Ever notice how Charlie always looked up while playing? I always wondered if he was looking at people in the crowd or if he was chasing some musical idea in his head? Great entertainer, so sorry I never got to see him in person
I noticed that about him when i saw him. He looked above the crowd alotta times and you could see a distant look in his eyes like he was in his own world. Charlie was the man

I had the great fortune to see him a few months before he died in Luxembourg. He cranked it out. What a showman!
