    I bought this system on your initial recommendation. I had been looking for a tire monitor system for a while but couldn't find one at a reasonable price. Like you I've had it nearly a year and no issues. I really like it's simplicity. Thanks for all you do to bring products like this to our attention.

    We have a Guta unit on our rig with about 8000 miles on it so far, roughly a 1.5 years. Great unit. Saved me on a short local run recently where I picked up a nail. Alerted before we had any issues or tore anything up.

    Great detailed review. Just what I needed to make a decision for a unit on my 18-wheeler. Thanks

    I bought the EEZ Tire system based on your review a while ago and am very happy with the performance.
    And………they have pass thru valves so I can add/subtract air without having to remove the sensor like these.
    That’s a BIG plus !
    Thank’ s Ray.

      I'm shopping right now. The Guta 8-sensor is on sale for $230 on Amazon. the EEZTire 8-flow-through-sensor model is $439 on Amazon. I'd like flow-through but do you think it's worth an extra $209? Also, the Guta comes with the repeater but the EEZTire doesn't (but my trailer is 26'' so I'm not sure if I need it). Thanks for any info!

      @@glenacord You shouldn't need it for that size trailer. My 5th wheel is 34' and we are 50' overall. No problems with connectivity.

    I bought the same one GT-701 with 4 sensors on Oct 2, 2022 and didn't install it until August 2023 and found during the programming it wouldn't properly store the codes. I called Guta a real person answered, they ran me through some trouble shooting steps still didn't work. I sent them some pictures and order information, then mailed it back to Guta. They asked for a tracking receipt, I sent the receipt and they imedietly sent me a replacement. Very good customer service.

    Thanks. I am using a 10 monitor EEZ Tire system. My experience with it is like yours. It works well. Batteries do need to be replaced annually. I have a 42-foot motor home, with the towed the rig is 65 feet and I have not needed a booster.

    Can you fill air into the tire without removing the sensor?
    Thanks for another great review.
    I have been thinking of purchasing a tire monitor system. I was going to buy the I10 that you last reviewed but not being able to see the monitor in full sun was a no go for me. But this tire monitor system is nice simple system.
    Thank you

      No, they aren't pass through type sensors. So you have to remove to add or remove air. Hasn't been an issue for me as my tires both truck and trailer seem to hold air very well, only added air once or twice in 9 months and didn't notice a huge change with elevation from sea level to 6500 feet during the last trip. It only changed a few PSI. Cheers, Ray

    Hi Ray, will this tire monitor give an audible warning that can be heard over the engine noise, when climbing a steep grade? I should probably get a tire monitoring system especially since our trailer is a single axle. Thanks

      Yes, its quite high pitched and piecing sound and the display flashes. Here is an example of the alert from the first video ua-cam.com/video/xfJFsIl_HcA/v-deo.html

    Question……are you using the rubber or metal valve stems ? Thanks for reviewing

    • @LoveYourRV
      @LoveYourRV  3 місяці тому

      My trailer wheels have metal stems installed but truck still has the OEM rubber stems. They are pretty beefy being on a big one ton truck tire but I'll likely change those to metal when I next get new tires. Cheers, Ray

    Ray, I have a 2021 Nissan Rogue that displays the tire pressure on the viewer screen in front of the driver but the tires don't have any visible attachments that look like a typical TPMS gadget. Any idea how this system works?

    • @LoveYourRV
      @LoveYourRV  2 роки тому +1

      The are likely inside the wheel type sensors, my truck as those as well. Have to take the tire off to get at them.

    what was your experience in relation to temps in the dessert. Expect to be going though the Mohave end of June. Where temps I expect to be in 100's

    • @LoveYourRV
      @LoveYourRV  Рік тому

      I've never used the system in temps above 85F. We migrate south for the winters but spend summers in the north. Most tire monitors have a baseline temp warning setting around 160F so you should be OK. I find my tires usually run once warmed up around 20 degrees above ambient and many a little more on the sunny side.

    How do you turn off display? We just purchased and have not set up yet, but the screen does not seem to turn off when we move switch to off. Thinking maybe it is on until you program/pair them???

    • @LoveYourRV
      @LoveYourRV  Рік тому

      Mine will switch off when I turn the manual switch on the left side to the off position. Or if I leave the unit still and do not move it for a while, it auto switches off until the next time it senses movement.

    I am also interested in a propane tank monitor. what do you use?

      I've been using the Mopeka for 2 years now. Works well both app and LED display but I had an issue early on when moisture caused a failure. Company replaced under warranty. I decided to conformal coat the circuit board and have been fine since. You can see the videos here www.loveyourrv.com/more-winter-rving-prep-wireless-lp-gas-level-meters-ac-weather-cover/ and update here www.loveyourrv.com/15-rv-odds-and-ends-product-review-updates/ Cheers, Ray

    How much heavier are the sensors than the other brands. They look larger. Will they require steel valve stems

    • @LoveYourRV
      @LoveYourRV  2 роки тому

      Not really much, less than an ounce, listed as 18 grams. About the same as most other brands. Steel valves are advisable I have them on the trailer wheels but not the truck. Still have OEM rubber ones on it's wheels.
