his soul.....R.I P
What terrible news :(
Hey, we are all better because we knew him! R.I.P.

Rick Estrin is not only a fantastic harp player, but he's a goodwill ambassador of the blues and all around good guy.
The differences in tone are so California/Texas. Love it.
