You waste more water with a normal sink, it’s using the same amount of water if you don’t leave all of them on ofc, But realistically a normal sink uses way more water. But this sink has multiple functions so it actually helps conserve water because it cleans faster therefore not needing to leave it on for longer whereat a normal sink usually is left on longer due to lack of functions.

Having fixed some of my own faucets over the years, I don't want a faucet that has so many parts that can stop functioning. But it is interesting. And I agree that it seems like it would waste a lot of water.
