I finished all my duels one or two weeks ago (as WHM and/or SGE depending on the duel) thanks to these guides and this one def took me the most time from first attempt to clear. I have a few thoughts to share about this duel so you may consider them in your tries: 1) Have at least 1 notoriety. Since it's Zadnor zone 3 there will very often be randoms from leveling groups who will try to get into this duel out of curioslty and without any knowledge or preparation. 1 noto significantly improves your odds at getting duel attempts for yourself. 2) One of the most stupid deaths I had at Lyon duel is that I used Lost Seraph Strike on him during his Taste of Blood cast at the start of the duel (1:27). Let me remind you that Seraph Strike reduces target's accuracy by 10%. As a result - I dodged Lyon's Taste of Blood and died to Duel or Die debuff. So be careful with using Lost Seraph Strike when Duel or Die is in play. Or, fellow Black Mages, be REALLY thoughtful if you are doing this duel with Essence of the Watcher. 3) Heaven and Earth is so clunky that it may cost you some duels. Don't get discouraged if you fail several times at Soul Aflame + Heaven and Earth combo. I even considered getting Resistance Medikit + Lost Manawall just to survive if I get hit (in the end at my first clear it wasn't even needed). 4) During Caged Heart of Nature there can be one very specific pattern that requires you to NOT stay near puddle during Tastes of Blood (or 3rd Lyon will kill you). It looks similar to one shown at 3:30 but if Lyon hinself cleaves the other half of the arena. I tried to run into puddles right when I get hit but I got constantly snapped by 2nd puddle wave and died. You can try to use Lost Swift/Lost Impetus here but I didn't try them ngl. How did I solve that as WHM: - I stayed as close to exaquake (moving aoe) as possible; - as soon as it starts moving (Tastes of Blood resolved at that point) I moved into its starting spot; you should be right near second wave puddle; - as soon as that 2nd wave puddle goes off - run inside it (to dodge 3rd puddle wave from opposite side) but not too inside (to not get hit by mirrored exaquake). Once again, Dynamis, thanks for your duel guides. They are pretty much the best out there up to this day!
