I remember when this was going on, it was horrible! I live in New Orleans Louisiana and I have a sister that lives around the block from one of the victims. My sister was so terrified that my husband and I had to go stay with her for a while until he was caught. Prayers 🙏 to the victims and their families.
Im a Gonzales La native, born and bred. I moved away for a while just about the same time he was gearing up. Why do i feel this was profound? I met him once and he creeped me out. Many years later I dated someone who worked with him and gave him a ride a couple of times. He told me the guy was weird but he never would have thought he could have done those things. Ive always felt he was capable. Ptsd from him and a few other issues and ... I did a lot of research on the guy. He no doubt was the man i thought he was. I lived in a townhouse 4 doors down from Charlotte Murray Pace. I came home from my morning class at LSU and cops had taped off our whole street. It was terrible. It was a very scary time to live in BR.
It was a victory for the physic. The law enforcement guy’s ego is beyond ridiculous. They could have saved so many lives if he would have dropped his ego at the door….. And then at the end he still claims a victory for himself. Ugh -
Derrick Todd Lee died in a hospital on January 21, 2016, where he had been transferred for treatment of heart disease. He was awaiting execution at the Louisiana State Penitentiary (Angola). He was 47 years old.
Oh good at the end you tell all pschos out there that this town now leaves their house doors open again. Do better. Rephrase info to not help the bad guys.
Derrick Todd Lee was my classmate, he used to sit behind me in one class & would play with my hair. I didn't like him doing it but he never failed to do it several times a week no matter how often I told him to stop. He told me he liked how “white girls” had such soft hair he could run his fingers through. My older sister finally confronted him about his touching me & told him it had better stop or she’d talk to the principal. Long story short, my parents got me moved out of the class but I always felt the ick when we crossed paths in the halls. It could have been purely innocent at that age(teens) but when it came out about him being a suspect & on the run, I freaked out because he lived, not quite two miles from me.
Shocking wen the police get payed and they are doing there job just a good thing they cared about the victim s the publicity is worth more to them than the victim and I am seeing this every were and the people murdered . And they turn a blind eye

mea117 - It was wonderful you and your husband helped your sister. What a great family 💗
@@mea117 I am glad she had you two looking out for her. This was a nightmare for most women, especially those living alone.
One of the victims was a friend, best friend of my college roommate. Still doesn’t seem real
Well done to Ann Williams and psychic Jeanne Borgen! They never gave up!
The Police were so stubborn and wouldn't listen to the psychic. They could have saved all of those poor women who were killed by this horrible man
roseoreillysievers6057 - One day they will sit with our Source, God, Whoever is in charge, and they will have to account for their behavior.

sdottolo100 - Thank God you were safe. 🫂❤️
I am so happy the investigators shook off the tunnel vision, which happens frequently.
Sean Vincent Gillis, another serial killer was operating in the Baton Rouge area at the same time. It was unsettling to say the least.
“That sketch don’t look like anybody on this planet!” The detective s great comment about the task forces horrible sketch!
Dam are they serious 🤦🏻♀️🤦🏻♀️ how many others died while the taskforce let pride stand in their way 🤬🤦🏻♀️
lynnetrathen4587 - I will be candid. Many police officers suck. I don't know why they enter the force other than for the pension.
They think psychics aren't real.

the name Derick Todd lee came to mind immediately

Nice worker ladies ... TY for not giving up and standing firm to find him. Well done.
If a psychic knows about the crime and how it happened, that psychic is now a suspect irl.

He was a light-skinned black male with a round face... in an area with half-a-million black men. I mean, what's the chance?
So much for the fbi
They really let these women down through their narrow mindedness
Did that task force apologise to the family of the murder victims for being narrow minded and blinked.
No. They called it a victory for law enforcement and the city. Blinkered or what?
karendooks6244 - You bet your ass they did not. 😂 Now why on Earth would they admit to fault?! 😂😂😂
Atrocious confirmation bias by police. RIP to the victims and those who died due to that bias.
Light skinned blk man then proceeds to show a dark skinned man 🤦🏿♀️
He didn't look like the psychic's sketch, and he wasn't light skinned, so.....

Why do women.alone answer the door. Especially if you don't know them. Call out to a person. Make believe. To answer the door. Preferably a man.
I thought you can tell from DNA what Caucasian a person is.
You mean, what race a person is?
