- I heard a rumour that the Goulburn River around Shepparton is an underrated fishery, is this true? In this video I went over to the Shepparton area to fish the Goulburn River with my friends ROhan and Ross to see if it was any good.
Any good? I had an absolute blast. The fishing started slow, but that me be because I was getting heaps of bites but was unable to hook them. Once I worked out how to hook the fish it was On Like Hong Kong.

what you need is a small little bucket with a rope attached to it so you can have a bucket of water ready to wet your hands with, i use one when when fishing on a jetty to get water

I was surprised too mate. It is pretty similar to the lower stretches of the Ovens River.

We've been catching the silver perch right down on the lower murray buddy as you've experienced with bait thieves if your quick you catch them best size here 35cm great video buddy definitely lucky dip with alot of action keep up the great work

Maybe you can mention in a future video that it's not good to let fish flap around in the dirt and dust for the same reasons. Great to see some footage of you venturing far and wide Robbie into new waterways. Good mixed fishery! You would never know about the silvers without bait fishing. Maybe that's why the cod get big there.

Great video as always seems to be a fair few Silver Perch around,we catch them in the menindee lake/darling river caught a few 2 weeks ago 30 plus in size very good eating fish but unfortunately silver perch are protected in the Darling river so have to be put back shrimp and small worms are very effective thanks for another awesome video Robbie 😊

Hey Robbie do you know that the silver perch makes a noise when you lay them on their side, it sounds like a purring cat. Very faint, but you can hear them. Very popular around the Murchison area too 👍 love your work mate.

Heu mate. Google "Trangia Stove". Most good camping stores sell them. I have made a few videos with mine over the years. They're fantastic. I absolutely love mine. They run on metho so are cheap to run, and maintenance free. They're been around since the 1930' or 40's.
Theyre about $150 these days. You can get cheaper knock off brands, but the original Trangia is the best. Bulletproof and reliable.
You did better than me in the Goulburn just out of Yea and Seymour a few days ago.

The Murray has heaps of silver perch. Even catch them on cheese.
