Just add `link-citations: true` in YAML header and thenknit the file. in the output created click on the inline citation you created in your document. You will find that it is hyperlinked. your YAML header will look like this --- title: " Confidenece Interval" output: pdf_document bibliography: references.bib link-citations: true ---

Its too easy . Getvthe bibtex from zotero.bib. or R has some packages to search citations and give you bibtex.
