Nice presentation. In a quarto book with chapters how do you reference to one chapter from another. It your chapters have: title: Cross Refs with ---- above and below, then how do you add a cross-ref to that chapter. The quarto website suggest using number one heading (#) e.g. # Cross Ref #sec-crossref . but I don't see how that works with the ---- setup. Any ideas (other just changing all the chapter titles from the ---- format???
I have a rough time with the transition from a typed document like a manuscript to slides in Quarto like it is no big deal. I don't think that works. The slides will be too cluttered and busy. These are completely different formats and you can't really switch from one to the other without doing some modifications. Just my five cents.
Yes! I'm in the middle of a series on Quarto. For instance, here's a vid about using it to make beautiful slideshows: ua-cam.com/video/01KifhHDkFk/v-deo.html
@@EquitableEquations , Thanks, I'm really looking forward to the next videos you put out. I'll even set up a project folder just for these mini-courses on Quarto.
You can find materials supporting this vid (and others) at github.com/equitable-equations/youtube.
Thank you so much!…, your rstudio theme looks really nice, which one you are using?…
Thanks! I recommend View -> Panes -> Console on Right

If there is wishlist then I would like to see a review of tidymodels.
A great and useful class. Could you bring new videos about Quarto?
Thank you !!!

Looking forward for the gt video!
It’s in the can! Look for it next week or the week after.
I get it - picket fence.. I am getting a LaTeX vibe from Quarto. To me it just looks like LaTeX on steroids. Solid presentation as usual.
A {gt} video would be really cool.
Ha! It's already in the pipeline. Look for one in the next few weeks.
The documentation for gt is excellent. Google it and you will see.
